Sat 10 metres away from him in an intimate theatre this year. Absolutely beautiful and voice is strong and full of soul even at his age now. Highlight of my year

Ian was technically the best singer in the band his tone/timbre is a record producer's dream.

As soon as I saw this video the first time, I had to send a link to my musically knowledgeable family and friends, essentially saying this was the closest in terms of the kind of grab you by the gut soul he put into both his singing and playing as I always saw Ray Charles put into his performances, so it was good to see your similar appreciation for this performance.

As an Australian Cold Chisel are brilliant, Jimmy Barnes amazing Ian Moss awesome and of couse Don Walker main songwriter and keyboardist and Phil Small on bass unfortunately Steve Preswich as the drummer passed away a few years ago. They have all written songs for the band but on Ian Moss listen to some of his solo work just brilliant especially a song i like called Pretty Face it has a dark undertone for obvious reasons in the song but Thank you for liking our amazing artists we have here

    G'day Didy,
Great to see you back and reacting again. It's nice to hear you'll be casting your eye over some more Australian music. There was an indigenous artist that I've recommended over the years, who I rate as our greatest songwriter, that I really think you should check out. - Kev Carmody.
He has a great story, starting out as a drover when he was 12 he didn't release his first song until he was 42 in 1988 and has been a strong powerful voice for his people and the injustices they face.
He also writes the most beautifully haunting songs of this country that only someone who is completely connected to it can. His catalogue is deep and brilliant, but here are a couple to get you started.
'Thou Shalt Not Steal' - his first single and glaring light on the hypocrisy of the colonisation of Australia.
    ruclips.net/video/L6fem7-ucxg/видео.html
'Droving Woman' - the most heart wrenching song of love and loss, set in a land so adored. This version is from a cover album done by some of the greats of Aussie music Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins & Glen Richards, the start gives a lovely introduction of it.
    ruclips.net/video/tR4ioLnFWq4/видео.html
'On the Wire' - About how the land and your people will always bring you home.

So hope you can head down this rabbit hole , I know you won't be disappointed.
