Only the sturdiness of the 737 saved their ass this time.
Indeed. The 737-300 is "good old Boeing-work" - fortunately for this guys.
That was a classic microsoft flight simulator landing lol!
You can always go around ♫
If you don't look right comin down🎵
@@m4tr1xx13 dont wait until your sideways, flying upside down🎶🎵
@@m4tr1xx13 you can always go around
No you can Never go around if you don't have fuel....
That could be probably much dangerous than this...
@@harsh.sharma umm, there is always extra fuel on board. ALWAYS! At least for 40 mins they have extra fuel.
The camera is just as unstable as the approach ....
no it isnt
@@goodccvoid yes it is, have a look at ruclips.net/video/ohDB5gbtaEQ/видео.html
Still a more stable approach and landing than I make in infinite flight
The first scene, it’s not Trigana but Jayawijaya Air… first scene and second scene is different company
Guy 1: Bahaya (Dangerous!)
Guy 1: Mau mati pilot ini (this pilot wants to die!)
Guy 1 (on background): hit! Tapi ditikung begini. (... but he cornered it like this)
Guy 2: Hey lihat tuh! (Hey look at that!)
Guy 1: Ooh dia lewat? (Ooh he went through?) Tidak masuk? (Did he get in?)
Guy 2: Huh?
Guy 1: Huh? Masuk apa tidak nih? (Can he get this in or not?)
Guy 1: Eh? Masih tinggi tuh! (Eh? That is still too high!)
Guy 2: Tak apa, tak apa! (It's alright, it's alright) Jalan tak apa sih! (It is going alright!)
Guy 3: Tak apa sih... eh bahaya sekali! (It's alright... eh, that's very dangerous!)
Guy 1: sayap... (wing...)
Guy 3: crash... crash... crash...
Everyone:
Well, that renders that aircraft unairworthy! Cool carrier landing though!
APAC (mostly in part by Indonesia). Such a sweet ICAO safety region. Right after Africa I believe.
Its pretty elastic wing, like dreamliners
I’m just waiting for LOaltitude to do a voice over
Caramba, que porrada. Parece eu pousando no fsx
incoming!!!!!!! claaackkk
Technically planes dont need flaps(the ones broken in that plane) because those are for aerodynamic advantage, without them only cause fuel inefficiency and difficult takeoff/landing.
The airport destination is WAVV no WAJJ
but why not a go around ! ..no crew management ?...they are lucky ..and the 737 -300 a good machine ...
Amazing the engines weren’t torn off
Those bolts that hold them on are really strong. My father used to machine each of those!
@@SaucemanSauceman Nope, they are made to shear also called a fuse pin, If structural overload occurs, the fuse pin fails first and the wing structure (fuel tank) remains intact.
@@soeren72 i could be wrong about the engineering of it lol. I've got some.
Wow
I feel like this is a different video. If I'm not wrong, the Trigana incident happened on runway 15. This video shows a plane approaching runway 33.
The difference between runway 15 and runway 33 is 180 degrees, the concrete/tarmac is the same .....
@@zonzeven Same runway, different circumstances. I think it's safe to say it's a different airplane. 🤷🏾♂️
First flight after leaving quarantine.
Ryanair: I don't see anything wrong here
This is JAYAWIJAYA Air
I take back what i said in the previous video, it was totally pilot error. But we don't know the situation there, so might be still about the weather (wind) maybe gusty too(?)
Watch the cockpit video . They fucked up bad 😅😅
I can assure you the sound you hear of the 737 on approach is not the engine sound of a 737-300. It’s the sound of a Pratt and Whitney JT8D used on older 737-200/100 and 727’s and DC-9’s. Something is not right with this video.
There's a lot not right with this video.
Trigana operates only 737-300 and 737-400 (and ATR) - and it´s clearly a Trigana 737.
You're overthinking it, this is very legit with this 737-300. There is an incident report written up for it already.
@@kmccamis Indeed.
Meh, close enough.. At least it’s on the ground with a minor wing scrape..
Damn... That wasnt good
License - game over!
Sorry for russian, but we have byword for it
Прилетели,
мягко сели,
высылайте запчастя:
два тумблера
два мотора
фюзеляж
и плоскостя
Some machine translate:
Arrived,
gently sat down,
send spare parts:
two toggle switches
two engines
fuselage
and plane
aint fixing that with speed tape
I hope nobody been wounded...👀👀
His left wing was low the whole approach for some reason. Possibly due to equipment failure and unable to control. I’m not a pilot but I’m not blind either.
No
Unable to Deploy Flaps ,,is why he came in so fast .
No... can see clap damage from when extended
No flaps landing ?? Geez he came in fast
damage to wings and flaps are consistent with flaps being down. retracted after landing. 1:03.
Are they dumping fuel?
737 can't dump fuel ;)
I think there shedding fuel, having split the tank!
It's just a condensation trail.
Holy shit! Cheap economy tickets on Cocktail Airlines.
This plane it is in a serious unairworthy conditions
I've experienced harder landings on RyanAir
Foggy condition make visual approach being difficult
Look at the mountains in the runway heading, they are at least 5 km away. Foggy ?????
Nope, don't make excuses for bad airmanship
Soon we learn that pilot wasn’t there.
Sad, loss of control or hidraulic in flight? Landing using engine for elevation?? I can't explain this landing...... Poor 37
thats Jayawijaya not Trigana
it's like 737-200 and the green logo
Captain only landing zone
Well aren't they lucky that is an empty plane.
Ryan air landing :V
But a perfect one...:-)
super pilot in kamikaze action lol lol
2 different aircraft, 2 different video...good editing
Watch it closely ;)
the real situation is tje landing gear was broken
ruclips.net/video/Ftr6EGIILZY/видео.html
737Aviation how closely you want me to see?...., I know this is 2 different video 2 different accident. And am a pilot I easily hear the engine sound of JT8D engine on the 1st video B732, and the 1st video was accident in 2003 (or 2013) they approached using rwy 33. The second video is B733, they approach runway 15. Cmon man, collecting viewer using false video?....
Both accident took place at WAVV/WMX, but still different videos 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@OneStepTravelers No, you are wrong, you should use eyes instead of ears perhaps... Both videos have same airplane with a blue tail.
There were 3 other accidents on this airport with similar airplanes, 2 with white tail and 1 with purple tail:
28 August 2015 Boeing 737-3Q8 (BDSF) Cardig Air, "the aircraft touched down about 35 meters before the beginning of runway 15 with a vertical acceleration of 3.68 G and stopped at about 1500 meters from the runway threshold. The left main landing gear collapsed and the left engine scratched the runway surface." aviation-safety.net/photo/7563/Boeing-737-3Q8BDSF-PK-BBY
13 September 2016 Boeing 737-347 (SF) Trigana Air Service, " the aircraft rolled left 28° and pitched down 11°, before returning to approximately wings level and +7° pitch. The aircraft then touched down with a vertical acceleration of 3.25 g.
Both main landings gear subsequently collapsed and the left main landing gear completely detached during landing. The aircraft stopped at approximately 1,890 meters from the beginning of runway 15." ruclips.net/video/3c5HjUVDJiQ/видео.html&feature=emb_logo
18 July 2017 Boeing 737-301 (SF) Tri-MG Intra Asia Airlines "the aircraft bounce twice while landing on runway 15. It then veered off the left side of the runway. Both main landing gear legs collapsed and the aircraft came to rest with the nose of the aircraft protruding over the a small stream next to the concrete airport boundary wall." aviatren.com/2017/07/18/pesawat-kargo-b737-milik-tri-mg-tergelincir-di-wamena/
If you are really a pilot I hope you are not one of these cowboys who slams planes into the runway...
@@pudiangindah4735 That is a different airplane clearly. White tail instead of blue and how do you explain collapsed gear in your video when we see gear is undamaged here?
it was not a good situation.
God Job pilot
I Live At Indonesia But not at papua
Indonesian airline...
The best in the world wkwkwk
3rd world flight training at its best
Are these even pilots ? They should be only allowed to fly Cessna
Anjrit runway 33
Man some of these countries have 0 standards for pilots 🤦♂️
That makes pilot training so much faster and far less expensive !
The crew should have been transported to the hospital alright... a psychiatric one.
Due to high altitude of airport, I think this issue happened
Nothing to do with that, it was a bad unstable approach. Should've went around
Yea........ 😳 Can’t see that excuse going down well over tea and biscuits with the chief pilot!
As the altitude of the airport above sea level increases, the distance taken by an aircraft on the runway during takeoff and landing increases as well. Due to its inability to speed up or slow down quickly compared to lower altitudes.
@@srivatsa9335 I know smh. I'm explaining what went wrong. If it was a stable approach it would've landed fine. As it was an unstable approach however the incident occurred.
@@m4tr1xx13 I am explaining reason the pilot was unable to recover from the unstable approach as quickly as he wanted to
not poggers
Fyi guys. Trigana air is one of the worst airline in indonesia. Almost same as adamair.
