Love the 390D. A joy to ride fast. Unlike a bigger cc bike, where one is unable to access its potentials. For me, it’s scary to ride a fast bike slow than to ride a lesser power bike at a pace you’re comfortable with.
I totally agree! I’d much more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than to ride a fast bike slow. Besides, this track is relatively small and short, so a small, lightweight bike makes perfect sense.
I never knew how quick I could be around the corners until I really pushed it. No Ducati can keep up with me, until the straightaway... But 'round the corners where it matters, no one is touching the 390.
Absolutely! Why not? Perhaps don't try to lean quite as much, but about 85% of sportbike lean is totally fine! It's basically an RC390 without the fairings, anyway!
In this video, I'm running Michelin Pilot Power C2's. They're amazing! Very confidence inspiring - I feel like I can lean my bike extreme angles without feeling nervous or worried. They're great tires, I can't recommend them enough!
No, it's not stock. I've done quite a few mods to it, mostly cosmetic. The only "performance" mods I've installed or done to the bike are much more aggressive brake pads and a full titanium exhaust.
This is at MSR Houston, in Angleton, Texas. It’s about a 40 minute drive south from Houston, and it’s Houston’s premier racetrack where most track days are held. It’s a great track, and has a very special place in my heart.
Nice riding, It seems like you're getting a lot of head shake, does it feel as bad as it looks in the vid? I'm getting back into trackdays on an MT 03 at MSRH this year.
No, not at all! I must admit, the video is a bit shakier than I hoped for, and I’m not sure why. I love the MT03! Hopefully I can catch you on the track one of these weekends!

Duke is an absolute weapon, its so fast in tight corners its unbelievable how easy it is to keep up with bigger bikes

Seems like the other bikers are inexperienced. But man you thriving! Nice
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Should u try to lean like a sportsbike on a 390 duke?

Bro, what tires are on your duke? stock? on mine stand ContiMotion

Is that a stock Duke 390? Or you did some mods to it? Thx

@@MotoRevs even the suspension was stock? Waw interesting.. Anyhow thanks for the feedback mate.
Cheers.
Yep! I just powder coated the rear spring for more of a pop in color. Glad I could help!
What's the track

My duke had engine failure at 7000km
I’m sorry to hear. What caused this failure?
Rebuild it
