- Devin got referred to the MFM in Tallahassee since she is high risk with type 1 diabetes. Her doctor wanted to be extra cautious and make sure everything looks good!

Im an office supervisor for an MFM office in Florida. We are not scary I promise. It breaks my heart when patients are so scared to even schedule with us. We want the best for you and your baby. Its just an extra set of specially trained eyes on you and baby. We also can give delivery recommendations to you and your OB. Im 31 weeks pregnant and I see the doctors at my office regularly. I genuinely believe God has placed me there to save my baby. We are both doing great and love our care team🩷
I had to go to a mfm when I was pregnant with my 8 year old daughter cause I'm a diabetic my self they wasn't scary to me of course mine was in Franklin tn and they were amazing with me ❤❤❤❤
Agree. My wife is disabled. She’s almost 7 months old:). They sent her to a high risk just to be safe. Not scary at all. Just stay calm throughout it all. You women are all incredible. There is nothing you can’t do and nothing you won’t do for your baby ❤

The MFM was literally a God send when I was pregnant with my identical twins. I ended up having twin to twin transfusion syndrome and my regular ob would not have known. They caught it and sent me to Houston for fetal surgery at 18 weeks. My water broke at 19 weeks (we knew it was a possibility with the surgery), and I was in the hospital for 34 days before my placenta detached and they came at 26 weeks. Without the MFM I could have lost both my boys.

I pray everything goes well. I’m 31 & was diagnosed with type 1 Diabeties at 9. Low blood sugars are so scary when they come on fast & drop fast. My endocrinologist always told me during pregnancy I’d get referred to a high risk doctor. You got this girl!♥️🙏🏼

I’m 10 weeks and a T1D and just saw my MFM last week. My entire first pregnancy was handled by MFM because of my diabetes, honestly they’re the least stressful of my medical team. I look forward to those visits because they always reassure me and take great care of me.

My last pregnancy I was with MFM since 12 weeks got cleared at 20 weeks and then had to go back with them at 28 weeks until the end.. it was nice to have the extra support and extra check ups to know everything was ok ❤

I understand the MFM doctor because I have to start seeing them 10 weeks into pregnancy every pregnancy. It’s nothing to worry about because they just want to keep you and baby safe.

I went to MFM from 8 weeks with both of my pregnancies and they are AMAZING. I know every office is different, but I loved my experience at MFM. I don't have anything else to compare it to because they handled both of my pregnancies all throughout, but I have no doubt that you're going to have an amazing experience. (I'm only 1 minute in hahah)

I'll be 37 weeks on Friday but going completely unmedicated...sounds like we could end up having our boys around the same time
Anyway you can watch your sodium, the better. A hack I use is asking for no salt on my fries, burgers with no seasoning, anywhere you can lose the salt the better.😊❤️

I had a MFM ultrasound done for growth at 39+1 and my baby measured 8lbs 7oz. Coincidentally, she was born the next day and weighed 8lbs 6.7oz. I’d trust that ultrasound with my life 😂
For your pelvic pain, look into taking liquid iodine daily for it! I take it for my SPD and it’s definitely helping take the edge off! Stairs make it so much worse lol but it’s a natural remedy if you’re interested in trying it!

The one good thing about having a high risk pregnancy is all the cute 3-d ultrasound pictures you get. I have from 10-38 week ultrasounds with all 3 of my babies. I had to get them done every 2 weeks and I actually looked forward to my appointments. Little man will be here before ya know it❤

If babies gain 1 lb every week after a certain point and the babies already 5 lbs you're going to have yourself a 9 to 10 lb kid. And girl you're diabetic my prayers are with you you're going to have a toddler
Yep, I've always heard that diabetic babies are always big! My son weighed 10 lbs 4 oz at birth but I was not diabetic.

My daughter has three kids my first grandson she had to go to a high-risk doctor because of her blood pressure and placenta. She went into labor two months before due date he weighed 4 pounds Her second child she had to see a high-risk doctor because I was Friday. It was going to do the same thing but she came out fine but she has C-sections. I believe that you will be OK. Y’all are such a cute couple. I love watching y’all.

How did you wait so long for MFM? I am a type 1 pregnant with my second and they sent me to MFM now at 15 weeks.. my son made it to 35 weeks before our emergency c section. Love yall and your videos, so nice to see another type 1 badass having such a big platform. Prayers for a safe & healthy delivery and baby boy 💙 Our sweet girl will be here in Nov :)
also my son was in NICU for 12 days, born at 35 weeks and was 8lbs 5oz at birth.. diabetes boys are biiiiiiig 🫶🏼

Devin I can imagine you want to make everything so nice and perfect for little Brewer. Like you said, you need rest so you can have energy saved up for delivery. Just remember what we we've learned from Mary and Martha in the bible. Also our holy Mary; Jesus mum didn't have much and yet Jesus was well looked after and loved. You know what's essential for newborns as you've been there before. You don't have to get everything all at once. ❤

The last two babies my husband has injured his knee about a month or less before we gave birth 🤦🏼♀️ Thankfully 1hr long labors both times so he didn't have to do anything too crazy involved but it is scary thinking they may not be able to help you in labor at all 😢

I saw MFM through my whole pregnancy and my guy was measuring 5lb4oz at 31+6 and then measured 7lb7oz at 36+6 and then he was born at 39 weeks exactly weighing 7lb 8oz. They were estimating him to be almost 10lb. So definitely don't listen to those measurements 🤣
