There are so many airspawn bullshit nowadays altitude game is pointless

@@ozan1234561 Play the me262 squadron vehicle starting on the runway. You will see why. A WW-2 jet gets placed with almost exclusively post-war jets, and even Sabres and Mig 15's. If it doesn't get the airspawn, it can't compete.

It's a combination of ground targets being easier to kill, GRB players spamming attackers, shorter match lengths, and players in general sucking at props because new players care more about jets. It used to be that only 2-3 noobs wouldn't climb, now hugging the deck is almost meta

Fortunately there is a semi complete Ta-152 in restoration. It's the only living example of it, it most likely won't be airworthy but seeing it in a museum would be so sick

Absolute favorite aircraft is Do 335 B-2, if you never were in a germany team at 5.7 and someone in your team said "ah great I'm the only fighter" and you just kill the entire enemy team with your strike aircraft, then you don't know why I love that plane.
Love the Memphis Bell reference. That scene as a kid always gave me chills.

I got gotten by it in a Spirfire one time in ground RB. I had no idea it could do that!
@michaelbeale559 oh yeah, honestly I accidentally put my gear down then hit flaps in the middle of a fight, been doin it ever since....if u start to do a one circle only thing that has beaten me was japanese planes, it's a 50/50 for anything else, for spitfires if u use landing flaps u will beat in a 1 circle, haven't been able to test against a pilot I know is as good or better though,
It can out-turn everything around 400kmph. It also won't rip its flaps in vertical fights around this speed. I kill spit LFs every time in it

@Bud_Weedmin a great technique is to just put it into a flat turn with takeoff flaps and bleed their energy since the ta152h had cracked energy retention. Then just go up and spiral climb and they stall below you

Dude that was an awesome and definitely terrifying situation there. I’d have probably lost my cool as soon as that mustang got behind me lol. I gotta figure out my sound because I don’t hear the gunfire like that when I play that is some great sound going on.

My favourite plane is the Typhoon Mk.1b. Either of them. They got a recent "flaps blocked at high speed" nerf, but that doesn't change the fact that they perform incredibly.

Back in Legacy all I ever wanted was the Ta 152 H1 and it is still up to this day my most favourite and desirable plane in the wole game

I used to abuse this one to the FULLEST. Back in 2018 you could climb like crazy, dive like crazy, AND TURN because landing flaps did not break at all.
So I would climb, and then dive, reach 700kph, and then turn with every single fighter in the game. I think I had a 4,5-1 in it. Paired with a talisman, it was GOD

BF-109 F-4, absolutely solid plane to be flying
My favorite aircraft is the Komet. Absolute BEAST!!! Minimum 4 kills a game, average 5, my best was 9. Love it. Started really using it just before it blew up about a year ago and now everyone has stopped using it again it seems.

My ABSOLUTE favourite aircraft is the spitfire.
The 152H has always been my favorite looking aircraft. Even got some books about it when I was younger. Such a cool plane with equally cool tech inside of it
i have this aircraft as a rc model at about 1300mm and it climbs just as crazy irl and hits 120mph out of a tailwind dive, and that isn’t even an upgrade motor option, the high aspect ratio wing makes it climb like crazy!! good hunting brother!!
P-61-C is probably one of my favorites due to its twin boom design and powerful armament. I know it’s not the best plane in war thunder but I think its history and real-life mission was awesome.

For me, it’s the spitfire mk2 Specifically in simulator battles
Once you have the hang of the flight model and manual engine controls you basically feel like you can take on anything.
Early ones have better visibility and basically out preform everything with a bit of skill.
So much fun to be had there, especially if you run into the 109/190 boys that know what there are doing.
Favorite plane: for me, it's hard to beat the various P-38 iterations. The "twin-tailed devil" has that classic look, it's fun to fly, and the lack of a convergence point you get with those tight-packed guns in the nose is hard to beat.
Finally some love for my dearest Ta 152. I love this aircraft because you ALWAYS end up at a higher altitude than every other fighter by the time the fight starts.
I can sense the F4U getting a little jealous of the favorite spot being taken lol. Awesome video dude can’t wait to try this plane out. Been running the FokWulf boys for so long.
Favorite aircraft by far is the A7M2. It’s the first plane I scored an ace with, the first reversal I got, and the first Japanese plane that didn’t fall apart immediately when the enemy hit it.
That “dont go for the bait” line at the start made me smile. I was in my bearcat today and FOUR enemy Ta 152s dove on their first targets. I managed to get above one and absolutely clapped him out of the sky. I still say Bearcat is better. But that’s my bias
Favorite aircraft irl would probably be the F-117 Nighthawk, but in-game it is definitely the F-82. To quote an older Phly video, "Freedom, a word we hear a lot but what does it really mean? Phly: "14 .50 cals!"
Absolute favourite plane in WT will always be the FW-190 A-5. Boom and zoom with that thing is just a joy. Havent played in ages though. I suspect i would love this thing to bits.

Favorite tank would clearly be the puma for me. Agile, usable even against tanks quite uptiered and basically always fun till CAS arrives.
Plane wise its the SK60B. The manual guided missiles are so satisfying if they hit. The reversethrust is also superb for quick reloading and taking off again.
I absolutely adore the Mirage 2000C-S4/5 - both are excellent at 11.7. gobsmackingly pretty, very good set of guns, good missiles (the r530ds will happily hit mach 5 if you give them enough oomph), decent enough radar, and the flight performance is nutty. very fun for reversing f-16s who think they have an easy kill on their hands

My personal favorite is the A-36. 6x .50 cal without gunpods, and Air Brakes if needed. Low BR and good performance with good looks

Scimitar can be a lot of fun, it's climb-rate and power is amazing for the BR.
Play as an energy fighter and almost nothing you'll see can match you.
The Ta-152 just looks like a bird of prey with those long sleek wings. Such a beautiful aircraft.

Right now, I'd say my favorite ground vehicle is the 3.7 M4. At its BR, it is an absolute menace.
Plane is a bit tricky. Initially, I want to say the Yak-9 and its variants, but the P-47 has proven to be a better all-rounder with decent bomb loadouts, and enough machine guns to shred enemy air as well.
If we're talking about outside of the game though, I have to go with the P-38. A timeless beauty, and being able to fly one IRL would be a dream come true.
I don’t know what you did with the editing during that fight over Britain, but it reminded me of the old 1.47 days. Very nostalgic. More WWII content please!

Sir the Memphis belle sound bite was just amazing very overlooked movie
The only things I can remember about this plane is that :
1) if you flew Air RB, you were always doing a 2v6 (and if you were unlucky, 1v6) because the rest of your team was playing bomber
2) the repairs were as stupid as those French autoloader tanks because of rEaLiSm.
My favourite tank went from the Sherman VC, to the Challenger (WW2) and now currently is the T26E5, favourite plane might be the Gripen C or the P-40E
Fw 190D will always be my #1, absolutely gorgeous and effective
It's this kind of flying that's the soulfood I watch for. Thank you. Just played a couple rounds in it and enjoyed it.
The Yak-1B and Bf-109 E-3 are tied as my favorite planes to play and fight with, they're both just so good for the br. The K-4 is probably my favorite plane to fly though. My favorite tanks are both Tiger Is and the Tiger II late.
XP-55 is currently my favorite aircraft. Great climb and gun package, plus a I fly pusher planes IRL!

When it comes to “prettiest” fighter, I’m not sure but the Ta 152H is definitely a contender as are the P-51 and the P-38.
I HAVE WAITED YEARS FOR A RUclipsR TO SHOW OFF MY FAVORITE PLANE! Can dogfight any zero,spit, or F2G rain or shine.
Absolute favorite has got to be the BF 109 G-6 idk what it is about it, but with the 20 MM on the wings and 30 MM in the nose at 4.7 I feel invincible in both Air and Ground RB. Also, huge fan Phly so glad you're back!
