8bit controllers are 100aud, picked an 8bit ultimate controller and haven't touched my scuf or edge since, it's xbox style controller but it's polling rate is 1000hz
@@07Ansendo you use it on PS5? I have always used 8bitdo, but I recently left PC gaming and went to PS5. I'm worried about these gimmicks of how people connect the ultimate to the ps5
Not used to controllers as I've always played on PC, but decided to get a ps controller. To start with, it's too expensive, but that's a product of this economy. Bought Phantom with hall effect. Extremely happy with it - back buttons are exactly where I'd need them, hall effect feels very smooth, tested it and they both get almost 3.5% stick rotation error, controller in of itself feels very nice in the hand. The only actual problem is warranty, as it's very wague. If you can afford it, go for it.
Extremerate is doing a 4 button back paddle for the DS EDGE and clicky triggers. FYI you can buy the replacement thumbsticks for the DS EDGE in the US, just got 3 for $90 Canadian all in taxes and everything. I've had mine for 8 months and it still has no stick drift and the replacement thumbstick has the same tension as the original so it's holding up surprisingly well.
I actually got a HexGaming Phantom Pro today (the Phantom with the Hall Effect joysticks). It looks so sick in blue and black, and all the features on it are awesome. It did set me back $250, but I love it. I might actually like it more than my Ultra X (also from Hex, but for the XBox).
I've been thinking of buying one. I heard everything can be remapped.. even the analog sticks? can you remap the left analog stick to the four directional buttons? I hate using that stick.
@ gotcha … I’ve had the same setup for the past year or so … I play daily and usually no issues. The other day it starting disconnecting so I’ll quickly unplug and plug back in and it resets. I was just curious if u knew anything “new” that might be happening. I’ll definitely troubleshoot my cords and replace if needed. Thanks.
i went with Aim, their controller is similar to Hex, just i liked the options there better, and you can get custom snap plates to change the appearance, you can get it with hallow effect or normal, you can add swappable joys, but i went with non swappable, cause in my experience with controllers that do that they tend to come off or get lost, they also have quick triggers, you can also add short stop bumpers, and digital face buttons, and the back buttons are comfy to use, but the most notable ting about Aim, is that they offer a payment plan, so i didn't have to pay upfront, just my first payment of 60 usd, and the payments were interest free
I recently got the Hex Phantom controller, which offers a payment plan through PayPal. I also still have an Aim controller that I purchased two years ago. However, I find that the Aim controller feels heavy, and the back buttons aren't as comfortable as those on the Hex Phantom. Overall, I like both controllers, but right now, the Phantom is my go-to option.
Yes. The phantom has clicky bumpers as well as adaptive triggers. I have a new video coming out soon that shows some really cool new options as well as explains the triggers better
For sure. Most of the memberships give you a new account. So you can save some serious cash, but you won't have your playlists, or watched list ported over. It hurts for a month or so. But after that it's all trained to you again
Stick drift i want a controller that eliminate stick drift completely dont care how expensive i been through 3 ps5 controllers that all died to stick drift
@@timodante2286 strikepacks aren't intended for pc therefore they will not work on pcs, you can try a work around with emulators but most likely won't work. Better off buying a chronus

Great video, thank you. Now my question how long does the charged last compared to the PS 5 dual edge?
These all have the factory dual sense battery in them. Battery life should be about the same
Prices for these peripherals have become so insanely ridiculous.
Agreed. It helps show how much Sony offsets the cost of the console
Stop buying them it just keeps prices high

When I use the Zen I have lag. Do I need to use the Bsavior or Hex controller? Can the Hex be used with the Zen?
Hex works with zen.
Lag would be from zen to ps5 side.
The hex phantom controller how do you correct stick drift on it?

Yeah, I’m ready for Extremerate to hurry up and come on with it.

Stay tuned to this channel. Extreme rate clicky trigger stop mod is coming out really really soon!
Now that the Hall effect phantom is out I’ll be getting one.
Incredible video, dobthey have clicky d-pads?
Get a grip can add clicky d pad. The others do not

Does Besavior still work with Zen? A lot of disconnects lately. Can u test?
Works fine. Check cables

Nice
The d pad on the ps5 sucks. Is there any controller that has better d pad.
Nintendo has the patent for the best d pad. Everyone else is just 2nd best at best
Thx
No problem
Only downside of the hex phantom: no shipping to EU :(
There is a diy option coming soon. Video incoming
Brother, I bought it from Amazon and got it shipped to EU, it's a lot more expensive because of shipping and taxes tho.
Nacon rev 5 pro
I'm just not a fan of the offset sticks
@GearsAndTech personal preference. Pros and cons for sure
Stick drift i want a controller that eliminate stick drift completely dont care how expensive i been through 3 ps5 controllers that all died to stick drift
Phantom with hall effect won't get drift
Or get a strikepack 👀
You need a P5Mate to get strike pack working on Ps5
@GearsAndTech really? , lately there's been a simple workaround to getting it workin on the ps5 without the psmate
Doesn't work on pc
