    The 740 was a beast on torque test channel

    So connected-ready adds $30 to the cost, but you still need to spend another $20 on the Bluetooth module to make those extra functions work.

      For bare tool that’s correct, included in kits. Milwaukee ONE-KEY is $50 difference so not completely out of line with other brands.

      The connected also adds some extra modes right out of the box which I've found very useful. I think it's worth the extra money even if you don't intend to get the Bluetooth module.

    When connected with the blue tooth module, can you disable the tool so it will not operate if it gets stolen?

    • @OhioPowerTool

      In the research we've been able to do into this question, unfortunately it doesn't seem like that's an option with the module, though it would be a very good idea!

    I have four connectable Bosch tools. It’s interesting to see the app. Is the app relatively the same between impact wrenches?

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  Год назад +1

      Pretty close between the different impact driver and impact wrenches.

    Bosch quality has become terrible. Their warranty is worse. Recently purchased a Bosch Portable Bandsaw which died with the second use. Bosch refused to warranty it. They don't seem to care about their customers at all.

    So how does this compare to the new Hercules impact wrench

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  Год назад

      An interesting question! We unfortunately don't carry Hercules brand, it seems they're specific to Harbor Freight, so it's unfortunately out of our purview; if we had to put our money on one of them, though, we'd probably go with Bosch!

    Who cares about that stupid APP???
    Why didn't they talk about reliability, that is what power users need to know!

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  Год назад

      When reviewing multiple customer reviews across many different platforms, everyone seems to agree that these impact drivers were reliable and what they were looking for. Of course, some have a brand they gravitate towards more than others so I would keep that in mind when looking at customer reviews, if you are looking to purchase these drivers! Let us know if you have any more questions.

    What's the difference between 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch? Newbie here...thanks in advance!

      more power

    • @OhioPowerTool
      @OhioPowerTool  10 месяцев назад +1

      The 3/4 inch delivers higher torque levels and can be used in heaver duty applications. Compared to the 1/2 inch that is used for tasks where maneuverability and portability are essential!

      @@OhioPowerToolthank you so much for the kind explanations. I finally bought a 1200 NM impact wrench to open van/car/small pickup lug nuts. A bit of an overkill but not when u stuck with tourists in the middle of the highway. The Borch was a bit too expensive especially batteries n charger being sold seperately. Thanks again!!

      @@OhioPowerTool oh yeah I get that lol. Didn't mean anything by it I just thought it was funny. Can't deny that I've ever stuck a anvil bit in a driver before. My old m18 driver was my 3/8 impact and my drill for a long time lol.
