My Favourite Murci on RUclips 💪🏼 oh wait let me rephrase… The Baddest Murcielago on the planet 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I agree! Absolutely badass! I wish it was abit easier to replicate. The world definitely could use a few more of these.
100% totally agree 👍🏻😉
Close but are you forgetting About the 3 LP-670 MURRRRRRCCCCCCIIIIIII SV GATED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. LAMBO ITSELF SAYS NO LP670SV 6spd manuals were made out of 170~189ish made 100ish are North American market look up HOUSTON CROSTA MURCIE SV

This is still the best merci
Those few shots of the car driving from outside near the end reminded me just how much presence this car has. Actually, calling it a car is an understatement. Animal.
For sure. I don't get to see it in motion often. Even I thought, wow that looks awesome when editing the video.
This car has so much presence! You're not far off now!!! Well done all for messing about with a lambo and making it better. Remember don't forget "Greg I want a pop and bang map" 😂
Cheers. It's the one car that is allowed a pop and bank map 😂
That would wreak havoc with a pop and bang map 😂
13:17
I never thought the merci could ever get cooler
The "batwings" are so cool please keep them up
By far the best lamborghini build ever
Better than mad Mike's lambo imo
Cheers 👍
You might just of created the most aesthetic modded car of all time, Every angle is flawless , We need to see it more in normal environment as it shows its lines more
that car looks so well put together it has got to be one the best if not the best ones out there being driven
I love this content, it's just so real in representing the actual car build, especially when doing something custom.
18:14 🤣
Wow that looks great in those last clips. So aggressive looking! I’d genuinely be scared if that came down the road at me 😂
I always say it, best Lamborghini I've ever seen, period.... just imagine what some bright neon blue stitching would do on the interior to match those calipers 👌🏻
Echoing the Sentiments of Most, The Most Epic Lamborghini of All-Time! Absolutely Gorgeous, Absolutely Mega, This is The Ultimate Garage Goals inspiration!
Thanks man! 🙏
Appreciate you guys filming even during the head-scratching moments of fault diagnosis. The videos never get monotonous. I’d rather this, than the typical automotive RUclipsr videos aimed at people with short attention spans, all day.
Best looking Murcielago, imagine this on the intro of Cannonball Run!
Sounds amazing already cannot wait to hear it after the proper mapping!
Your(s) positive attitude is probably a must for a project such as this. In my mind I compre it to the M8 and the apparent rough time to get it running at all properly with ITBs and V12, back then. Now 30 years later, I hope yours will come to fruition!!!
This should be to young Petrolheads, what the Lamborghini Countach was to me as a child. Truly epic epic build.
Awesome build this - absolutely LOVE IT - well done Phil and Jay 👏👏
Phil the brummy Batman 🤣 Glad Jay gets to drive it after all the work he does on the motors, let him rip it once its done Lol
Enjoyed the bonus driving footage thank you!
Even through the camera Gav's (Gaz?) paint job is just heaven.
(Apologies if my memory of his name is off).
Cheers. It's Gaz 👍
Been waiting for this, ear phones on, damn this is so beautiful. From the rooter to the tooter.
Your lucky to have someone so committed as jay he’s a good Freind
This car is off the charts cool, epic build.
Tuning session is going to be fire! 🔥🔥🔥. Literally 😁👍❤️
Needs a nice eventuri box+intake on there👀
It does! I need to pursuade them they want to get involved 😂
I’ve never noticed it before, but those shots in the industrial estate at the end, the sound of the intake through the throttle bodies sounds awesome against the exhaust. Nearly there, fingers crossed this is the last of the balancing and throttle gremlins 👌
EPIC CAR!!
The beauty is back to be a "beast" on the dyno!!!
That thing is absolutely naaaasty! Such an amazing car!
DDE has a nice Merci, but this one stands alone.
As if the Murcielago wasn't already a stunner...this Beast is insanely beautiful ~!
Cheers 🙏
Yes!!! This thing is looking so good man. Stoked to see it outside for once haha. Cheers!
That thing looks soo good when its moving!
An Italian car with wiring problems, surely not?! Lol. Can never have too much content on this monster.
Such a cool car. And I'm glad you guys found the issue. A suggestion for the wiring is maybe the wire sizing for the current at that temperature was too marginal. So eventually with the high ambient temps also increasing resistance they eventually melted. Maybe stepping up a size or 2 would've helped though maybe now it's cooler that's enough already.
Would love to see the Haltech integrated into lambo CAN and have batwing factory functionality and maybe added functionality:]
Then it just needs a motec c1212 dash or ghost dash ;] awesome car
This is probably my favorite car, ever. Only a CGT competes in my mind.
Once it’s fully tuned and had a dyno run, it’s gonna be back as the beast again.
problems aside, still 100% worth it installing those ITBs
Really enjoyed this video. Murci is drop dead gorgeous
Cheers 🙏
11:30 as cool as exposed ITBs look, I really hope it ends up with a proper airbox, the IATs must be through the roof in that engine bay.
It will. I have a design. I just need the time and many coins to make it happen.
Imo the wiring being melted together is more likely caused by a short on one of the wires rather than due to engine heat
Yeppp. Murcie is A MURRRRRRRRRCY
That Lambo is my all time favorite spec
I love this car. I love your taste in cars 🫡🫡❤️💯🔥🔥
Thank you 🙌
This will be epic ! 🙏🏻👏👏👏👏👏
JP showed me your channel. Never regretted the subscription since then. Keep up the great work Phil.👍🏼
Will do! Thanks man 🙏
Batwings up for sure.
And is it really a dyno session at Greg’s where it doesn’t finish at like 3am? 😂 Not been for years but I don’t think any used to end before midnight back then 😂
For sure 😂. I'm too old for that shit nowadays.
I’m always surprised when I see Pro tuner working on something like this. As he couldn’t tune a Nissan Micra K11 on a Haltech elite 1500. I came away with a misfire due to a blown coil in the dizzy. Because the dwell had been turned up to a ridiculous level. And around 80 bhp. Which was pretty much standard. Still took my money tho.
On the same set up apart from a new distributor, at another tuner. It came away with 110 bhp.
Seeing those S54 throttle bodies reminded me of a certain car that needs to be finished... we want V10 M3... =P
Remind me so much of the late nights at Greg’s hahaha, dominos pizza extra cheese! 😂
Two mins since the upload and there’s comments already!
I might as well comment first and then say, I “ will “ enjoy watching the video 😆
God I love the Murci. Dream car.
It's a bloody naughty looking car
Murci + ITBs = God tier
Great sayings top bellend 😂 great show the phill and Jay show 😊
😂
Well impressed with how smoothly it idles on ITBs. Got an LS1 on ITB with Holley ECU tuner had trouble setting up idle, still poor would you recommend the Nexus Rebel with twin O2 sensors over the Holley ? Great content 👍
If Batman was real, he would drive this. Absolutely without question an amazing car. Bloody awesome.
🙏
Wings Up !!! 🎉
Need some HeaderShield custom stainless or inconel wrap on the headers to help keep those temps down!
Bat wings up for sure!
Phil you need new forks for the forklift. You can't have hole for a ball hitch in them. You need a proper fork extension with a ball hitch
If you're being serious you are in the wrong place sir 😂.
here for Jay's trousers at 29:29
😂
The only release I watch this video is for the Murcielago :)
If the outer sheething has no heat damage seems to point to the melted wires due to an amperage issue where they pulled too much current.
The ultimate joys of Dyno-day! all in one video, just missing a total engine failure and this would be a 10/10 (just joking)
Just missing the D&B
😂 There's still time.
How you drive that round those roads is beyond me 😂
When I came over the other week in my 46 I had to do like 5mph on the estate, or I wouldn’t have been able to drive home I don’t think 😂🫣
I almost don't think about it anymore.. It is particulary bad at the moment though. I keep bags of patchmack and usually go out and fill the bad holes myself every year as no-one seems to own the road to complain too.
@@driftworks yeah in your defence I’ve seen you drive the road many times in the vids perfectly fine. Just a level of uncertainty when the cars low and I don’t know the road 😂
12:23 Did it just SPIT FLAMES THROUGH THE INTAKE MY GUY???!!!
The car its a dream!!!!!
I saw a tiny detail - do these murcielagos always have the 6pot front brake calipers in the back? or did you just put them there?
They are stock Carbon Ceramic LP640 brakes 👍
You guys need to a Larry Chen - Haggerty Collab - with a big drift works event
Have you seen the video when Larry came to visit Driftworks?
@@driftworks I have not! Thanks for the heads up
🔥🔥🔥
Endgegner Murci❤
Great video and such a great car. What is the issue with the 'Wings' being open at speed? Simply stability.
They are like parachutes. They can crack and blow off apparently. But also creates a lot of drag. The standard Murci brings them back down at 110mph and reaches 213mph.
It doesn't need the additional cooling at high speeds...
ie - race car
Who is giving Jay his Sainthood. He deserves it 😂
Because there's a linkage between the two TPS, both end points may be perfect but the linearity between the two isn't perfect.
Jenvey usually is good stuff but you can't beat OEM.
OEM actuators or hacked Bosch or VDO throttle bodies would be better, they have Hall effect TPS and are unbelievably resistant to heat!
Use Tefzel wire, less bulky very resistant to chafing and heat.
We would have loved to use OEM motors. Unfortunately there was absolutely no way we could package it. The Jenveys are so compact.
Thanks lads great video.
Wheres Craig ?
Cheers. He makes an appearance in the next vid, and we've just started filming his new E92 M3 build.
@@driftworks awesome... loving the content.
I still struggle with this massive diffuser… make it foldable with two hydraulic struts so as to be able to tuck that thing under when driving on normal roads…? Too complicated?
What were the melted wires connected to? That looks more like too much current rather than touching a hot engine, might be a good idea to check the settings in the pdm
5v and sensor ground, they’re not connected to the pdm.
@@JayDontGotThis was the damage plug behind the seats a sensor ground? The loose connection could have caused the excess current. Anyway hopefully it’s working now, guess we’ll have to wait till the next episode
Gentlemen, she is beautiful!!!
Cheers 🙏
What is the reason for having the two throttle position sensors? I know the S54 has two as well, but can’t find a reason
It's a redundancy thing as far as I know.
If you are redoing the inlets are secondary injectors an option?
I'm just creating an airbox (when I get the time). What would I want secondary injectors for?
😁👍
Remove the glass on the bonnet carbon roof scoop
It's one of the ideas I've considered. I have a better idea though.
It would be cool to see what it would look like if the wheels were silver
I have a photoshop I did a few years back. It's good, but not as good.
Tefzel wire would be a great option for this one me thinks👌👌
Heat did not melt those wires. Current did
Yep, I agree. We had a gear failure on that throttle motor a while back which would have caused a massive load on the motor. There's a chance the story started there.
Clarkson would name this the MFM. Thanks for sharing this with us!
God that car is so incredibly sexy. Absolutely love it
do two csl carbon airbox on it and cut the rear window for duction
I have an airbox design. I just need to find a way to make it that isn't £5k
@@driftworksIt is probably the most beautiful murci in the world. I am looking forward to the continuation. Greetings from Turkey.✌🏾
That car is sexy ngl
Most long-suffering dyno operator in the world.
I loved the bit out in the car at the end i was really hoping for you to take it to the limit 😍
Tefzel wire + Raychem 25 heat wrap. Use P-clips to route the wires without direct contact on the engine block / heads.
Does Jay want to take on another project please my 1jz s13 just needs to be finished good for the content 😅😂 hahah what’s happening with all of the drift cars ?
He's got enough on his plate here for about 5 years 😂. I have a massive backlog of planned work on the cars, including the three drift cars. Unfortunately, everything requires significant time and money at the moment so it's slow going.
@@driftworks
Hahaha i’m not surprised you two are always busy with cars always look forward to seeing your videos pop up looking forward to a little update video with the drift cars and track cars when the time is right 🫡 any update with Jays Mustang Haven’t seen that in a video since it’s been finished would be good to see it
Up
I'd love to see a ported head and custom cam/valvetrain go into one of these. Make it safer to rev higher, more noise, maybe some fun idle noises too.
crossing fingers
Build a giveaway car, something we can all afford, i drive a ST150 with mods. PLEASE 😅😂😊✌️❤️
“Spaz-handing” 😂
looks soooooooooooo sexy
just so good...automotive p*rn! every time i see videos about this Lamborghini...instant click! it really the same with every video, but these ones are, just so good...
Ceramic coat inner exhaust headers then heat tape wrap them or if used as a car . Driven daily an stuck in traffic for not very long. but a murcy is a murci . An the self destruct temperature decides its its TIME.
