Thank you!! I have been told by several mechanics that I can no longer check my transmission fluid myself on a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. Wow. Why didn't they tell me? Money, money, money$
Thanks! New sub, salute

I knew it was dumb they don’t have one but didn’t wanna drop trans fluid in any tube lol appreciate it
Interesting, after dropping $45k on the vehicle, your required to go out and buy a 'dipstick'...
Must be the manufactures way of selling rebuilt transmissions lol.
Thanks for the video, I can stop looking now.
Very informative on what I saw on the video, but I still don't know how you tell how low it is or how much transmission fluid do you add ??
Please take a look at the links in the video description. We have several videos that should be exactly what you're after. Hope that helps :-)
A neighbor just bought a 2020 caravan and it has a trany dip stick and it's right there for easy access.
Wow, that's interesting. If only they all did, it would make life much easier for everyone!!
None of us can find where we are supposed to check the transmission fluid, no cap no dipstick or anything, 6 of us have looked and non existent in a 2014 dodge grand caravan.
Same @@yfufgdjf272
@@yfufgdjf272 I just went out and found mine in about a minute. It's under / behind the large wiring harness and difficult to see.... probably a foot below the edge of the plastic cover on the engine. I cracked it free with pliers and after that it's about a 1/4 twist. I can do it by hand now that it's loose.
I bought a dipstick, can I leave it installed in the van?
It depends on the dipstick. There are two types available, ones that are designed to be left in, and ones designed to be removed. It should say in the product description where you bought it. Best iof luck!

I can’t find the tube or the cap on my 2019 Can anyone help.
I can't find it on my 2017 SE. Anyone know how to fill? It is not between the battery and the engine. Help!
I am currently looking for mine in my 2017 Dodge grand Caravan SXT cannot find the cap at all
@@kellyemmons961 I figured it out. The tube actually sticks out away from the cover and I was expecting it be on top of the case and not coming out of the case down lower and up the front side.
Can't remove the cap any ideas ?
Yeah doesn't just simply unscrew. Had to use vice grips and basically break it to get it iff
u failed to mention it doesn't just unscrew lol it's extremely tight
Thanks these dealers are thieves
