I like how there is a razer headset in thumbnail and this video is sponsored by razer? But no mention of Razer 🤣
razer bad
I was thinking the same too…
i saw it in the background on the shelf. RIP lmao lets be honest though did they even release one in 2019? im pretty sure the top of the line nari ultimate was 2018
@@not920 Actually Razer has been really good lately. Only thing slacking is their headsets.
@@YuhNinja im using a Kraken 7.1 v2, still no issues after 2 years. Prior to my purchase a lot of reviewers said that the mic was very good. My friends can agree to that.

I liked the Evil Twin format and the video, but I feel like it would have been better with more visual information, listing the specifications you're saying, price and also to separate the categories and microphone names, they help a lot.
Fantastic video. I always love hearing the negatives of stuff because that's how I talk to myself.
I would honestly love to hear your thoughts on the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 V2
I love Evil Twin Dmitry! He’s brutal. “You’re welcome.” 😂
He should give him a special channel ):>
I'll take either one.
Great video, very helpful as I have been looking for a good value gaming headset, best videos I have seen so far in terms of actually helping me.
Love your headphones review as reflect a proper user experience, microphone included. I'd love to hear Dmitry's opinion about the new Creative Sxfi Theater! Thanks for the great video.
The HyperX Cloud Orbit S was one of the most uncomfortable headsets I have ever used. It was digging so deep into the top of my head and I couldn't take it anymore.
Hey, Happy New year. Good luck with your future endeavors and exams.
Yes thank you for this videoooo. Just when Im looking into a premium headset, this video arrived just in time.
Happy to help :) what did you end up buying?

Okay but where is Case awards 2019 like I’ve been waiting for a year
Review the HyperX Cloud Alpha S, there's barely any information about it, but it's an amazingly good headset that should've made it to this list!
agreed.
You guys are the best. I love just watching your videos even if I don't need the item your talking about
You always do such great reviews. You cut out hype and fake enthusiasm and give solid advice & comments. Reviews for grown-ups!
The mic on that Corsair headset is ridiculously good
The timing of this video is perfect, just when my Cloud II started making weird sounds.

@@Thiccyg i think i'll go with steelseries arctic 1's instead, they're much cheaper and have a better mic and are very comfortable
Youre reviews are the most thorough and informative. Do you have a video out for the best sounding wireless headset in 2021? I play games like Warcraft but also Call of Duty so that positional audio is important as great clear sound.
Can you do a review of the headset combo you "built"? Would love to hear the mic quality and hear about the Phillips Headset you recommended
I've had 0 issues with the G Pro X mic sounding bad, with a little tweaking it sounds better(by my friends admissions that thought I upgraded from my Røde podcaster) it also has, by miles and miles the best noise cancellation of any microphone I've tested/modmics/røde/blue and so forth, I can literally not get it to pick up noise other than my voice no matter what I do, no matter how loud it is.
wheres the case of the year awards for 2019?
Have been using the g pros since summer and I love them
Me when I heard the sound for the coolermaster mic 😱 the mic is a scratchy version of ur mic that ur using to make ur videos it's so good
My logitech 900 series is still going strong. Love them.
I'm so glad you listen to us about headsets like the cooler master
Bought based on all the recommendations and returned them. I had open back headset before and going to closed back was not a good move for me. Sound was too muffled, no side tone so speaking through the mic was bizarre since you can't hear yourself talk. Microphone can't be moved out of the way which is annoying on a gaming headset. Leather pads got hot too quickly.
@@ThisIsTheInternet the microphone is flexable and easily removable, could you elaborate?
@@Mark-xw5yt On a lot of headsets you can flip the mic up and away, even though this is flexible it's always just kinda there and removing it every time is a hassle. It's a small annoyance
@@ThisIsTheInternet bruh, obviously an open back is better than a closed back
Ca9ine C0mic exactly. Different league. However, yes... to anyone, I would recommend an open back for gaming.

One thing I found important to mention with the virtuoso is that it has slipstream. Which allows low latency and multiple devices attached to a single dongle. I have my mouse, keyboard and headphones wirelessly attached to a single dongle :)
Dmitri, please review Beyerdynamic MMX 300 GenII.They are consdired THE BEST gaming headset you can buy. Thanks and happy new year!
Thank you for helping me decide on the NEW G PRO (not the 'X' model) - most people seem to be unaware of the new non-X model as if there's some effort to discourage people to choose that over the more well known and more expensive X model.
Is the sound quality same as the G Pro X?
@@gracetodisgrace8518 I don't have a G PRO X to compare it too but the sound is really, really good.

@@kristis3755 It's been over a year since I moved on from the Logitech G Pro headset. Fnatic React seems to Be almost The same as hyperx cloud2
thanks man, almost want to get the pro x.
Since the recommendation seems to be get a regular pair of headphones and a seperate mic and this seems to be a very popular product this year i guess because how many people are streaming I would love to see a desk mic roundup as well. I know you can't go wrong with a blue mic but there seems to be a LOT of new competition in this spece from razer and cooler master and a few others!
Ordered FNATIC React in 2019, it's arriving in 2020!
YungPizzaRoll YT I’ve ordered it. It should’ve arrived but I’m away rn so hopefully it’s as good as they say

Idk it reminds me of hyperx cloud 2.
@GLaDOS ಥ‿ಥ i think he was being sarcastic ?
@@JXHNDRX No it took a decade to arrive.
That Fnatic React looks almost like a carbon copy of the HyperX Cloud II, which was a fantastic headset, so no surprise it's got a nice review.
no mate, it isnt a copy of the cloud 2. at first glance it seems llike it but its only because fnatic uses a familiar frame to save on tooling
Hi Dmitry!
Appreciate your effort on the videos. I have a question for you. One thing you never mention is connectivity: PC/Playstation/Xbox.
Based on your videos, I'm looking for an all-around wireless headset to connect to Pc, Ps AND Xbox. I'm choosing between Logitech G Pro X, Corsair Virtuoso, Hyperx Cloud Flight and Arctis 7 or Pro. What would you suggest? The main criteria is connection to all of the platforms, and the stability of the signal with no sound interruptions and hiccups.
It would also be great to see a 2020 compilation of yours based on universal connectivity, as many people would be switching camps for PS/Xbox but also looking for a headset to connect to both of them and also PC.
I would love to see you guys review the Lucidsound ls50x headphones cause they seem like they would be good but they kinda reach the price point of the steelseries artics pro's wireless
FYI The Fanatic React is 'very similar' to the Monoprice Dark matter gaming headset.
Nvm I realized there’s only one
@@fizzkhas6653 IMHO Sennheiser PC37x is end game.

You slept on Steel Series Wired Arctis Pro with Gamedac.. Amazing mic (I get compliments on), Amazing sound, explosions go off and you can feel the rumble without it destroying your ears. Pair it with dolby atmos. High res audio. You’re welcome.
I am also wondering how they didn't include arctic pro in this list......

I remember in your review of the Corsair Virtuoso headset that the microphone on the non-SE was slightly better. With that in mind, which one of the two would you recommend?
I recently tested a few helmets before finding the right one. The Beyerdynamic MMX 300 V2 is the best for me, the comfort, the sound quality, the bass and the quality of the microphone, everything is there!
I tested the last sennheiser GSP 500/600 which are really excellent, but the only negative and comfort, after several hours of games this bar on the top of the head is really excruciating, even set fully. Then an adjustment of the bass is needed, because too much they cover all the other sounds, for fps games not terrible.
I tested the Astro amp mix to use these headsets, but no bass !!!, even after settings, there is nothing, so I went back to my old internal Asus sound card, and there! I took a slap
Damn, CM H752 is the best deal for me, I am really in love with it's mic!
Is it good for hearing footsteps? Where they come from and etc. I can't choose between the mh752/1 or the Fnatic React
@@eoratinho2218 I do not play fps much, but high frequencies are a bit lowered i think, i increased them and sound became crystal clear as i can judge on my comparison in music,
@@eoratinho2218 also, i can't say which headset is better because I've never tried fnatic one, but directions of hearable sounds/footsteps are pretty understandable

NxMaGiiCz does it connect to Xbox
@@ryder8378 Yeah it has a 3.5mm jack which plugs into the controller.
Philips SHP9500 + VModa FTW
However with mine I have a lot of game noise bleeding thru the mic due to the open back design. However, it’s super comfortable, has an amazing sound stage, and the mic quality is amazing.
I am totally satisfied with the g pro x. Have you even bothered loocking at the settings? You can get awesome audio quality from even the normal presets and as a stage sound engineer by training I have gotten impressive results with the tools.
Can you share a decent preset for the mic / sound ?
@@vali2624 that's a catch 22 question. Depending on voice type you want different things. If none of the presets sound good to you, try going with a fresh default setting and tweak the numbers slowly.
Did your headset break yet? Logitech reviews all say they break easily. How is it now? Or if you switched already, what made you do it?
@@clientaccount7166 I switched to a Corsair Virtuoso RGB SE because it is wireless and has microphone quality matching, if not exceeding the G Pro. I do however still use the G Pro for work calls, as it has superior ambient noise shielding (both are close backed, but the G Pro dampens more) and I don't move that much at work.
I'm surprised they didn't nominate steel serries wireless headphone.
I got some Arctis 3, they are fantastic for the price
I love your headset review video.
ive been using the turtlebeach atlas aero wirless, and i am actually very surprised on how they sound. it doesnt hurt that i only paid 89 dollars on sale at bestbuy, for that price they are fantastic recommendation.

I surprised how good g pro headset are very clear sound with nise mixer . Just perfect 👌
odd to not see the steel series arctis pro wireless as they're almost 0 compromise
price point i think would be the main issue. they are the most expensive of all... unfortunately they are also my favorite but for a difference of 150 € I would probably go to the corsair hs70 wireless SE
I had them, loved the swapable battery feature and they were comfortable, even more with the leather cushions BUT i compared them to the virtuoso se and tested it with 2 friends. Short answer is: the steelseries sound bad, I mean they dont sound like shit but they have no punch they lack some depth and in comparsion with other headsets they arent worth their price. The main problem I an dmany others have with wireless headsets is the low static noise you get, not everyone hears it for example my gf but I and my friend hear it ever so slightly especially if you listen to music on low sound settings or while ideling on the desktop. The virtuoso se is still really really good and the mic sounds really nice in discord, its better than the non se version trust me. If you look for wireless go for them and if not go for the g pro x YES the x because you will hear the difference with blue voice, sounds incredible, better than most stand mics in fact, my friend got it and for 99 euros its really good and comfortable, idk what dimitri does but he almost lways screws up his mic comparsions.. just watch some other reviews and you will see
Damn, and I wanted for Steelseries Arctis Pro to appear in this vid
Hello. It was a nice review. Keep up the good work.
I have a question for you. Have you tried the headsets from Steelseries? If you have, which one is better: Arctis 1 or this? I wouldn't go further on Arctis models, because both g4 te and arctis 1 falls in the same price range. Thank you.
@HardwareCanucks if you had to choose between the Logitech G Pro or the Fnatic React which would it be? I predominantly play FPS and MOBA games. love the videos man thanks for the awesome content
I still love my Sennheiser Game One headset, best pair I’ve ever owned 😁
@bratuul I completely agree haha. They're so light, and the clamping force is just right, i can wear them for hours no problem. And they vent the heat so no hot ears
they were ok at first, they grew ALOT on me love em now. Had a shitty $200 razer headset before, I think the quality shock was so immense I couldn't process it at first.
Ya i absolutky adore my game zero should i do a meme reveiw??? Also i suck at typing
Game one's are amazing, had mine for 3 years now and the mic lift to mute has broken ):
Same here but i feel like they aren’t that good for cod maybe cause its open back idk
For me, I do like my Arctis PRO Wireless
Great headset video as always.
There needs to be a big head section for this. Honestly after trying a few headsets and headaches I went witht the akg k7xx
Headphones severely disappointed me this year. 😑 I thought the Corsair virtuoso would be the best, but when trying it on, it was so unbelievably uncomfortable it blew my mind. It felt like a $10 pair from Walgreens. If it was shaped like the Logitech Pro it would be the best headset ever. No exaggeration.
One day Chris Pratt will make cameo in Hardware Canucks...
Love my CORSAIR, after endless problems with numerous pairs of @Razer Nari headphones - with Razer USBs forever going wrong - I’ve had many months perfect use of my @Corsair Virtuoso and love them.
I just made the switch from a Phillips SHP9500 w/ blue yeti, to the Logitech G Pro X w/ Blue yeti. Loved the Phillips but they were too open for Cod, difficult to really dial in where people were.
Astros? Steele series arctis pros? Not sure I can get behind some of these recommendations.
bratuul for FPS positional sound Astro’s are one of the best in the industry for their 7.1 surround drivers. It’s why they’re used so much in esports. The steel series arctic 9 has Bluetooth in addition for the most versatile headset for those who can use both. I wouldn’t casually pass checking these out if shopping.
@@gryphon123456 they have virtual surround sound right?
@@gryphon123456 they are used in esports because of sponsors, they are terrible fps games because they arent clear at all, they are the beats of the gaming world.
bratuul I switched to astros a few generations ago and I’m not sponsored. I tried a few and they could sound “ok” but the clarity and positioning of Astro’s were excellent. Loved them and using them ever since. Highly recommended.
I’m open to others but I can tell you first hand the A50s are top 5 for sure.
@@gryphon123456 top 5 maybe in the xbox 360 era, now they are useless and are a complete waste of money, their wireless headphones are much worse than other options, and their wired variants arent even top 15.

This guy gets me thirsty everytime. Also you convinsed me to buy the Logitech G Pro's. Cheers!
Off the mark on the g pro vs pro x. The blue mic makes it sound way better, not worse. I’ve tried playing without blue voice enabled and with it and everyone I play with 110% agree it sounds way better with blue enabled. Not only that but tuning it myself and being able to hear myself through a mic test, I personally think it makes my voice sound better. Not sure why you think it makes it worse. Maybe try a head to head mic comparison if you really think it’s so bad
Best gaming headset: an actual non gaming headphone with a separate mic.
X4 Gaming actually not true...
Augsburgerjung1986 well for the same price of a headset you can most likely get a headphone equivalent that it’s better in sound quality. Yes it’s more of a hassle as you would need a separate mic.
@@user-oc2cw9wm4d While non gaming headset plus mic is ideal quality wise (for the most part), it's twice or three times as expensive (even more if we are talking wireless) as getting a headset that does both and it obviously doubles the amount of devices (and cables/things to charge etc.). Then there is also the matter of fine tuning - most non gaming headsets are made for multimedia consumption and not gaming therefore they do not favor what gaming sound might consider important (extra punchy bass or directional sound etc.) so they can actually provide worse experience (in some ultra high end cases even make you hear things you are not supposed to). In the end, it is best to use dedicated things for dedicated purposes - much like how most serious RUclipsrs tend to do anyways.
@ sorry to break it to you ,but a good open back headphone from the likes of sennheiser, akg etc.easily beat any gaming headset for fidelity and directional sense. There is no such thing as "fine tuned for
gaming",just marketing bullcrap. But I will agree it's more expensive, so if budget is a concern then go for gaming headsets
@ Umm the philips open back headset the talked about is only about 60 to 80 bucks and the genius idea the vmoda mic is that it replaces the cord going into that headset. The fact that the philips headset is open back means that it has better directional cues than headsets that are not open back. Though if you do want wireless gaming headset than well yes that is still bit of a shit show.
