Great comparison but you mentioned in the video that the Arctics Nova 7s will only work with the switch when it’s docked…that’s not the case. It comes with a usb type c dongle so you can plug it in when playing handheld. It’s also bluetooth so you could always pair it and play held held that way as well.
Wow, coming from an older Mod mic (one of the microphones you attach to the side of regular headphones) I'm really surprised how bad the audio sounds on the microphones for everything except the Razer headset. I didn't know the mod mic was, relatively, that good. I wish these gaming companies would put a little more work into the microphones on these headsets. Thanks for the informative video and the sound tests!
Can't recommend Astro A30 wireless headset. Great headset as far as quality and fit. Poor quality (probably broken) wireless transmitter (dongle). I just requested a return to Amazon after the Astro was wonky from the get-go and less than two weeks after I received it the dongle stopped working (connecting) altogether. Incidentally I Googled the problem and I'm not the only one to experience it. Amazon sells a compatible dongle for $30 but that headset was plenty pricey, and I should have had no malfunctions or at least gotten timely response from Logitech. I did try to contact Logitech (who apparently has taken over the Astro brand) using both the online chat feature "24/7 help" and phone support. No one ever answered the chat request (30 mins I waited) and twice I tried calling the Logitech support number. I jumped through the AI hoops; was told by a "robot" that I'd be connected to a support person for assistance and then the line went "dead." Nothing. Both times. No one ever responded and there were no further automated responses to explain what was happening. That was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I would recommend the Epos H3 pro hybrid because they are on sale for less than $120 and they are a $280 headset. They sound better than the SteelSeries Nova 7. The only problem with the Epos H3 pro hybrid is they don’t have good 7.1 surround sound but no wireless gaming headset has good 7.1 surround sound. To get good 7.1 surround sound and not be surrounded by real speakers you have to get a good wired headset and pair it with a aftermarket Stereo / 7.1 USB sound card like the Roccat Juke 7.1
Thanks so much for this video! I've been looking for some good wieless headphones and always finding several with only a few of the features I want. Definitely going for the number 1 Logitech headset!
How much better are the 2023 Razer Blackshark V2 Pro then the earlier model? - unsure if it's worth getting the earlier model, cause it's over $100 US dollars cheaper than the 2023 model. Would love your input!
I just bought my HyperX Cloud Alphas for $152 dollars and they're totally worth it... I wanted it so much (and if you're wondering, I actually had the wired version before lol and the cable was a little annoying but the battery life is literally incredible) Also if you buy the upgraded version of the ear cushions, I would put it on number 1 spot for comfort ngl because it's soo good)
Thx so much for those in depth comparisons, I've used 3 of headsets on the list and have been trying to find the next pair the was a lvl up from those. The Astro a30's were the perfect fit, simultaneous bluetooth connectivity with some of the best audio fidelity, all the things I want In a headset.
Thank you for this. I game and work from home and I have a series7 (returned four new before landing on one that worked well enough). I'm looking to replace for Black friday because the mic always cuts out especially when my voice is higher pitch. And the strap over time stretches, now it kinda just hangs on my ears. Also the wiring seems to be messy when I wiggle the headset it beeps on and off. It stays on a specific spot on my desk and never has been dropped. Was very dissapointed due to the fact that I like steelseries normally. Razor seems to be the way to go for me this time.
Would appreciate it more if you would make the mic test from them all at the end of the video again, because after such a long video im looking for all the mic tests again. But yeah now i have to decide between the razer black shark and corsair hs80
I just bought the G pro max x2 and i love em, sry dint use link, had to have em right now, so went to my local best buy. There at another level, so you earned my subscription.

Thanks for sharing this info on wireless headsets, definitely needed this cause I need new ones plus now I want it to be wireless because my old ones are wired headsets 😊😊😊
Does that meant Logitech G Pro X 2 is better than Razer BlackShark V2 PRO? I ordered Logitech G Pro X 2, but wants to switch to Razer BlackShark V2 PRO since another youtuber said Razer BlackShark V2 PRO is overall better than Logitech G Pro X 2.
Don't mindlesly follow what others say. Compare them yourself. Main difference between them is microphone. Blackshark v2 2023 has really good microphone. Logitech has average microphone.

how would the HyperX cloud 3 be higher on list then the Razor 2023.. I own both. I no category is it better. The razor has superior sound superior Microphone. Better comfort. I bought a Cloud 3 to replace my Razor 2023. As I broke it. Now i am looking at buying another Razor. Stuck with the Cloud 3. The Razor by far has the Best microphone on a Headset for 2023. It is the closest you can get to a standalone Mic on a headset I have ever seen. My only suggestion from experience is Use Duct tape or something else to reinforce the Plastic the cup rails go into. If you rough on your headset. My old set work great still with the the fact that crumbled on me. I tend to be rough on headsets. if your looking for a list of durability this list is right. If you looking for best performing headset well rounded. Razor all the way. The microphone and comfort alone put it in another class. Pleather=junk. it cause ear issues as it prevent moisture from escaping your ears. I used to think it was best. Until i got my first Blackshark. I wear my headset average 8-16 hours in a day gaming listening to music and watching movie.
I bought a pair of a50s wireless and loved them until they bricked on me. Then i bought another pair and had the same problem im happy the 50s didnt make it on this list i believe the charging dock is the cause of the issues and that its not a plug in play with a dongle you need the charging dock which is pretty upsetting
Yes, reason why I’m currently looking for a new headset. My first pair kept cutting out. I got ahold of tech support and they sent me a new pair being under warranty still. And the new pair does the same shit.
I really wanna get the G Pro X's but my only main issue is the clasp they use that holds the cables and is also the guide to slide for adjustments. I am on pair number 2 from the things cracking and breaking at the same, point the little plastic clasp. Might just be user error from how I always take my headphones off when someone comes in to talk to me. But still wish they would use something more durable or metal at least. Clearly a weak point that I would like to hope they addressed in the G Pro X wireless'. Other than that one glaring flaw to me they are some of the most comfortable headphones ive ever wore. Only time I ever had them bother my ears was from a super long and admittedly unhealthy gaming shesh thats not going to be to common for an average user. Thinking of just going with the Astro version and trying the different design of band since I see it doesnt have that damn clasp the G Pros use lol
i had a problem with the logitech g733 rubbing the tops of my ears and the audio driver itself pressing into my lobe making me uncertain if i should try the logitech x2. not sure if you had these problems but would love to hear your experience. they seem to have the same form factor and thickness in the ear cup

using logitech g935, never buy them, 6 month and on and off button start fooling, changed to new set 6 month same problem, next week changing to something different
Arctis are the worst headsets u can buy. Their extremely uncomfortable, they look atrocious, worst quality sound on the list by far, if u want the sound to be half decent u have to waste at least 2 hours on settings themselves plus horrible app they use and reset settings after every update, u have to have app open most of the time and trash mic really wouldn't recommend any steel series headset tbh.
I loved everything about the G Pro X2’s, except the microphone. The mic was so bad I could not recommend that headset. I returned it immediately. Swapped over to an EPOS H6Pro which has superb sound (for me at least, I’m not an audiophile by any means) and just paired it with my Shure SM7B mic.
@@thepatrizioshow3246 haha no I had my Shure mic for a while. Just liked the convenience of a headset mic but realized I spent so much on the SM7B I should probably put it to use as often as I can haha

The only thing stopping from getting the x2 is that I don't like how it looks, Astro looks so nice!
You can't see them on your head while gaming...but you can hear how thrash they sound.
Whether you can or can’t see it doesn’t matter. People can’t see their hair usually throughout the day, but most still want it to look nice

how are these Headsets in comparison to Music?
What monitor are you using?
Are these wireless headsets compatible with the GoXLR?
Very comprehensive review. Gonna sub.
most realest video i have seen
Is there one that does Xbox & ps5 wirelessly ?
Don't buy steel series. Last update ruined them. Just trashed mine.
Why is the CLOUD 3 Wireless not included??
Buonasera che monitor sta usando? Grazie
I just bought the Logitech x2 pro for my day hopefully it was worth it I’m upgrading from Astro 40s 😂
Hows ur Logitech x2 pro 1month after bro?? Any complains?? Pls reply as I am also contemplating to buy this headphone..
@@slipknot8441 they were so good and comfy as well downside is that I ended up returning them because they are not wireless compatible with the Xbox series x lol so I ended up buying the Logitech Astro 30s light speed which are pretty good so far
@@slipknot8441 I would also like to know, since he came out of an "Astro 40".
3:40 You are saying that black shark has the best mic on headset you ever had or listened to? This line convinced me that you are not a good and experienced reviewer. Sad. Waste of time. (Just have a look at Corsair HS80 wireless, it's mic is just incredible)
I have both the HS80 and the new HS80 Max and the Blackshark still has a far better mic
@@ConsumerTechReviewbut it comes down to sound quality but the others microphones just suck, so if I wanted to record a video I could do it much much better with the Razer.
I heard bad things about Blackshark v2 audio quality 🤔
Where do the Astro a50 fall as of today? I was thinking of getting a pair of those
Don’t! Waste of 300$ I’ve had 2 pair in the last few months. And they constantly disconnect, cut out etc
@@void-4741 thank you🙏🏼
using logitech g935, never buy them, 6 month and on and off button start fooling, changed to new set 6 month same problem, next week changing to something different
i did buy SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 and i hate it, i've never had such bad headphones, dont recommend it fs, hypercloud ii wireless is way better
Bro you literally read my mind. I was just looking at headsets and thinking, huh what's good right now?
12:29 bug cameo
Consumertechreview becoming Enthusiasttechreview 😂
Arctis nova pro wireless is better than all of those and can use 2.4gz connection and bluetooth simultaneously
The Logitech kept disconnecting I was so upset lol
Shoutout to the gnat at 12:26.
Hs80 max wireless ?
I loved everything about the G Pro X2’s, except the microphone. The mic was so bad I could not recommend that headset. I returned it immediately. Swapped over to an EPOS H6Pro which has superb sound (for me at least, I’m not an audiophile by any means) and just paired it with my Shure SM7B mic.
Returned the headset because it had terrible mic, then bought a dedicated mic anyway 😂😂😂
@@thepatrizioshow3246 haha no I had my Shure mic for a while. Just liked the convenience of a headset mic but realized I spent so much on the SM7B I should probably put it to use as often as I can haha
