I'm not going to be dramatic and say it makes me lose faith in humanity or anything like that, but it does make me angry especially because their form of theft is SO personal that it crosses the line into Bullying and to me that's WAY worse.

This was the PERFECT way to play this scammer. Hopefully this discouraged her.

Awkward moment when you can recognize the scammers language as they speak. As an Indian I’m really very sorry to those who have got scammed. These scammers think that everyone in the west is rich and its morally right to take their money. What they do not understand is how hard people have worked to earn all their money and the westerners are NOT RESPONSIBLE to help the scammers of their poverty.
@@noname-fo3im Depends - in more rural areas there are definitely fewer opportunities, but those in the cities have little excuse. I used to visit Delhi regularly for work before Covid and actually work in the call center industry. The Gurgaon area is a huge tech hub that's growing at an insane pace and has tons of legit call center work for all the global tech companies. But unfortunately, nestled right in between the legit places are lots and lots of scam operations. Everyone I know from work there is fully aware of which places are legit and which places are scams, and all know of people who work at them. These places do use deceptive tactics to convince people to start there, but I don't think there's any good excuse to stay once you realize what it really is. Legit call center work can be tough, and I think alot of these people just feel like it's easier to stay at a place like this.
@@noname-fo3im with the casteing in india it's really difficult for people born in poverty to get out of poverty, especially in rural areas, so I understand that in scammers minds, it's so much easier to scam the "rich westerners" than get an actual job to try and climb the ranks like others in india try to do, but at the same time, resorting to stealing from old people instead of trying literally anything else is a really scummy thing to do. and it's not just in india, in every country people who don't want to try to get out of poverty will resort to scamming and stealing, but it's a short term gain, not a long term one, and actually ends up hurting them more. especially in scam call centres and pyramid schemes, the ones at the very top get the most money and the bottom "workers" get the scraps.

That was such an important wake up call for people who think 'oh bet she's actually a sweet angel who's simply lost her way' the moment they hear a girl's voice on a scammer.
Trust me, everyone knew she was from India and we don't even speak your language lmao

"i dont want 100 dollars"
beggars can't be choosers but scammers can apparently
"I can give you a 100$ Card if you want"
"No, I want 500"
Holy shit. So scammers can be choosers, as Granny would say. Remember, that in this fake world, it's just a free gift from Grandma.
500 bucks is their payday
It got worse she asked for a grand
His voice acting (I know it’s a voice changer) is excellent. His inflections create such verisimilitude I would 100% believe it was an old lady if I got them on a call
I had never heard of that word in my life until I read this comment
These people are pure evil. They really have convinced themselves that the people they are robbing deserve it, and they feel so bad for themselves when they are not able to victimize them.
They’re not evil. They’re desperate for work and they don’t care about people halfway across the world when they’re worried how they’ll provide for their families.
Not so different from most people. How many atrocities do we ignore and benefit from just because they’re happening on the other side of the world.
I’m not defending them, they’re doing bad things. But they aren’t evil. They’re just people.
@@Dr.E7HER Yeah, they are evil. They chose to do this.
@@Dr.E7HER If people do evil things that makes them evil wtf
@@iub.9893 People can be evil.
It’s actually a trait unique to humans (as far as we know). They’re still people though. Any one could have ended up in their position if born and raised under the right conditions.
@@Dr.E7HER So you admit they are evil, good.
