The average Indian scam call centre pays their employees about $200 per month base salary. The rest is through commission. The scam centres tend to pay 1/50th commission to their employees for every successful scam. Thus, if you worked in one of those call centres and scammed someone out of $5,000 dollars, you'd take home $100 in commission. Commission means an individual scammer can quadruple their base pay or earn more than $1,500 per month. Might not sound a lot in the west but this is an extremely good wage in India and that's why scam centres are so prevalent.

I always like to compare how apathetic the scammer sounds when they accidentally send too much money vs the absolute frantic desperation they have when you redeem the cards. If they sounded more like that when they transfer the money, they would be much more convincing.

Scammers almost tricked my 80 year old grandmother pretending I was in jail... She was told to buy gift cards for my bail money, but fortunately called my brother first to see if he knew I was in jail.

I think Kit was discussing excuses with a scammer that he would tell the bank people about why he was pulling out so much money. One of them of course being just "Thai Restaurant" I'm explaining this because I feel that joke is too obscure for people to understand.

Maybe that's why they're so desperate, if they don't scam you, they don't get any bonus money. The problem is, these guys are not really trained to do anything but stick to the script. They get tunnel vision going after the prize.
A real reveal to the scammers would be if before opening the bank again, he zeroed all the accounts to make the scammer's claim real. He would then know for sure he is up against a pro.
What infuriates me much more is when Kitboga asks them a question about the state they're in, and they clearly have no idea about it at all, and then he just says "ok" and lets it go. I understand he doesnt want to scare them off, but I wish he pressed them some more.
You need to team up with Kitboga as the background conversations would add some context, a few people understand the expletives if they have Hindi speaking friends but I'm sure the general background chat adds an real insight into the minds of these criminals.

I caught a livestream a month or so ago. One of the scammers recognized Kitboga and all his scammer friends gathered around the phone to tell him how much they loved this channel. The Santa guy was there and asked if Kit remembered him. Did the voice again and everything. Kinda sad how they all acted as if he was their friend or something.
They are trying to appease the god so that he may be merciful on them in the future. Every week they will send a sacrifice to him, an innocent scammer who’s on his first case so that Kit may spare the rest
To be fair, I'm sure many of them aren't truly bad people and find their way out eventually. A lot of the companies are pretty brutal to the employees too so I imagine some like to see them getting taken down.
Kitboga, Staggering the timing of the code redemptions, adding banter between them, was a great idea. It looks less scripted that way and adds a lot of tension to the scammer as he thinks he might be able to get the remaining cards.

And I'm pretty sure he does report them if it's possible. If you're looking for more in-your-face karmic payback, I believe ScammerRevolts is who you're looking for. He fucks with their computers, but he's less entertaining (imo).
As far as your aversion to how this guy looks for some reason, I can't help you there, that's a you problem. I personally have a very hard time being offended by how someone looks, and I find people who are easily offended by looks vain, to be blunt. Have a good one.

One of them of course being just "Thai Restaurant"

I caught a livestream a month or so ago. One of the scammers recognized Kitboga and all his scammer friends gathered around the phone to tell him how much they loved this channel.
The Santa guy was there and asked if Kit remembered him. Did the voice again and everything.
Kinda sad how they all acted as if he was their friend or something.

Staggering the timing of the code redemptions, adding banter between them, was a great idea. It looks less scripted that way and adds a lot of tension to the scammer as he thinks he might be able to get the remaining cards.

@Bill Williams A lot of elderly people who aren't familiar with technology and computers get targeted. You might call them stupid but it's hard for them to keep up when you get old and you should cut them some slack.

@@fibbintiggins2858 and widows when they are vulnerable. They tried on me just after my husband died. I'm not stupid but was grieving and not aware of what people were capable then. I was smart and broke enough not to fall for it. People always assume if you fall for something that you're stupid. There are circumstances beyond people's control.
