Just purchased the C6 tide. I like the watch, It feels right on my wrist. The bezel will be turned occasionally as I have no intention to use it for diving. I suspect people buy watches because they like the look of them, not because the bezel has a quiet or a loud turn. if you’re going to pay at least 8500 more for a time peace, I would be expecting it to be perfect.

@@Clubbow5 Congratulations on the purchase. I believe those are only in the 42mm, I have no doubt it will fit as well as my 40mm. They fit so good!! Absolutely you buy a watch for aesthetics and how it fits. The fact that CW’s have a great bezel in my opinion is an added bonus. I’d guess it’s a very large majority that don’t use these watches for actual diving but always reassuring that if it can take that pressure of 30 atmospheres it’s a robust watch and will survive our 8 hours at the desk. Lol … Enjoy, great looking watch!!

How do you feel about the painted logo instead of applied?

Yes since I got mine almost a year ago they have added the applied twin flag logo to the Trident. I also do have a 40mm “12” that has the applied logo and I do like it better. But hardly a deal breaker…. CW is great like that, where they update and improve their watches during the same reference run. I just recently noticed that the whole Trident line seems to now have it.

You looked like you were having trouble turning the rolex bezel,
The cw is Alot better than the much older rolex.
And the reason for the quietness of the rolex is that their is a small aluminium ball bearing underneath the bezal at the twelve o'clock.
The cw has a ceramic ball to stop wear and tear over time hence sounds louder. All the best Andrew

@@Andy-ys8sj Thanks for that info! I thought it was funny that you can hear more of the infamous older Rolex bracelet jingle than the bezel click when I was turning the Subs bezel. So I guess I’m not crazy thinking the CW compares quite well to the Rolex.

@@RSSpec the quality of cnc milling machines these days are far superior to ones used 15_20 years that the neo vintage rolex.
The bracelet, clasp case and bezel will be as good if not better in a £1000 modern watch than the older piece you showed,
I'd say that the only thing that is better apart from the classic design of the rolex is the movement, also the rolex was about £4000, 15_20 years ago.
But thanks for the reply and I enjoyed your content all the best from the 🇬🇧.

@@Andy-ys8sj Thanks!.. Oh I get you about the quality in the bracelet and clasps these days is way better. My CW bracelets are way better than vintage Rolex. But in all the years I’ve owned a Rolex I don’t ever remembering that I looked at those pre 2010 bracelets and thought to myself that they were cheap. In comparison the new ones are better no doubt but I was never failed by the old school ones and they are definitely lighter. The jingle is part of the charm too!! lol … Again Thanks!
