Probably the highest profile character youll ever cover in this entire series, i cant think of a character who hasnt been added who is a bigger character than war machine.
Yeah now that I think about it, they definitely need to slow down with new cards, cause they're gonna start running out of cool characters at this rate!
@@rumncoke76 what you are not excited for the "Superior Foes of Spiderman" season with Boomerang, Big Wheel, The Wall, HydroMan, and The Beetle? Without sarcasm though they could dig into spiderman variants for some fairly popular characters, you could probably do a spiderverse season in line with the movie with things like Peni Parker, Noir, Scarlet Spider, Superior Spider, and Spider Punk.
they only have one Antman, i am not sure if it is supposed to be Pym or Scott, but if they ever get the second one that would be bigger than war machine.
They still have a ton of x-men characters too

One thing I've noticed about the various iron suit abilities in snap after WM's release is that they all form a role in supporting the other characters, or at least needing them. Iron Man has no power on his own but doubles what the rest of your characters bring, Iron Heart simply adds power to three other characters, Rescue requires another character to drop in her location to be powerful, and now War Machine is at his best when he's allowing you to play characters you normally couldn't. They all support the board while being under powered themselves.
Same goes for stark tower, shuri and shuris lab. Technology cards are support buff cards. Something I think really works

I loved Nico for a long time, but there were too many games I had in a season where I didn’t get the effect I needed for my hand/deck (like I said, I loved her, she was in most of my decks and I rotate 4 consistently) I knew I was gonna lose if I didn’t just escape, and I always feel so cheap doing that to other players. Definitely had no issues completing daily missions during that time though.
If you ever wanted to give this series a name, if Marvel Snapshot isn't taken we should call it that.

War Machine is, and has been my #1 favorite for decades. Since I was a kid. Joined the military partially because of the influence.
Thank you for covering my favorite character of all time. Can’t get enough of him.
Storm was also a member of The Crew, Rhodey works with Storm to allow characters into the area that she has flooded

I don't have much to say aside from commenting on the MCU stuff you brought up, cause everything else is well done.
I count currently 8 total appearances of Don Cheadle as War Machine (Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Age of Ultron, Civil War, Infinity War, Endgame, Falcon & Winter Soldier, and Secret Invasion).
I do think we could still get Armor Wars and the only reason we've not heard anything about it recently is because of all the delays caused by the strikes and pandemic and the reworking and such. They are starting to get things going again, so I feel like we'll hear something about Armor Wars soon, cause Deadpool 3 releases during Comic Con I believe and Fantastic Four should be close to starting filming by the time D23 rolls around, with everything else that's currently filming and such probably being done filming by then, and we still need to know what's going on with Phase 6, as well as the remainder of Phase 5.
Also, I noticed from at least the part about Rhodey and Carol being a thing for a bit (and yes, I agree the MCU should say what's going on with Carol's love life since they've hinted at romances for Carol with Maria and Valkyrie without actually saying whether they are true or whatever), possibly even earlier than that part, it looks like maybe your cat or something is moving around behind your computer and your chair or whatever.

The suit he has on in the endgame final battle was seen for like a second when ant-man was tiny and going to help Rhodes and rocket. So I’m assuming he just had a spare suit at the compound.
I've kind of quit Snap, but I still enjoy watching these videos. Please keep them coming!
The Marvel Now Iron Patriot run was so cool to me and really evolved the character and got cancelled immediately (and then he got killed)

You should do a "top 5 best and worst card abilities" to talk about some cards that are not brand new, the ones you think were translated well to the game.
My war machine action figure was one of my favorites as a kid.
I think War Machine rolling up on a certain school for gifted students in Westchester in a modified Sentinel done up in his standard paint job has kinda colored my view of him. It was intended to protect the school in that era when Marvel was doing their level best to squash the mutants but man that has gotta be next level uncaring to have Sentinels watching over them. Though I will admit that is probably the only way left to give him a leg up on Tony Stark.

It was already done (as an incredibly minor subplot) in Iron Man 2 (but not really since the alcoholism wasn't even explicitly addressed).
I’ve been waiting for your video to hear your take on his ability in game cause yeah I agree it feels kinda off. It’s odd to me his ability isn’t in any related to other “armor” characters. He doesn’t add power randomly like ironheart, doesn’t gain power like rescue and doesn’t boost power like iron man. I could see it being a last minute change.
I was literally thinking this was Jeff plus X, but I didn’t realize it was reverse Jeff.
Talking about cards which should have other characters abilities, I've always thought Kitty Pryde should have Jeff's ability, makes much more sense, sad she came out after Jeff
I am a huge War Machine fan and i always wondered why Rhodes' military background was changed in the MCU. He was a Marine in the comics, and then the MCU has him in the Air Force. Im sure its because its a different Earth but im curious about the logic. Was it for advertising and branding?
Also, I'm a Marine veteran, so im a bit biased too 😂

it could purely be for the flight control cgi HUD, I suppose. Howard and Tony both had backgrounds in aviation, so maybe the early writing felt like gelling with that?
@MsIvalane that's insightful and makes sense. However, the Marines have fixed wing and rotary air wing component. Colonel Rhodes could have still been a Marine fighter pilot before being elevated to the position of military liaison to Stark Industries in the MCU. I really think the USAF lent their name to the film for publicity. The USMC doesn't give licensing rights to their name as often, they didn't approve it for the current GIJOE toys

The MCU dropped the ball in Ironman 2 with War Machine not being the actual villain because the suit corrupts him. Would have been a way more personal story for Tony.

How long until recasting takes place?.. Don Cheadle imo has never been a great pick for the role also these guys are getting older... Don 59, Robert Downey Jr is the same age. Mahershala Ali who is 50 now has been waiting 5 years and still Marvel is no where near making a blade movie.... SMH all around
I have nothing against older actors, just in the comics they are portrayed as middle aged "30'-40ish"
