It’s funny that Gilgamesh is the least well known eternal amongst Eternal fans to me, because since I grew up with an Avengers character encyclopedia he was the ONLY eternal I knew about other than Sersi

Did anybody enjoy the Eternals film? I didn’t like it. I fell asleep through it when I watched and didn’t care enough to go back and rewatch it.
The lack of a mission for the Eternals is kind of central to their ethos. They're not so much a super team as much as they are a society. I recommend reading Kieron Gillen's incredible Eternal's run with Esad Ribic. One of the best runs on those characters in decades.
Maybe his ability can represent him revealing that he was actually responsible for the physical feats of other characters?
Would have so much better if the Eternals actually forgot their identities and that'd be why they haven't intervened all this while
This is one of my favorite video series on RUclips. I collected the Marvel cards back in the 90s so I know everyone’s names and what they look like, but I never actually read the stories. You really flesh out their characters so well. And I’m a Snap guy so it’s just perfect! Thanks man!
I genuinely don’t remember any character dying in the Eternals movie 😅
it is a little tragic that he is so forgettable in comics and the movie for that matter when the name gilgamesh been used over and over in other media to the point people recognize him, likely even more than cersi, i guess there is just very little you can do with an ethernal so focus on raw strength

I've been going through and watching all these videos recently, since I didn't actually know about them before, and I keep hearing you talk about this most recent Eternals run and for the life of me I thought you were saying Karen Gillan. As in Nebula. So I googled it, and now I know there's a guy named Kieron Gillen! So thanks!
I think the reason they picked Gilgamesh is that he's probably the most recognisable name
I think that the problem with the Eternals cards being based on the movie version is that those costumes works visually well in a movie, but when those same character are drawn they lose a lot of that charm.
