It’s funny how in the first Deadpool as he hunts down “Francis” his organization likely doesn’t know that’s his real name and probably only know him as “Ajax” so Wade spent a lot more time than needed lol.
Just watched again tonight and thought the same thing. Lol
I like the contrast of Ajax gets powered by lowering others but Deadpool gets stronger and gains power by himself. A nice duality. Also it’s very interesting how every new card this month makes under “they are in a Deadpool movie” except Gwenpool(not gonna spectate on that) I kinda wish it was Yukio instead as the season pass.

I've been waiting for this one just to see how much material you actually got out of Ajax and I'm genuinely impressed. Nice job.
I get that he's an absolute nobody in real terms, but because the first thing I ever read with Deadpool in it was the The Circle Chase/Sins of the Past omnibus I'm always surprised to find that Slayback isn't a bigger part of Wade's rogues gallery. Much like Ajax he was seemingly only relevant in a big way for a single storyline though.
Just wanna say thank you for doing these. I love them even being someone who is pretty well read up on the comics. I still learn something new every time or just get a different perspective. Thanks for hard work Nando!

I need to get caught up on all of this Madcap stuff. I first discovered the character back when I was a kid in the mid 80s, due to his inclusion in the Marvel Super Heroes tabletop RPG game, only to learn that his debut was less than a year prior to the game, leading me to believe that they had bigger plans for what was essentially a D-grade villain. They made him more sinister in the 90s in Ghost Rider, and from what little I’ve seen, it appears that some of that menace has carried over to Deadpool.
T-Ray could maybe lock a random card in the opponent's hand to stop it from being played and discarded
I like how he counts himself with his ability, so if you give him -1 he basically negates it, which fits with how he doesn’t feel pain
Also, yes. Nicknames, especially online ones, are hard to shake. I learned this the hard way lol

I gotta say this is the first time I really feel a card should have been a different character this really should have been radioactive man.
I think deadpool focuses on “Francis” because “Fanny” is low hanging fruit. It’s too easy to make fun of someone called “Fanny”. So I think deadpool would be bored of it.
And because it’s so easy, I can imagine Ajax just rolling his eyes at it. Sure, he’d be insulted, but it’s cliche. It’s hard to get under someone’s skin with a cliche.
Madcap card: when this card is destroyed, change the location it was at and regenerate at a random location.

I'd say one of them is the other Deadpool who killed his Marvel Universe, and then the third would have to be Madcap who masqueraded as one of the voices in Deadpool's head.

Yeah he has, I think on a Nando Cut video.
The short version is he said in college there was another Matt/Matthew in his friend group. At some point Nando made a comment about the name Fernando being kinda cool so his friends started calling him Nando as short for Fernando and to differentiate the 2 Matts
