- A muddler is an essential bartending tool used to mash drink ingredients. When using a muddler, ingredients like fruit and herbs are crushed and added to drinks. Typically, ingredients are muddled to create alcoholic beverages, but some non-alcoholic drinks can benefit from muddling as well. Our set comes with a smooth and textured head and is made from Delrin. Delrin is a very hard and durable food safe plastic.

Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. We also do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning. Хобби

Hola Carl, hermosa pieza al igual que la bella madera, saludos cordiales desde Valdivia Chile.
Muchas gracias
Not being a drinker I didn't know about muddlers. So I personally don't have need for a set. However I do know several people who could make use of a set so I can see myself picking up a set or two for gifts. BTW the handle you turned in this demonstration is outstanding. The wood the design and the finish.👍👍 Thank you for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
Thank you so much Glen, have a great weekend! I think they would make great gifts too.
Beautiful Carl, thanks for the info
Thank you!
Thanks 👍
Nice piece. I find the inserts to be very valuable for items that I put in the dishwasher. I can easily remove the handles from the business end of muddlers, pizza cutters, meat tenderizers, etc., prior to tossing them into the dishwasher. I do not use them for stoppers as I never wash them in the dishwasher, just wipe them down after use. Thank you for your neat products.
Thank you James! I really like the ease of the inserts too.
Mine will be here Saturday.
Have fun 😀 I would love to see a picture when you get them done.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
,a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you……
Thank you very much!
@@CarlJacobson Thank you very mutch... have a nice Start of the week.... see you….
Really nice, Carl. That wood is beautiful. I was wondering if you were goin to "Carl" it up some with a basket weave or some sort of texture but the wood was too nice to hide the grain.
Bill
Thank you Bill! Yes to pretty to hide 😀
Hi Carl, great video. Just wondering about the bigger spindle gouge in the video, it isn’t linked in the description. Is that a shallow gouge from Thompson, or just a regular spindle gouge? What size? Thanks! - Nate
Oops sorry, it's a 5/8" regular spindle gouge.
Nice Carl beautiful of wood! How do you like the Robust Lathe? I'd like to get one but they cost a lot and I never sell anything I make lol but I hear they are nice and built in the USA!
Thank you! They are expensive but worth it, and yes made in the USA.
Hi Carl. I’m fairly sure that I’ve watched all of your videos at least 10 times by now. I’m curious, is the wood that you use for these types of projects…Stabilized?
Thank you very much!! No most of the wood I turn is not stabilized.
Since, unlike a bottle opener, a muddler is submerged in a drink, is there such a thing as food grade epoxy or food grade CA glue?
Generally you want to muddle your herbs or fruit before you add the liquid ingredients. I believe resin is food safe after it completely cures though. I have no idea if CA glue is food safe or not.
