Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodworking, ties it all together. We also do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.

Carl, that’s a beautiful piece, I enjoy your videos and you are a master at your craft. I believe that’s a sweet, 16 robust lathe, I bought one about two years ago and haven’t had a chance to use it much, but I plan to this winter. I’ve been around machinery in all shapes and sizes my whole life, and I can tell you one thing the quality that went into that lathe is amazing.
