Only occasionally I wear ties anymore. At 70 and retired from the business world I just have no need to. I needed a refresher course on the Windsor knot. You brought it all back to me once again. I'm watching in the U.S..
Hello again from El Paso, TX! This is my reference video when i need a refressher on how to tie a double windsor. Thank you for helping out a guy who never had much cause to wear a tie and zero idea how to tie one for the first 50 years of my life.
Holy balls I watched like 6, maybe more "how to" vids before I found him and he got me to get it done PERFECTLY on my first try!!! Cheers to you, good sir, from Jersey!!!
I love all your knot tutorials. You do make it look easy and make knots doable. I always like to get the biggest screen by having the phone sideways. You don’t have your fingers in the way so this make it more understandable. Thank you for the best and all the knot explanations one could ever need. Cheers from San Francisco.
Cheers from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Brilliant video. I used to have this knot in muscle memory but I've probably worn a tie fewer than five times in the last fifteen years.
First video I’ve ever watched where I was able to follow along and tie a tie. Took two tries but really appreciate the video!!! Also, watching from Alaska in the US.
Thank you for this tutorial. I’m a single mom of a son who’s starting private school at Bishop Dunne in Dallas, Texas. He has to wear a suit and tie daily. I’ll practice on myself to teach him how to do it
Hi, I'm in USA. Thank you for that demonstration. It was very helpful. I'm going to a wedding Saturday and just want to get an early start on this so I can practice. Take care :)
Thank you. I used to have to do a full Windsor WVERY SINGLE DAY for my job as a waitress, and I NEVER FATHOMED that I could forget. I mean, you didnt just "refresh my memory" you full on re-taught me how to do this!!! I cannot thank you enough! You were very clear and concise whilst delivering the instructions and, even though I'll probably never NEED to know how to tie any other tie-in any other way, your professionalism and superb teaching abilities gained you a like (of course)- but a sub. I am now going to make it a point to, at least twice weekly, learn how to tie a new knot. Thank you, my friend. **just to add, I watched 6 "how to tie a tie" videos before yours, and I had to stop and smoke a cigarette I got so frustrated. You made a difference in this woman's life and I am sincerely thankful. Have a great weekend, and if you celebrate- a Happy Easter!
Hey... I just turned 50 a few weeks ago and never had much reason to wear a tie. I think I've owned around 4 my entire life. During pandemic I had to learn more of the administrative side of my work and our supervisor commented that our department always looked like we'd just gotten out of a workout (which wasn't too far from the truth) so we all needed to be more presentable... as the only male that meant my wearing a tie more regularly. This video has helped me out immensely!
Thanks. It has been a long time since I needed to wear a tie. But tonight I am escorting my 8 year old granddaughter to her primary school dance. You removed the stress of relearning this skill. Cheers from Aston, Pennsylvania.
Thank you from the U.S., Massachusetts! Bravo my brother on the tie knots. You made some nice videos for the tie knots I often use. Much appreciated sir.
Nailed it, first try on my wedding day! Always been doing the half-Windsor because I couldn’t get this quite right. Thanks for having the brain to do this in the mirror! A Madison, WI groom says thanks!
I have watched a bunch of Windsor videos, and this is the best I have found. Not certain I’m getting it 100% right… but it’s close! The only thing that concerns me about this knot is that most ties are too small for me. I am 6’3” and even with a half Windsor, many ties are too short and the length issue is even more pronounced with this knot. Need longer ties!!!!
Thank you, my dad was the master of this but he is gone and I've forgotten over the years. From Iowa, USA.
So pleased I could step in and help!
Only occasionally I wear ties anymore. At 70 and retired from the business world I just have no need to. I needed a refresher course on the Windsor knot. You brought it all back to me once again. I'm watching in the U.S..
That’s great. Glad I could help
