Unless you wear a tie everyday, it's not necessary to know.
Or get a clip on. Those are safer anyways

No worries about it mate, I've just discovered that I don't know everything. I've started a new job and we have to use a tie. I never thought about using a tie or how to tie it up. After many years as a carpenter and also, maintenance service in a hotel,I got the job of the front desk in this very place. So I must look elegant in the eyes of the guests.

All my life I've been getting it sliding one angle or another.. Now able to do it neatly and correctly. Thank you so much for this! I will use it for an event later today.

Watched your video in Davidson, NC ( 30 minutes north of Charlotte) on my wedding day. I had never tied a Windsor knot before but with your brilliant video it was success on the first attempt.🙏🙏🙏

Beautiful. I've been doing the tie for my husband, son, son-in-law and you name him, for years and years. Now, they will be shown this video AND they better get the hang of it !

I'm watching from a little town in Western Massachusetts called Whately. My dad was a lefty, and it turns out that every knot I tie - shoes, necktie, bowtie - are all tied lefty, as that's what he taught me (I didn't even know this until my partner pointed it out to me in my 50s!). Unfortunately, he never taught me the Full Windsor knot. I'm not sure he even knew it himself, or if he just abandoned it by the 1970s because the ties were so wide, and the fabric so thick. I'm very short and after a large weight loss, fairly thin, so some ties are just too long to wear. I'm hoping that a Full Windsor will mitigate that.
This video is perfect for a lefty to follow (even though I'm a righty). Thank you so much! Unlike my peers, I enjoy wearing ties. I think it keeps my head on straight...

Watching from Manitoba, Canada. Even though I still struggle as I don't wear ties very often, you guys are always my go-to video. You explain thoroughly, and I end up managing it every time. Thank you very much!
