I get my split ends trimmed every 2 months and I use excellent hair care products so that my hair is healthy and grows fast and long. Yes, my hair is Grey but I still have my hair. My natural hair color is Blonde.
If you consider the condition of any personal item that's 10 years old...daily usage...environmental conditions...washing...etc. Then you appreciate the magical hair condition that you are able to maintain.
The hair goes everywhere with you, you sleep with it drive with it travel with it shop with it. It’s not like you can put it in a box. It rubs on your clothing. It hits the back of a chair when you’re sitting it goes under hats, scarves, winter spring summer, and fall different humidityand temperatures. And then the combing the brushing the knots, the hair products, the twisting the braiding, etc., but it is time for a big trim.

I am vegan now and stopped using any animal based materials like boar bristle. I stay away from leather,feathers etc. i do use coconut oil on the length.i use a tangle teezer brush now. I am an ethical 🌱 vegan for 6 years.

Not losing length, it grows very fast. I have gone through shedding phases where it thins out. This was due to too much stress in my life. I have not eaten meat since 1996 but did have dairy up to 2017 then i quit all animal foods. My hair is built on life, not on dead flesh.
