I install mine. Works fine. No bubbles. Overspill from the glue can be removed before using the uv light. Fingerprint is working just as good as before. 😊 I'm a happy customer.

@@GrandTheftAuto6_2025It's fine. A bubbles at the top and bottom at the edges aren't biggest than before - it's a bit visible (about 1 milimeter wide) but I don't mind ;) And I will definitely buy another this UV glass when this becomes damaged.
Also I've noticed that it doesn't draw so much which is a big plus for me!
Oh and by the way the smartphone works awesome - as fast as when I booted it first time! :)

I think it's worth mentioning to wipe out the excess glue that spills on the edges of the screen before curing it because one you cure it wiping it once it's solid leaves really ugly ripped marks in the edges of the protector
This happened to me aswell as i didn't wipe the excess glue before curing with UV and it looks a bit messy at the edges. Also solid glue at edges makes it more vulnerable as it can go off more easily.
So I've just recieved mine and ofc i opened it immediatly.
Installation was going well, altho i've been sweating after reading how often some of the adhesive gets into the upper speakers.
Everything was going great, altho the sticker on the glass didnt pull off the plasticfoil and one of the lamps of the uv lamp did not work.
I had to lift the glass a few times to get rid of bubbles and as long as i lifted it straight up i could just place it again after removing the bubbles.
No adhesive even touched the speaker and im not having any air bubbles beneath the glass.
The adhesive leaked on the left side of the phone and some is sticking out below the glass, its removable but hard to do so.
Worth the money i'd say and easy to install, even for the first time.

before installing take time to cover all holes,use the sticker provided or even use tapes to secure all sensitive areas...they did not include it in the instruction and video tutorial so i did it on my own. and it came out perfect. don't rush the process clean well. i guess they should provide more detailed video for new costumers specially in covering all sensitive areas for the glue not to get in.

You're right, doing it by yourself is one thing, doing behind a camera is another. We where a little to fast with the UV light. When installing make sure you give the adhesive time to flow in all spaces.

I've done this Mocolo installation on my OP7Pro. Totaly worth the £16 i paid for it. Just be carefull not getting glue in the speakergrill (can be a bit tricky to get the tape to stick on such smal area) or on the sides.
Yeah its one of the most important steps, you could fix this but you have to open up your OnePlus and is not recommended. When fitted properly its the best you can get for this money.
I use it for my oneplus 8 pro. It is perfect!! There are no bubbles its like the white stone dome glass but its more cheaper. Its secret: you have to use better uv lamp (I use my girlfriend's nail lamp) and you have to cure it during 20 sec and after 2x 1 minutes!! If you use the original uv like here, I think it wont be good.
Make sure you put stickers on the speaker or else it'll be completely filled up and blocked with glue. And the buttons and holes etc
If you get a bubble before you cure the glue you can actually egt rid of it I got rid of the most catastrophic looking cluster of bubbles I had. I couldn't believe they were gone. All I did is I was pushed them out just like you would om a normal sticker screen protector. The traditional way. Pressing on the screen and moving behind the bubble till it leaves. I got glue all over the place. Everywherrrrrrrre.

Just a heads up for anyone doing this, make sure you level out your phone because of the new camera bumps. I did this on my OnePlus 12 and forgot about the big camera bump unleveling the glue but I managed to save it by plugging in my charger to the phone and using a small screwdriver to lift up from the port.

I have had this on my 7 pro for a couple weeks now. Works flawlessly, was easy to install. So far im happy with it, my only concern is how to get it off if needed. I have had zero case issues neither so far.
Don't worry about getting it off we tested this. You'll be left with a spotless display!

The question can this even be removed if broken or scratched?? My understanding is UV adhesive becomes solid when it dries (but this adhesive takes a second under UV light to dry not 4 minutes )
They can be removed I used 2 white stone dome glass screen protectors with UV adhesive and removed the first one which got a lot of scratches just by peeling it very slowly and installed the second one after whipping the screen real good.
This glue is junk. It's barely on. This glue also dissolve in water. But you can't wash it off and try again. Glass is so fragile that it will crack before you have everything removed.

That is not gonna line up right. There is also gonna be webbing under the screen protector after awhile.

All the glues ended up on my clothes and on my desk because of the camera pop up on my 8 pro is too high. I put the glass on the phone with small amounth of glue that I rescued, but with full of bubbles. :( this method is risky with many of problems. Tomorrow I will buy another type of glass. I`m little bit confused.

Yes the resin will cover the scratches. No no bubbles. But its kind of hard to install them

I had to abort the installation to save speaker's grill despite the fact that I had put a sticker on it. The glue caused it to peel off. Luckily seems like no harm was done. However, that glass is now in thrash bin and I have no plans to go for another one.

Its not glue its adhesive and even if it hardenes you can easily remove it again after it breaks or whatever just using a hair dryer

Hi! After a week of using Mocolo UV glass I noticed 2 cracks on the glass starting from the power button. Just to make it clear - I have installed the glass very carefully and the phone hasn't been dropped. Has anyone experienced similar situation?? Mocolo wtf?!

Unfortunately did not work for me.. the bubbles came up as soon as the glass touched the blob.. happy to see others got it right..

How hard is it to replace, should you need to apply another? Resin is usually hard stuff. Also toxic in it's liquid form
The UV adhesive gets rubbery like. It is not hard to get it off but stays on very well. It doest effect the screen whatsoever. When cracked we recommend to change it for a new one. We have ours on since the making of this video and its still going strong without any flaws.
After applying does it support the in-display fingerprint scanner?

What loca is the uv liquid? The 1000 or 2500?
I don't recommended this type of glass protection. It just messed up my iWatch 5 44 inch. Now I have glue on the sides and it's not coming off because the UV light made it tougher.

For some reason, the sticker removal part was left out, and this caused me a lot of trouble. While pulling the sticker, the glue from underneath it went into my speaker and when I tried to remove it the edge of the glass caught a major air bubble. Also, once you're done with the UV light, it's too late to remove the glue because it's pretty much solid by that point (and it's hard to wipe it before because the device needs to lay flat on the surface and otherwise keeps spilling glue). So I ended up with a bubble and some excess hard glue over the sides of the glass. Possibly there's too much glue in the tube so my tip is don't use all of it at once or it's going to end up dripping down the sides.
So when and how to remove the sticker that cover our mic and speaker?

Mny shopkeeper told me UV glued base screen protector is not good for ur screen,if shattered then in removing case,screen may be damaged because it's a hard glue. I have talked to OnePlus they dint recommend any of this,they said we can't recommend u.
Yes .. it's true... Braking this is actually as much serious as braking your screen, that's why most famous screen protector manufacturers don't make one for curved displays

Ummmm....You had bubbles left on the top right and bottom right, not the best application demo tbh.
I can't recommend this product application is a fairly complex chance for bubbles is higher than expected removing them is nearly impossible ended up throwing it away and washing my phone under the sink because the earpiece was full of liquid after trying to remove the bubbles under screen protector not on edges

You really need to be extra careful to apply this tempered glass..one mistake ruin everything..

This is a gamble. Followed the video in detail. Drop liquid went on the phone without a problem. Placed the glass and immediately a big bubble in the center!

it just comes off easily. Lift the protector from one corner and peel it off. No residuals. If there are any residuals wipe it with alcohol prep or rubbing alcohol. I had this protector installed on my OP& pro for 7-8 months and it's still going strong. A little common sense and patience goes a long way.

I tried one. It was terrible. Glue was weak.. could not put my case on without screen protector coming off. When it's off it will never look usable if you try to stick it on again. The old fashion glue you can also wash and stick it on again. Glass quality was fragile. It cracked instantly.

you dont. the adhesive dries and solidifies and youd just have basically a space in which no adhesive exists
When applying make sure there are no bubbles in the adhesive blob. When there are just puncture them with the alcohol pad.

I'd say no. It's only 450 brand new now. So if it does break. Not the end of the world. Buy a new one.
If you don't have experience DON'T TRY TO INSTALL IT ALONE. There is TOO MUCH LIQUID in the bottle, it spills all over the phone edges. The MOST CRUCIAL PART is to wipe the liquid spilling all around your phone before uv lamp! I have ended up with the already hardened drops of liquid sticking out of the glass. Please imagine what happened when I tried to break them out.. I have A LOT OF AIR NEAR SCREEN EDGES AND GLUISH SHAPES OF HARD LIQUID AROUND SOME EDGES!! It was hard to imagine for me that someone sells something with liquid in an installation procedure and I was right. DONT TRY IT AT HOME. DONT BUY IT
It gets even worse after few days. Some parts of the glue on the edges that seemed to be perfect has let the air below the glass ... That's not a nice way to protect your phone :(
I just did this as well, that was not mentioned in the clip. I know it can be obvious, but I had the thought that it might first hardened if it was in contact with the tempered glass, but no, so I have small air pockets on the sides, and a big one at the top, where I put the tape. Though it works perfectly with the phone, so if this was in the instructions, I would still buy. I have bought two, one for me and one for my boyfriend, so hopefully I will do better next time.

Not the original one for sure. I think the rubber case just lifts the glass a bit and that leads to creating bubbles or as in my case, it start to crack.

Forth with dry fiber
Fifth place phone on flat surface
Sixth apply fluid
Seven apply protector
Eight hold screen firmly in place and wipe excess residue from edges
Nine apply uv

I tried that and it was a mess, it didn't turned out well. I used a nail polish remover to remove the liquid adhesive, man! I wasted my money on that product, so I just bought a full clear tempered glass case... He did it well on that video cause he's been doing it for so many times
I thought this would be hard but turned out its actually simple to install. I used the same tutorial for a Samsung S20 Ultra. Be really carefully with the sticker, there is way too much glue and it's very posible that might get into the speaker. If it does its actually really easy to remove it with some alcohol or hand sanitizer as long as your phone is waterproof.
Inaccurate tutorial can ruin such pricey phones :
1. You didn't mention not to put all the quantity of glue as more glue can come off all sides
2. You didn't put all reinstall stickers to protect around the phone to protect the buttons
Edit that tutorial or delete it for God sake

You can peel it off if you get your fingernails under it. The rest of the glue can then be used to removed using rubbing alcohol

AVOID at all costs if you're not an expert!! I ordered 2 of them just in case. Both had countless bubbles even after waiting and repeated tries. Additionally the sticker came of and now my speaker grills are useless. So basically whenever someone calls me I can't understand a word they're saying...
Aren't you supposed to cover the speaker grills though?

I'm sure plenty people didn't encounter this problem, but good luck trying to get it out of those tiny speaker grills. Not even with Isopropanyl 😒 good decision to stay with traditional tempered glass. I know it's hard to find a good one while OnePlus doesn't even offer one of their own this time. So disappointed. I'm thinking if I should send it back because the microphone isn't really working either 😅
@@cucco1 I had the same problem with liquid going inside the speaker grills, I used acetone to soften it and remove it. Still was annoying not sure if i am going to use again an UV liquid screen protector.

full adhesive screen protector meaning it won't have a rainbow ish effect and other things
all other protectors with lots of fake reviews i saw have air under the protector. Only the sides were glued, touch gets worse and you have to press hard. I think you should go with liquid glue versions like these...UV Light makes sure the glue dries and you dont move the protector until its not ready to go.
