CPU performance does seem to be weirdly lacking even with taking the sqlite out of the test. GPU performance on the 7 pro is also weirdly much better. Considering they're both using the same SOC, it's likely that both phones chose to optimise different things. Can't wait for the phonebuff test though as I personally prefer that.
Good to know the FP sensor improves over time. I actually did deleted and re-registered some FPs on my Oneplus 7 pro because the FP detection not working very well.

The blue edge lighting on incoming notifications should happen when the phone is charging as well. Since there's no LED indicator like OnePlus 3/5 used to have beside the front cam, there is literally no way to tell without waking up the phone whether you accidentally forgot to turn the switch on after plugging in the charger.
I have some interesting information. Apparently the 90Hz refresh rates uses significantly more battery than 60Hz. The difference is more than 1 hour onscreen time. Therefore a 90Hz setting could cause the 7 pro to throttle quicker in a speed test and give it a worst result. As a matter of fact, Gary explains got a worst result with the 7 pro in the sqlite test than the s10+(uses slower ufs 2.1). So when you do a speed test try out 60Hz vs 90Hz to see what kind of difference that makes (also QHD vs FHD too). Thanks!
Thanks for the info bruh...for me, 90ghz refresh rate is a little overrated, if someone really want a huge leap and noticable better gaming/user experience go for 120ghz.
Adil Khan Good for you, thats probably the least you can do for the maintime to improved the battery life and also you might as well use the dark mode..no doubt its a beautiful phone but i don't like the curved edges of the display it reminds me more of samsung s8/s7, i prefer the curved display on the s10 plus..

I have been using my OnePlus 7 Pro for almost a year now I feel, my selfie cam is still strong. Something YOU didn't know: The main camera is a backup for the 3x zoom in low lighting (it will switch to the main camera for 3x instead of the dedicated 3x cam).
I've noticed that... It switches to the main lens most of the time unless u got really good lightning...would have rather OnePlus kept the zoom at 2.2× at 13 MP ... Then cropping in at 8MP just so they can say it's 3× lossless zoom Besides that I'm pretty happy with the cameras overall.

The 10 layer cooling system is a sales pitch ,there is no 10 layer in the cooling system you can actually see this in one +7 teardown videos on RUclips they actually show it .they used a lot of thermal solution insted and the all layer counted just makes 8 in total .

If the outside of the phone is getting hot, that means the cooling system is doing its job, which is to transfer and SPREAD the heat from the CPU. That's how cooling works.
The fingerprint algorithm is there on iphone as well, just test it in the touch id setting, slightly adjust ur finger too like what he did, and u can see it will learn
The 10 layer cooling is more of a marketing gimmick. If you see a teardown you will see maybe 6 to 7 layers of cooling and only one layer of vapor cooling in a small heat pipe that covers a small fraction of the phone. Still love the phone but hate when tech companies use those kind of buzzwords to sell a device...
If only one plus 7 pro had the Google pixel 3a photo hardware it be close to perfect but I bought over my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus and I kinda like it more, even though Samsung made the screen for the one plus 7 pro.

but you can zoom in more and have higher quality photos with 3x there is more digital "artificial" zoom than with the 3×
