So cruel breeding these dogs with additional needs. Breathing, eyes etc. just awful. The various dog registration organisations shouldn’t register them to stop this constant poor/inbreeding.
Agreed. #3 is my spirit anima…my friends 8 year old bulldog. Sadly, he has a lot of breathing problems because of his face… the noise that bulldog is making is really common for him. He’s at the vet at least once a month and they almost lost him when he got neutered a couple of years ago, He’s got a couple of giant growths on him that they can’t remove because he won’t survive the anesthesia. I don’t know why they continue this breed line either which they know is a lot of maintenance and will die young,

It’s exactly those organizations that breed them to be like that. Numerous breeds have been bred for looks other than for optimal health. In fact despite health issues being caused

@@angelaschlichtet3032 as much as love doggies i can't disagree. I had a friend that had one and she used to snort and make all sorts of odd sounds. and if you look at the ther skull structure you'll know what I mean.
My auntie used to have a french bulldog, that dog was an escape artist and absolute runner, that dog used to run 10 km a day. He was what I can called a "well breed" one cause he never had a problem with any breathing and even had normal sized nostrils. Sadly due to him being such an escape artist he was poisoned by someone one day. I miss him dearly, he was my favorite nap buddy. Fly high Kismo 😢
What breaks my heart is the suffering these dogs go through it effects everything
Breeding a dog for looks and disregarding health issues should be against the law...criminal...these poor animals suffer for no good reason.
Just did my first "Vet" thing. My little aussie girl Willow (9 months) was outside playing, and sliced open her dewclaw pad badly on a chunk of shale. It was bleeding badly. I called our vet, but it was a Sunday so they couldn't get her in. I called our vet friend, and she guided me on what to do. I sprayed the pet safe antiseptic on it, after cleaning it well, and stopping the bleeding, and then wrapped it with gauze a gauze pad, gauze wrap, vet wrap, and vets tape to make sure it stays on. Not too tight, not to loose. I'll keep an eye on it, and change it often. She will see the vet tomorrow!

My friend fosters dogs and there are loads of pugs and frenchies being given up. The breathing is horrendous on them, so sad.
My parents have Shar Pei mix. She has a tall slim body with barely any wrinkles, but absolutely has that gorgeously squishy Shar Pei head and face. With that came the need for this same eye surgery.
So nice to see Ali's first encounter with Scott... It's plain from the outset just how much she loves animals. Not to mention - SHE's gorgeous !
Praise God that He gave you the ability to do the Face Lifts on dogs that really need it!
I've seen a lot of Bondi Vet videos and I can say that Andrew Machevsky (sorry if I didn't write it well) is an excellent efficient professional too, also very kind, compassionate and empathetic. For example when he helped Dr Scott with the accident Dr Scott's pet had and needed an urgent complicated surgery. Greetings from Chile.

I'm surprised that the Shar Pei puppies were abandoned. Those can be expensive dogs. Not to mention how sweet and precious they are.

Amazing ressults
The vet practice I take my pets to has a male vet nurse, Brian, and he is amazing. No shade to the girls either. They are all fantastic. // I so wish that flat faced animals had never been created. Three of the five here are brachycephalic, and have the classic problems that this causes. Not the animals' fault of course. We humans need to stop trying to tweek nature, and getting it so wrong. I, like Ali, hate tail docking too. I think Wilberforce's procedure should be called "Breathing but no breeding". LOL
My vet practice has a couple of male nurses too, my rabbits are very popular with all the male nurses and get lots of love and attention.

I'm just grateful he was willing to accept their was a problem, and we see the dog getting the life that greedy breeders were never going to allow him to have
@@sura6499funds mostly, SASH is a specialist vet practice and the procedures are incredibly expensive. Don't be so judgemental , the dog was fixed in the end.

It seems that the more deformed they are, they more people desire them.

I’ve decided to never get a dog. They are a big responsibility. I have a Cat and he’s so much easier to take care of. if you know yourself and how much energy or strength you have to give a pet, better choose a pet that fits your personality and health condiction.
Well. And that is why you do not buy Bulldogs at all! Do not support their breeding!
