This season we begin our journey visting Pugnation L.A. rescue in Los Angeles, Ca. Having had 2 pugs of our own that we did not rescue, led us to face a harsh reality that we could not turn away from. Pugs are abandoned and neglected all around this country and abroad every single day. Finding this out made us ask why and what we can do to help improve the lives of homeless pugs. Pugnation L.A. was the perfect place to start. They are a 501c3 licensed dog rescue taking on the challenge of saving, vetting and safely adopting out pugs that are found as strays, surrendered by owners or end up in shelters sick from neglect by the very families that drop them off at the shelter. Thankfully there is no shortage of kind humans who are boots on the ground and ready to step in to help a pug in need. The message to adopt and not shop is forever ingrained in us. We hope it will be in you too.
