When people ask me which power station to get, without knowing their situation, I usually would say the EF Delta Mini because it's small and can power a fridge. With the upgrades to the Delta 2, this is my new recommendation. Post any questions/comments below.

Thanks for watching & subscribing! More repair & DIY videos coming. I picked up a TV from the trash. I might fix that next. Stay tuned.
I just watched a different review on YT where the UPS functionality of the Delta 2 was deemed too slow. Did they update the Ecoflow Delta 2 to make it switch faster?
Aside from all those 5 reasons may I add the fact it has a 3000 charge cycle which equates to about 10 years of use.
I do like the Delta 2 having a 5 year warranty which is the best one I have ever seen.
They have that trade in program as well. I just found out today when I called them.
My main reason for getting the Delta 2 is the 5 year warranty that Ecoflow has on that power station.
I have one, have tested it , but havent needed to use it during a storm yet.
Cool, make sure to drain the battery and recharge it a few times a year. For long term storage I think they recommend a 40% state of charge, but then you aren’t ready for an outage, so that’s why I recommend draining and charging every so often. It has a huge cycle life.
The reason why I want one is that I can charge it in about 80 minutes which is way faster than other power stations.
How much power does the inverter use if ac is on but nothing plugged in
I don't know the exact answer offhand but I would say like 15-30W, but probably more like 15W.
I'm hoping you can answer what no one else has.
I want to use as UPS. Question -after switching to battery powered what happens when the main AC power comes back. I would assume pass through the connected items. BUT the unanswered question is does the unit pass through AND recharge the battery.
yes, it would charge the battery normally unless in the APP you have it set not to charge (I think that is an option on the D2 if my memory is right)
@@FrugalRepair thanks - finally got an answer. But not sure what APP is - phone APP settings?
Do you have a video of how to connect the delta 2 to solar panels?
I don’t have a specific video on it. What would you like to know?
when running the fridge at 1:23 why it didn't show the watt consumption on the screen?
Good eye. Most energy efficient fridges don’t run 100% of the time. So there are times when the fridge doesn’t consume any electricity.
My LG led full hd tv screen is dull green when i switch on and slowly becomes normal but there is green border on all sides which stays. I couldn't find any solution on the web. Your suggestions please.
Hello. My enginestar 300w portable station got damaged during shipping. Any thoughts on how to repair it? It is not charging.
Not knowing anything about the damage I couldn’t say. Did you watch my videos about fixing a power station or taking one apart? Perhaps it could be helpful.
Gosh, the solar panels are so expensive. I have a 100watt Renegy panel. Is there any way I can use that to charge this?
Yes, you can use that Renegy panel or any other panel as long as it fits under the power input of the D2.
I have a question about how to fixed tv , please tell me how I can do that? Can I talk to you on a phone please?
Can't decide between the EcoFlow Delta 2 {$1,099.00 CAD} and the Bluetti AC 180 { $1,049.99 CAD. Both systems offer around 1000 WH, both have 1800 W inverters, seems that EcoFlow has better charge rate, and a more polished app, whereas the Bluetti seems to be more efficient. Both have similar batteries and both have 5 year warranty. Love to hear you feedback on these two units
I don’t have the AC 180 but I have other bluetti units. They are very similar and n specs as you point out. And I think you’d be happy with either one. If you are thinking of getting an expansion battery, maybe that is a factor. The biggest option for each: B300 can hold 3kwh but delta max is 2kwh. I like the 2 USB-c ports on the delta 2. I also personally like the form factor on the delta 2. Ac180 has a wireless charging pad but D2 doesn’t. There will be great deals on prime day (at least in the US), so would be a great time to pick one up.
@@FrugalRepair The wireless charger is not a deal changer, especially since it can not fast charge. My biggest concern is that it appears that the Bluetti has better cells with around 90% while the Ecoflow is only 78% for DC and 81 % for AC. Perhaps this is due to the release date of these units and, the EcoFlow already being 1.5 yrs old , the Bluetti just launched, and the improvement in battery technology
EcoFlow: rated 1024 WH, on DC x 78% = 798 WH, on AC x 81% = 829 WH 3000 cycles 80%
Bluetti rated 1152 WH on DC and AC x 90% = 1`037 WH 3500 cycles at 80%
That is roughly 20 % difference. Man I can't decide, Ecoflow has more ports ,is lighter, but the Bluetti seems to benefit from waiting a year to launch
@@StevenBelyon other benefit of the 180, is you won't find it lurking around on your wifi, receiving and sending information. They set it up to really encourage you log in, certain functions aren't accessible till you do
@@StevenBelyI had an AC180 and it failed twice. First blown fuse and then the screen failed.
How to conect 4x100 solar panel ecoflow on series or parallel. ANY advice plece.
Thanks
Can you help with my driving question regarding Delta 2? In short, is it properly grounded? Meaning; if the Delta 2 is plugged into my household outlet, which is properly grounded to a 6' steak driven into the ground as well as my buried copper pipes, then can I leave my refrigerator, TV, Internet, and home computer system all plugged into my 4KWh Delta 2 Max system without concern of improper grounding issues? I know it's output grounding wires go to the battery's chassis, but is that then connected to the charging port's ground wire?
Thanks!
I don’t know for sure on the D2 max if you would need a bonding plug or not. You can always check with a multi-meter when the unit is plugged in the wall. Check for continuity with ground on the unit and wall ground
I have two Delta twos, can they be paired?
Not that I know of with the side DC port. I assume that is what you’re asking.
Unfortunately I bought a Delta 1300 a few months ago, I wish I bought this one. The 1300 works fine but I'm concerned about the battery life if I use it often or with solar. However I'm thinking about still buying this one. My question is, can I use the original Delta 1300 and connect this new Delta 2 into it? I know the 1300 isn't designed to be used with an external battery, but can I just use the charging cable and use the Delta 2 with solar plugged into it to power/charge the 1300, basically using the 1300 pass-thru and then it will only discharge occasionally? The reason I'm asking is so I can use the 1300 as the primary power supply then I won't have to constantly charge and discharge it, I can use the Delta 2 to discharge and recharge, unless I use enough power to tap into the 1300's reserves and hopefully lessen the amount of discharge and charge cycles the 1300 experiences.
My understanding is that if the 1300 batteries are full then that excess solar will pass to the load, which is the D2 in your case.

Well pump?
Is it 120v or 220v? If it’s 220v, then no. But probably would work if it’s 120v, assuming it uses less than 1800w continuous power. I don’t have one to test, unfortunately.
You should activate the 'paid promotion' option. It increases your credibility.
I always do if I’m given a product. I did on this one. Maybe it didn’t show for some reason. Thanks for mentioning it.
Give us the freaking price man, come on!! Spent 6 min and I still don't know how much they cost -- not even approximately
I paid $865.00 after tax, free shipping, Amazon. 8-20-23
QVC. 699.00. Special solar panel included
I belong to you baby . I belong to you and we belong to you ,

Your code is no good
Sorry about that! I just updated the codes in the description.
Where’s the price big promotion no price
HOW MUCH THE PRICE INCLUDING SOLAR PANELS
All said and done at the end of the day it’s just a glorified battery! 🤩🔋🪫😳
After extensive research I landed the EcoFlow delta 2 over all others.
Hi, after one of using the unit, what is your view on this unit
Well ???? How. Do you like it ?
We both have the same reasons to get the Delta 2 but the 80 minute charge time is what got me to get one.
The ecoflow delta 2 is the better choice over the jackery 1000 pro and 2000 pro.
3000+ charge cycles! My River max is rated for 800 cycles and is a dream to use. My next upgrade was just found!
This might be better than a gas generator. Just cost twice as much but I dont have to buy gas .😊
And you can run it inside and charge it with a solar panel.
I am gonna show this video to my solar class. You will get more viewerships from them soon. I am subscribing now.
Do you have to use Ecoflows solar panels exclusively? or will this unit work with other brands, such as goal zero? thank you.
You can use any solar panels you want. Just make sure the specs (max volts/amps) of your panels fit under the max of the D2 input.
if you take that somewhere you dont have a data signal, can you still connect to it with your phone via bluetooth app?
Yes, you don’t need internet, it can connect via Bluetooth.
Ya the Delta 2 may be just what we need.
I camperized a cargo trailer. It's just a 6x10 I made a kitchenette with a small fridge and a 30 amp RV hookup. When road tripping its cheaper to stay at a RV park than a hotel. But we don't want to run our generator all day and I used an Optima yellow top battery from my car and a small inverter to power my c pap machine all night, then charge the battery when the generator is going.
A Delta 2 with 400 watts of roof mounted solar panels will take care of us when weekend camping off grid.
Wow the fridge for 7 hours , how many cubic feet is it?
Sorry I missed your comment. I don’t know the exact answer but it’s a full size fridge that works for a family of 7.
@@FrugalRepair no worries , thanks!
Rhys I finally found your RUclips channel 😂
Yeah! Hope you are doing well.
Meanwhile I am a bit in doubt about the fan-noise.
When running on or charging the battery I am fine with the fan-noise, when running on AC(in) it shows this does not have a transfer switch but does AC->DC->AC. Which not only is noisy but also inefficient.
That is why I installed a real transfer switch at home which uses the Delta 2 as generator in case the grid goes down.
I have a similar unit by Vtoman that I really like a lot. I also have a 200 W solar panel unit that I have used to charge it and it works. These portable power stations are great and what a piece of mind! I'm a voiceover artist and my Vtoman (which has about 1380 kilowatt-hours on the internal battery) will run my recording studio here for about six and half hours :-)
That's great!
Have a tv that went black screen. But you can still see the picture with flash light. Any ideas.
Good evening best explained video about this eco2..on RUclips. My question Is it necessary To connect the Bluetooth and worry about the firmware Or can I just plug Play charge and repeat When needed..thanks for any advice.
Blessings
Thanks! You can do what you want with it since it’s yours. Updating the firmware is usually a good idea since they are improving something.
what is the actual cost when you get the federal tax rebate ?
I understand that the US tax credit is only for home backup systems over 3kwh. So this wouldn’t qualify.
Testing out a 10ft 10G x60i(offbrand Amazon) cable for the solar panel(misplaced the original). It works like a charm, kinda even better now since i don't have to hide the baterry behind the solar panel.
Can I charge my echoflow in my car?
Yes. You can use the included 12v car port adapter. It will charge a lot slower than a wall AC though.
You can also buy an inverter , attach the inverter to your car battery, you will charge extremely fast . There are several vids online showing this
can i use and chafrge delta2 with 220v ?
Not the US 120v version but I believe the 240v version for Europe may be what you want.
Tomorrow our power will be out for 8 hours. Our Delta 2 will let us run the refrigerator, and have 📺, and charge cell phones. It's the best $1000 we ever spent, with the 160W portable solar panel.
So happy with the Delta 2, we ordered the Ecoflow River 2 also.
Our gas generators are feeling neglected.😢😎
