I have a keyboard similar to this one on my HP Chromebook 14 X360. Putting the two white retainer frames back together was challenging. The hinge in the middle where the two white plastic frames meet was not connecting. The pins were not locking into the grooves because a thin piece of plastic was bent into the groove and blocking the pins from fully seating down. I bent the plastic out of the groove and the pins were able to lock into place. I'm glad its over, it was stressing me out, haha.

If your Key Cap is not clicking down in place correctly, it is most likely due to the Retainer Clip not being properly installed or damaged. Remove the Cap and inspect for damage or that its not laying down flush and properly snapped in itself. Compare to another Clip if needed by removing another Cap.
You disliked the vid because you couldnt do it? ok lol thx
Your Camera is bad. Can't really get it clear
What part can you not see well enough to follow along? Are you stuck somewhere?

i broke it
I usually get my keys on Ebay or www.laptopkeys.com/. If you cannot find the correct key for sale, you may have to purchase a keyboard and take a key off of there.
@@PC_Monkey i cant buy e bay and my laptop is water loged
Can you stop talking so much
Um... the thing with videos is that once they are recorded and posted, you cant really change them. So asking for me to talk less, raise the volume, or try a different key isnt really a high IQ thing to do lol as this video cannot be changed. Unfortunately, I dont have a fix on this channel for low IQ... sry :(
HE DID NOT HELP AT ALL
This is a tutorial on how to replace a key. Are you replacing a key? How did this not help?
PC Monkey somethings were too fast
@@briavance5834 Which part was too fast and you were unable to see what was being done?
So my arrow keys (left and down) are really slow so i think its just dirty under the key what should i do
If they feel like they are not working correctly, they may need to be taken apart and cleaned or reinstalled correctly as seen here.
@@PC_Monkey I took em off and cleaned em and it works fine now, but I took over half an hour trying to get the left arrow key in and I just realized its backwards
@@Silicosis_ Keys can be one of the most frustrating things on a computer lol. Good job :)
