Australia. I can buy nutritious meals (frozen) that are included in my weekly grocery delivery. I pay $15 per month to have a weekly delivery of all they sell (a supermarket) as long as it is over $50. Top video and review.
Do you get to keep the container they come in? Looks re-usable. I have my first order coming on thursday. Paused it right after I ordered because I didn't want to be charged for another week if I didn't care for it. Mainly trying to take advantage of the great intro offer of 50% off. Also another note if you read on their site you don't have to eat them soon after... you can freeze them as well.
@@MissSarahEK unfortunately when I received my order, It came in a cardboard box. There were four huge gel packs in there and 3 were leaking all over everything. Temperature of the food when I received it was around 60° so everything was spoiled. I did order when It was very hot out. I checked shipping and it was shipped from Texas and it took like three or four days to shipped to Kansas. So it was sitting in hot trailers for that amount of time. It was like pulling teeth to get my money back from them. They just wanted to send me another order. But it was such a hassle cleaning everything up I filled up an entire trash can from the cardboard box and the debris and the spoiled food. If I ever try any of these companies again it's going to be during the winter time. Bummer.
@@4drturbo85 oh no! I’m sorry to hear you had a bad experience. They must have different packages in different regions since I’ve never had it delivered in a box after over a year. Good to know!
mine came in a box too, so perhaps the fancy bag was something they did at the beginning and is no longer. Maybe it arrived dirty looking, which wouldn't be fab?? My first meal so far has been great. Only issue is we can't order 12 meals anymore (2 people) because they all have to be eaten within max 5 days (some within 3 or 4) so it won't get us through a whole week without freezing. I think we'll go down to 8 meals for two people...and eat them within 4-5 days like the packaging says is "best by".
Ooh interesting! I still been using it almost weekly since this video and it still comes in a bag, so maybe it’s a regional thing depending on where it’s being shipped? Glad you are enjoying it so far!
I just started looking into a meal delivery service, and so stumbled upon a few of your reviews. The first one that caught my eye was Tovala. I like the convenience of just tossing the trays in the oven and having them be done in 20 minutes; but I really just don’t need the countertop oven. I already have a Breville countertop convection oven/air fryer (and a dozen other settings) and getting another countertop oven doesn’t make sense. Unfortunately, many of the other meal plans seem to be geared towards microwave cooking, which my wife and I do not want to do. This company looks like they have good portions, and less plastic in the packaging, but can they cook in the oven? Does that make it as easy and convenient as the Tovala? Thanks.
three weeks of scheduled deliveries never showed up with no resolution and when they finally did deliver a rotten salmon dish leaked all over everything else. This company is the epitome of failure.
Great video .. just wish you would of tried a beef, Chicken, seafood dish .. especially seafood as it does not always reheat well and not a long window of freshness
I will note that the salmon dishes have been great! I am surprised that the fish remains tender and isn't dried out. Other fishes and shrimp are also good. Beef, when it is steak, tends to come out "medium", and since I prefer medium rare, I no longer order that. But I will note even that wasn't hopelessly dry.
I recently subscribed and was shocked at the amount of vegan options I’ve used other meal service’s and none have close to the amount they have and as a former vegan that still enjoys vegan food I can really appreciate that
I've been with Cook Unity a while now, and I'm thinking about cancelling as the menu doesn't change much, and I'm getting tired of eating the same selections every week.
Factor meal is the best and 👑 . My conjecture of course but you got so much promotions with inviting friends, etc. cook unity sounds to be surrounded by profit focused
Cookunity is incredible. I’m trying to bulk up and I specifically search out 1000+ calorie meals and everything is SO good. Easy to make. Blows Factor out of the water.

Ok, first of all, I do not pay a delivery fee period. Second, you think that $11-13 is the "standard"? That's what I pay if I buy my lunch when I go to work, I am not paying this kind of money for this type of food. A reasonable amount is $4-8 for a meal, at least it is in Texas. I wanted to try this service just because of the convenience of not having to pack a lunch, but for this amount, I can buy a better lunch at work. Thanks for your review.
Thanks for your comment! I definitely get what you are saying that you can get something cheaper at a grocery store or something like that, but it’s a pretty standard price for a delivery service of premade meals like this in my experience. At this point I’ve reviewed dozens of them, and unfortunately I don’t really know of too many in that $4-$8 price range (if any).
@@mb3938huh? Have you watched any of my videos lol? I have referral links on most of my videos even if I give a negative review. I always share honest pros and cons. Cancel your subscription immediately if you order from these Cretans, and do NOT subscribe to it if you haven't. You WILL regret it!
I'm glad you enjoyed your experience with Cook Unity. I was also impressed by the quality and portion size, but delivery was nonsense - I ordered two times and both times it was late; the second time it didn't arrive until after midnight!

Work at walmart and I didn't know anything about this company. I noticed on my Lunch break sitting in my car at the parking lot and I see a something fishy going on. There was a whole stack of these, probably 50 boxes sitting out in the hot july sun for over an hour. There were a bunch of people around the boxes with cars loading them in. Not sure what's going on but this can't be safe. They then parked a bunch of these cars in the Walmart parking lot for the remainder of my break sitting in hit 120+ degree cars for at least 30 more minutes. They had to disperse the cars because they had the attention of a security gaurd. this is the first video I found explaining what all these boxes were.
So first time I ordered Cook Unity they lost my meal - but they gave me a discount on my next two orders (instead of just first order like the promo says) I loved the protein heavy items, tasted great. Honestly if you look hard enough, you can find healthy items that taste great. I agree with your take on the Paneer Makhani, did not pack enough flavor but actually crumbly paneer is higher quality than the tofu-like, stiff paneer. Overall it’s a great option - I have not found a better one
I've been having Cook Unity for a while and I agree with your review in most points! I found it to be one of the best tasting meal plans, and I was tired of having to figure out what to do with all the trash from those big meal boxes, so compostable packaging and returnable bags were a big + for me! The one thing that is not great is, if you are trying to follow a diet, you need to be careful and check ingredients and calories for every meal. Many times I selected a meal and only later realized that it packed 1000 calories! @_@ And it happens more often than you would think. But overall, it was the best meal service I tried.
Helpful comments. Curious if any of the other services you tried are close enough to recommend considering and which ones would be on the do not try list. I'm asking because 1) I'm personally looking for a meal prep option right now and 2) I'm also considering investing in and being a co-founder in a meal prep business so I'm also doing some resesrch.
They were terrible. Every meal I received had over 630 grams of salt. Food was very salty that I couldn’t enjoy it. My experience was not positive. At least 2 meals were spoiled from my order. That was enough for me to cancel.
That's a completely reasonable amount of salt. You would expect your meals to have roughly 1/3rd to 1/4th the amount of your daily sodium intake, which these have.
I thought your video was very informative. Very detailed ,editing was excellent. You did a five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️job with explaining every dish less presentation on the video for each meal was five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ great job young lady. 👍😊👍
I totally disagree with you about not being for specific types of diets. They totally give you the option of picking which diet you want to follow and give you options based on that choice. In addition, you said they charge $9.99 for shipping. That is not true either. It's free shipping.
Thanks for your comment! They have a lot of options, but I just meant it’s not really designed for one particular type of diet. Perhaps they have updated their shipping cost - thanks for flagging!
The site literally names every diet you said it wouldn't be best if you are on one of these diets they have options for every one of those diets you said it wouldn't be best😅
Either the reviews are artificially inflated, or more likely, the business has not planned for it's growth. Because the customer service at this business is the very worst. Late shipments and deliveries leading to spoiled and useless meals. Continuous refusal to rectify their own mistakes on orders and billing. Hiding behind their own jacked policy to not provide refunds. They only offer credit toward your next delivery. Do not use this service to plan your meals. You will waste your own time.
Oh no! So sorry to hear you are having these issues. Personally I haven’t experienced any issues after probably 20 deliveries, so perhaps it’s regional. Definitely frustrating though!
I thought the menu was really great. My delivery was alarming. The food came in that grocery bag. It was opened and WARM! I now have spent $$ on food I can't be sure is safe. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
ALL meal services I tried let you pick meals. You need to get out more. And yes you can order in bulk, just freeze them and eat them later. Works great. Duh!
Glad you are enjoying it! I've reviewed 25+ meal delivery services on this channel, so I have run into quite a few different types. Most of them allow you to select meals, but there are still some that don't, or just recently allowed this. For example, Trifecta just started allowing you to select your own meals in the last year or so (after I reviewed it). Sakara Life, probably the most expensive one I've reviewed, still doesn't allow you to choose all of your own meals. I usually try to stick with the recommended way to consuming meals I try, and I haven't seen Cook Unity recommend freezing for their menu items (although maybe I just missed this). I'm sure it would work well for some of their menu, but I'm not sure they are universally well-suited for freezing (e.g. fresh salads). Thanks for watching and your comment!
hands down the best tasting prepared meals....I've tried Freshly's (defunct), RealEats (defunct), Diet-to-go, factor, Eat Clean and none of these comes close
Worst food ever, poorly made meals which most are half rice, and most chicken was dark meat, and all chicken was odd tasting and tough. Sent us food we couldn't eat, like sow belly and other unidentified food that wasn't worth the $200.00 cost for 24 strange tasting food that was partially trashed as we couldn't trust it.
That is not high, that's how much the average person should be eating a day. I workout, and on average I have to eat at least 3000 to stay energized unless I don't workout for a while

Yes you can keep the packaging! It’s pretty high quality, and I think definitely could be reused.
Thanks for your review! I've been looking into this and think it might be a good option to grab and go for lunch at the office!
Sarah, thanks for making this video. Im ordering my meals now because after 5pm last thing I wanna do is cook. Alright good talk.
Wtf, ad on Facebook says 4.49 per meal, 10 bucks, f*** that
mine came in a box too, so perhaps the fancy bag was something they did at the beginning and is no longer.
@@MissSarahEKI ordered 12 and don’t think they would have fit in this bag. When I place my smaller order, I’ll see if it comes in a bag!
Thanks for this
Thanks for this... I stumbled upon this, and it looked good.
My use by dates are within a day or two. I cant eat all that. Can you freeze them?
No bag. Mine came in a box. #elpasotx.
So do i get the meals all at once if its 16 or like 3 every week ?
I recently subscribed and was shocked at the amount of vegan options I’ve used other meal service’s and none have close to the amount they have and as a former vegan that still enjoys vegan food I can really appreciate that
I've been with Cook Unity a while now, and I'm thinking about cancelling as the menu doesn't change much, and I'm getting tired of eating the same selections every week.
Factor meal is the best and 👑 . My conjecture of course but you got so much promotions with inviting friends, etc. cook unity sounds to be surrounded by profit focused
@@GoudaTheCavalierYes. I love Factor as well.
Cookunity is incredible. I’m trying to bulk up and I specifically search out 1000+ calorie meals and everything is SO good. Easy to make. Blows Factor out of the water.
Which service would you recommend that is lighter on the wallet ? Averaging about$ 8-11 per meal ?
Bump

I want to try this but I have a family and they don't have options for multiple people or larger meals.
If unsponsored what's with the referral code in your summary?
Unsponsored means it’s not a sponsored or paid video. Anyone cook unity customer can get a referral code, but this video is not a collaboration with the brand.
You can put them in ziplock bags and freeze them.
She will say anything just to get people use her code. Of course she thinks this $hit is overpriced but she won’t say it. Scam. I reported this video
@@mb3938huh? Have you watched any of my videos lol? I have referral links on most of my videos even if I give a negative review. I always share honest pros and cons. I’ve been getting CookUnity weekly for over a year after I did this review because I think it’s one of the best prepared meal delivery services like this I’ve found (and I’ve reviewed dozens on my channel…many of which I don’t recommend at all). What do you think I’m not being genuine about in this video?
Although you sound like you must be a prepared meal delivery service expert 😉, so please let me know what other services you are using that deliver fully prepared fresh meals that are significantly cheaper, since I’d love to try those and save money!
The website does not allow you you to look at or modify your shopping cart, and if you don't order by a certain time, they automatically order a full subscription, even though YOU did not place the order. Then, there is no way to cancel the order, and they refuse to cancel the order or refund the money. Cancel your subscription immediately if you order from these Cretans, and do NOT subscribe to it if you haven't. You WILL regret it!
Thanks for the advice. I like Factor so I’ll stay with them.
How much woul be per week and per month
I'm glad you enjoyed your experience with Cook Unity. I was also impressed by the quality and portion size, but delivery was nonsense - I ordered two times and both times it was late; the second time it didn't arrive until after midnight!
Oh no! That’s not good! I ordered again from them this week so we’ll see how the delivery goes 🤞🏻
2 of my first 10 deliveries from Factor 75 by UPS arrived the day after the delivery date. So CookUnity is not alone.
have you reviewed territory foods??
No I haven’t tried them yet!
@@MissSarahEK I hope you do. I enjoy your videos
Surprisingly delicious meals and super convenient
I currently subscribe to cookunity , 12 meals per week . I’m pretty shocked at your review because of your portion sizes …. I have yet to receive such a full portion … my orders look pretty skimpy compared to yours . However , I’m pleased w/ some of the taste and delivery service
Thanks for a VERY helpful review!
Thanks for watching! Glad to hear it was helpful ☺️
@@MissSarahEK BTW I should have also mentioned that your delivery is very engaging.
Lettuce was brown in all meals it was included in it came in a big box but I think they are tastier but probably cuz they not healthy meals.
Oh no!
You just convinced me not to go with them. I’ll go back to Factor.
So first time I ordered Cook Unity they lost my meal - but they gave me a discount on my next two orders (instead of just first order like the promo says)
I loved the protein heavy items, tasted great.
Great review, thank you!
I wish cook unity was more standardized between chefs. Sometimes I get a legit meal and sometimes I get food in the tray in off brand ziplocks…
Oh interesting! I haven't seen that myself, so I wonder if it has to do with the location where it's prepared.
Aww thank you! I appreciate you watching and commenting :)
I think the price per meal is too much. I was about to try them until I saw that.
The site literally names every diet you said it wouldn't be best if you are on one of these diets they have options for every one of those diets you said it wouldn't be best😅
This video is 1.5 years old. The site probably changed to include those options after this video was made.
Thank you 🙏
Thinking about trying a couple of these services out and this one seems like a pretty solid pick. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching! ☺️
For convenience and a good meal, for the money, i am happy so far
I had three meals and was satisfied
Cook Unity is the meal plan for non-cooks who plan on (continuing to) live alone and adding three cats to their domicile.

Love mine. Helps so much with losing weight
Glad to hear you are enjoying it!
These meals are actually so tasty
I thought the menu was really great. My delivery was alarming. The food came in that grocery bag. It was opened and WARM! I now have spent $$ on food I can't be sure is safe. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
Its said paneer mahk ni
Curious what your process is going from frozen. Defrost then microwave, frozen straight into the oven, or something different.
This company Ghosted this woman. 🤔🧐🤨
Red flag #1…accountability.
hands down the best tasting prepared meals....I've tried Freshly's (defunct), RealEats (defunct), Diet-to-go, factor, Eat Clean and none of these comes close
Totally agree!
Cook unity sounds amazing i could tell by how amazing the meals look
a Niche version of a SWANSONS TV DINNER.
600-800 calories oer meal! thats high!
I think it’s a pretty good size for most people. A lot of other services only have meals
That is not high, that's how much the average person should be eating a day. I workout, and on average I have to eat at least 3000 to stay energized unless I don't workout for a while
You should get a friend that eats meat to help with your reviews. You will reach a broader audience. Otherwise great stuff. TY
"eNvIrOnMeNtAl rEaSoNs" you ppl crack me up
Huh? Lol
Cook Unity - A "direct to Chef" meal service. LOL!! Sorry..."chefs" prepare self made meals. They don't just reheat TV dinners.
Huh? Yeah it’s supposed to be the people who make the meals are the chefs…not the Cookunity customers lol
@@MissSarahEK Agreed!! Oh, and please don't mistake my intent. Your video review was great! I was simply commenting on the Cook Unity ads that keep running in high circulation here on RUclips in which they declare they are a "direct to chef marketplace" and meal service! It might be more accurate to suggest they are direct "from" chefs marketplace. But that's a Cook Unity issue not yours. Your review was great! 🙂
For $13 per meal, I would just do a takeout.
Much too much talking for very few information. I mean calories !!!
