- In this video, we’ll be talking about How to permanently disable windows defender from windows 10.
Some of you might find some difficulties when you’re trying to disable windows defender, through registry and group policy editor. In that case, use the method in the BONUS section, and that will hopefully work for you.
However, to permanently disable windows defender from windows 10, there is another alternative. That is using a NEW Antivirus programme. It will automatically disable windows defender. I didn’t include that method because it is not a manual work that you have to do.
Be careful when you’re installing programs after you disable windows defender in windows 10, unless you’re confident that it will not harm your computer.
One good reason to turn off windows defender -
It will constantly run checks and scans, which will slow down gaming performance and crashes some programmes due to High Disk Usage.

That is possible because of new windows updates. Try to use the tool instead. With previous versions of windows, it worked fine.

I will try each of these methods. I don't know about anyone else but, MS just has too much control over MY COMPUTER!! I have 2 galaxy screen savers that I bought legit in 2015. They have been on 2 of my build since then. Last year MS started deleting them saying they were infected which I KNOW is BS. I absolutely HATE MS with unbridled passion. They are a horrible corporation. They have enough money to buy 2 game companies yet, not enough to offer easy tech support for THEIR PRODUCT. Right now I have that 'your device is at risk of being out of date you will need to restart to install updates'.... I can't say no....which is complete BS!! This is MY computer....NOT satyas!!! I'm sick of it!! I can only imagine the nightmare that is windows 11 and how much control they have over your computer. Thanks for reading my rant.

If the settings are reverted again, use gpupdate /force command with CMD before restarting and make sure to run it as administrator. And check whether you have any updates with windows.

You can refer to this website if the Group Policy editor is unavailable. Follow the instructions (just 2) and it can be easily enabled.

You can enable it through the tool. Just click on enable windows defender and go to virus and threat protection settings, then restart the service. It will be back to normal.

But why is input lag only on some computers?
Most probably it might be due to the graphic driver issues. If possible, try to update graphic drivers and adjust the graphic settings. Also scan your computer for viruses and close unwanted background applications.

Check whether another antivirus is installed on your computer. If so, your defender is already disabled.

This only works temporarly. Every windows update turns on win deffender again.

I have been using it more than a year and still I didn't encounter a problem. If you're not very comfortable with using it, install another antivirus programme and it will automatically disable the defender.

If you used the tool, just select enable windows defender. And if you have used another way, just undoing the changes will make it available back.

defender control is a trojan horse btw
It is due to the behavior of this tool. It is bypassing the security, which is detected as a suspicious behavior. If you face any problems after using it, please do comment. Mentioned it because I have used it in most of the cases to disable the defender.
@@AtechAdventurer alright I'm not gonna use it. I dont need keyloggers / malware on my pc. I've seen others using this aswell. I'm not gonna take the risk. I've already did this before with other software and lost a ton of files by ransomware encrypting all of my files. I have found a different solution instead to disable it which is with Autoruns for Windows and it works perfect so far.
