Craig Douglas was a very pleasing singer. He made great pop records and deserved his popularity. He's not been blessed with good health recently. Good luck Craig and thanks for the wonderful musical memories.

Favourite singer when I was a wee lad. Craig recorded some great songs with fabulous orchestration on the Top Rank label. My fave was 'Time.'

What a great track, and a fantastic voice. I actually prefer this version to the studio version, I really love the flute in the background, it adds a real nice touch to a sweet track. I've seen quite a lot of these british musical movies from the 60's where a lot of the day's pop stars running around and trying to act (abysmally), but it was worth it just to see a glimpse of your favourite singer on screen..a step back to a different and fun time. Craig an amazing singer and very underrated, but the camera clearly loves him.

I met Craig Douglas sometime in the 7o's when I was in my 20's; I took my late Mother to a venue somewhere behind Regent Street for a night out to a cabaret show. He was not much older than me and yet I suffered the most indiscreet embarrassment of my mother to want of him as a toy boy. He basically was a milkman from the Isle of Wight and to be honest later on unbeknown to me still tormented whether true or not that she slept with him (or not) and just for that no thank you. My Father stinks in his grave in my mind that I should want the same problem as a man as Kevin a confirmed bachelor.

zackally828 I can only speak for the 60s as I missed the 50s by a month which seemed to smell better than today as we lived in a normal world as opposed to a degenerate one.

It is not flying fishes, very very bad grammar, my school friends and I would have had our heads knocked off for saying that, it should be flying Fish.

      Fishes is also correct.

@@mikehudson8884 in English the collective plural of fish is fish, but in the US they use fishes, however it is rare in everyday language. It is what encyclopaedia britannica stated, there are many different fishes in our pond, but it should read there are many kinds of fish in out pond. Its former is not grammatical.

There is no such thing as bad grammar in a song. You'll hear double negatives etc... I'm fact anything goes in song it's known as poetic licence. Also fishes and fish are both correct.

@@mikehudson8884 you are boring me now, I know it as become the norm that grammar as gone out the door but it does not make it right or should I say rite, people are saying ie cactuses instead of cacti, the former being American English, some will argue there is know such thing.l once read an article in the Times that stated people using words like fishes cactuses, etc, shows a lack of intelligence and intellect. QED to me, end of chat.
