Is Washington taking this all the way?
Yes. Washington by 10+. UM hasn't faced an offense this explosive this year. UW will punch UM in the mouth early and often and UM won't have UW's stolen signs so they won't be able to respond. UW-38 UM 24. Harbaugh to the Chargers. UM vacates the last three years and takes a 5 year postseason ban. That's how this all ends for the cheaters up north. Hope it was worth it

Michigan has not played against a good offense, they have not played against a NFL caliber quarterback back. They have not played against 3 NFL caliber wideouts sharing the same field. There are levels to this.
A large portion of the team has beaten Ohio State with CJ Stroud, Marvin Harrison, JSN, Garret Wilson, Emeka Egbuka, which is a team with an NFL Caliber QB and 3 NFL Caliber Wideouts. Just because this isn't the same team from 2021 and 2022, doesn't mean that it isn't comprised of the same players. Imma be completely honest, ur flat out wrong about this.

That’s 7 games against QBs that are arguably better than any QB Michigan has faced all year. Context matters on defensive stats.

@@TheRobstienenough to win, yes. The point is that the stats will skew based the level of competition. The offenses that UW faced vs those that UM faced this year are in no way apples to apples. UM certainly has an excellent defense, but just dismissing UW ‘s defense by comparing side by side stats against completely different levels of competition isn’t the most accurate way to evaluate this. Certainly UW’s strength is their offense, and UM’s is their defense. But I think UW’s defense is better than folks understand (and UM’s offense is also probably better than some folks understand too).

All I heard for the last month that Texas would have Penix running for his life..how'd that work out? And Texas has a better D line Than Michigan. Yes Michigan had 6 sacks against Alabama. But you can't compare Alabama's line to Washington's. Penix has time to throw. And in 14 games he has. i dont expect anything different. Point is..The wrong teams favored in this game.

UW's defensive stats are deceptive. They played Oregon twice and USC and Arizona, -high powered offensive teams.

If Washington does win this game, it will prove that good defenses don’t necessarily win championships anymore; elite offenses do.
@@Johnnyprc That past few national championships haven’t been that way. Clemson (16), Bama (17), Clemson (18), LSU (19), Alabama (20), and Georgia (22) all had elite offensive weapons that won them a championship. Yes defense did play a roll but we didn’t have any low scoring 10-7 type games either.

The PAC12 was crazy good and loaded with talent this season. You have to factor that into Huskies defensive numbers. Not even the SEC, the last 25 years, had the offensive talent of the PAC12 this season.
I would be interested to hear how the offenses in the Big compare to the offenses in the PAC? I don't know, but I suspect the latter are more prolific, which might have an effect on the Washington defensive stats.

Texas fans were bragging about Sweat but he was manhandled all night.
to be fair, Sweat was not touted as a pass rusher, but as a run stopper, and they were pretty successful at that - but to put a fine point on it, Washington was happy with that calculus.

Whoever won the last game between Texas - Washington would be the champ. My money is on Michael FREAKIN Penix. That kid has Kobe Bryant vibes lol. Also fought through a wild injury list to be here. He’s clearly the best player in the game and his O Line handled a bigger and higher ranked D Line in Texas. Michigan won’t touch Penix much let’s be real. That O Line is the best in the nation besides maybe Oklahoma’s before everyone declared for the draft.
