@@arronfrazier7873 Texas had 180 yards with longs of 21, 16, and 16 from their top 3 rushers. All averaged over 6.5 ypc and only ran it 28 times including 8 rushed by ewers. That’s not Michigan’s offense. Michigan will be a consistent 3-5 yards for a consistent 5-9 minutes off of the clock. Should be a great game, but that’s a silly point to make. UW defense has played a lot of good offenses and held almost all of them under their scoring average. UM defense has played a lot of bad offenses. Don't buy too much into the hype against UW or for UM. A lot more parity than analysis says.
Penix wasn't great in a lot of games. There is a recency bias in the media about this. He has 2 games where he had 0 TDs. He wasn't the PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Year for a reason. He's also the 5th ranked QB for this draft in Bleacher Report grades
I'm just curious why we're looking for all these 'band-aids', and not really organizing the sport. The NCAA is so hands-off and out of touch that we don't even have a legitimate conference structure to support a real season and playoff structure. We have: ACC: 17 BIG12: 15 B1G: 19 SEC: 16 PAC12: 2 What does the PAC12 do for a conference championship game? Does WASH ST and OR ST just play each other 4 times a year and then again to decide which of the two represents the conference? Then its the money and how say the SEC is funded and media rights and agreements, boosters etc. It's not a structure, and it's not organized sports.
Yeah watched a bunch of film that Oregon state game plan is the best style that fits michigans best attributes just can’t turn it over 3-4 times! Win time control and turnover battle you will win the game
Best Offenses Michigan saw this year is Ohio State (#39) and Penn State (#68). Washington played 3 Top 10 Offenses in Oregon (#2) twice, Washington State (#6) and USC (#9). 🤔
Well those numbers are way skewed because the PAC 12 doesn't play any defense and those teams put up tons of points and yards against washington...I just don't see how washington can change their game enough to win and or make Michigan play track ball...I mean it's just amazing Washington has been as lucky as they have
Michigan beat #2, 3, 7 defenses (and Michigan is the #1 defense so we beat the best among the rest.) Washington is a #94 defense. If you want to compare rankings, let’s factor those in as well.
I loved you making fun of the brutalization of the English language with all the abbreviations. I am so sick of everyone being too lazy to use a polysyllabic word, so they just lazily throw out a half word and think they're clever.
Washington is going to put up some points, they are the best offense Michigan has seen this year. Score 28-31 points based on yardage alone. Main question is whether Michigan can keep up. Based on how Michigan has scored against comparable defenses, on paper the game should be like 45-28. However, Washington held Oregon and Texas to 31. They are both better offenses than Michigan’s. I see this as a competitive, tight game. I’m going with Michigan 31-28 mainly because the UW players have to be mentally exhausted by this point.
Washington is as lucky as they are good and they don't shoot themselves in the foot, like Michigan did against Alabama. Washington hangs around and wins games they could easily lose, while Michigan barely wins games they should have easily won.
@@johnnyoldenjr. : You're right as rain, Washington almost lost it, but they came out victorious, as they have all season. They have found a way to win and good fortune seems to be with them. Either way, they continue to find ways to evade defeat. I don't know if they're good, lucky, or both.
It's like an unstoppable force against an immovable object. Should be awesome to watch. I will say this...if Bama can score 20 on Michigan the Huskies can score 30 or more. I also think Michigan will score points. In the end the Huskies offense will come up big in the 4th and bring a National Championship to the Pac-12 in it's final game. 33 - 27 Washington.
Specifically built? Isn't that the checklist for building period? Regardless of who the opponent is, who your rival may be? That's how you would build a program.
Interesting that the team that is built to match up with OSU is now in the natty and favored to win. A really weird, small little nugget of solace for OSU fans lol
Incorrect we beat osu the past 2 years. All year long Michigan was focused on getting to this point where they thought they’d be facing Georgia. They had a drill in practice “Beat Georgia” not osu. This team is laser focused and believes in every single person that is on that field.
Washington is 4th in sacks allowed. Penix got sacked a total of 11 times all year. The pass blocking is elite. And his receiving core is the best since 2019 LSU. Washington isnt gonna struggle to keep Penix clean. Alabama was ranked 38th in sacks allowed. The line for Alabama was god awful. Thats something nobody talks about. And Penix only getting sacked 11 times and being a deep ball and crossing route thrower is even more impressive. They are a vertical route scheme looking for big plays every play. And they are a great run team when they need to be. Its hard for me to say Michigan is winning this match up. Ohio State only had one top tier WR in Harrison. But Washington has 3 that good. Polk is gonna have a Justin Jefferson performance where Odunsy is gonna get all the hype. But in reality Polk is the guy. It was Chase for Jefferson and i see the things Polk does and the routes he runs. Hes getting the slot CB and hes gonna eat that guy up. And cant play two high against trips and bunch and hope a LB can cover Polk in space. And Penix is gonna be making the throws that Alabama couldnt. No hate but 116 passing isnt happening with Penix and this group of savages. 😂😂 Im a big 10 supporter. But im a coach first and im watching film like crazy. Michigan doesn't match up in nickel to hang with the talent on the field. They need to play nothing but nickel cause Washington hardly ever has 21,22, or 12 personnel. Where base defense is used. They are barely using a TE and theres no way they are covering any WR with LBs 😂😂😂. Sorry not a speller or writer. But ik football
And when he says michigan is set up to beat ohio state you have to look at the past2 yrs specifically 2021 Osu had a high powered offense with 4 1st rnd draft picks QB CJ STROUD, WR GARRET WILSON, WR CHRIS OLAVE, and WR SMITH NJGIBA and a not so great defense and MICH won easily. I know youve been watching tape thats probably the closest personel to WSH Offense Mich played against and our gameplan was awesome in that game so its probably going to be similar no big plays bend dont break defense make wsh have long drives to score make tackle soon as wr make a catch and run the clock to keep wsh offense off the field and out of rhythm and win field position battle
‘22 OSU had CJ Stroud and the best offense in college football (by yds/play). If UW plays a clean game, this might be a shootout. However if Michigan gets a turnover or two, it could get ugly.
Washington O-line was voted the best in America. I see Michigan getting some pressure in Penix but not the way they were on BAMA. Everyone forgets how bad BAMA's line was at the being of the season and Texas tore them up. Washington controlled the line vs Texas D-Line and the same will happen against Michigan.
Michigan has one bad game with special teams, you going off one game. That won’t happen again they might even just fair catch ever punt. Look at Michigan field goal %
#3 Texas mauls Alabama and sacks their QB FIVE times and hands them their worst loss of the year. Michigan struggles to beat Alabama in OT. UW beats Texas and was the better team.
Totally different preparation and timing. You can’t compare a 2nd week team to a bowl team with a month of preparation. It’s delusional to think that the team that lost against texas was the same team that lost against Michigan.
@@zacharymarkham5232 Exactly, anyone who watched the Rose Bowl clearly saw Mich was the much better team, not even close, if it wasnt for those specials teams mistakes, that games doesnt even go to OT. Mich wins probably 21-7. Bama did improve after Half Time but still not enough.
I can simplify it a lot better for everyone. The Big 10 was very top heavy. Michigan and Ohio state. Ohio state no quarterback. The PAC 12 was by far the deepest conference. Washington has faced NFL QB talent USC , NFL running games, deep passing games , tempo teams like Oregon. Rough and tuff running games and defensive teams like Utah and Oregon state. Washington has the best player on the field and the best coaching staff. Washington can play with the lead or come from behind and win close games. They have done it all year. You can argue that Oregon is better than Texas and Alabama and Washington beat them twice! Huskies!
Oh man, Michigan fans are headed for a comedown. Harbaugh’s already gone and they’re going to lose this game. Michigan’s D-line is really something. Better than Oregon’s or Texas’? I think so, but not by much. In the 21 straight wins for the Dawgs, they’ve beat Oregon three times (home, away, & neutral) and Texas twice (both on the road). Washington ‘23 is LSU ‘19. Way too much offensive firepower. Huskies win their 4th National Title on Monday night. 37-28 Washington
Michigan has the easiest schedule in the country, Washington the toughest. I love all the so called experts picking against Washington again. Comparing Michigan’s performances against weak opposition makes no sense. The best O’Line, the best receivers, the best QB. It won’t matter what they say Washington gets it’s 22 second win in a row and it’s 5th win over a top ten team this season.
This will be an example of the Best QB beating the best defense . Penix is ELITE and watching him dominate Oregon twice and Texas shows it doesn’t matter .
Michigan faced 2 good QB'S all year.....McCord and Melroe, neither of which are remotely close to Penix. Also they haven't faced a receiver group like Washington's.....the best in the country. Washington also has the offensive line in college football.
Washington hasn’t even close to see a defense like michigan. Easy to carve up bad defenses. Washington offense will play well no doubt, Michigan defense will keep up no problem if texas was able to. Michigans offense can throw and run the ball. I think Michigan 1000% has the edge
@@vaughnjb what was the score at the end of the game? Michigan will be better at keeping them from scoring while being more efficient on offense then texas. i don’t think you understand that
Whats more likely, washington plays completely different then they have all year...(playing defense and being able to run the ball) or michigan plays the exact same(slows it down makes Washington earn everything and pressures the opposing qb and makes them make mistakes)....outside of husky fans i dont think anyone believes Washington is legit...making it to the title game isnt a measure of success....ask tcu about that...
Or Washington plays the exact same and Michigan will have to find a way to catch up. Not saying it'll happen, but why we pretending one team will force the other to play its version of football and not the other way around?
Dude. Okay. Have your opinion. That's cool. But how about we also use some common sense and logic and see Washington isn't TCU. Maybe actually watch Washington play and pay attention to the people who do this for a living.
Washington with its west-coast way of playing will win this game over Michigan and the East-coast way of playing football it will be a fun game but just like BY-Who? in the Holiday Bowl the West-Coast always Beats the East Coast and the Alabama Invatational Will be won by Washington 38 to 24.

Those are the facts!!
What your failing to recognize is Washington does ball control the ball while passing! They had 38 TOP to Texas 23 TOP!
UW defense has played a lot of good offenses and held almost all of them under their scoring average. UM defense has played a lot of bad offenses. Don't buy too much into the hype against UW or for UM. A lot more parity than analysis says.
Klatt, where would you rank Mizzou and PSU now? 😂
Missouri over Penn St.
We have:
ACC: 17
BIG12: 15
B1G: 19
SEC: 16
PAC12: 2
What does the PAC12 do for a conference championship game?
Does WASH ST and OR ST just play each other 4 times a year and then again to decide which of the two represents the conference?
Then its the money and how say the SEC is funded and media rights and agreements, boosters etc.
It's not a structure, and it's not organized sports.
If Penix runs 3 to 4 design runs and scrambles 3 to 6 times, what will Michigan do then?
Win ... easily.
Simple formula for Michigan- Control time if possession - win the game
Yeah watched a bunch of film that Oregon state game plan is the best style that fits michigans best attributes just can’t turn it over 3-4 times! Win time control and turnover battle you will win the game
Cheaters never deserve to win go Huskies!!
As an Oregon fan I will say Penix is better than Cam Newton. Oregon shut down Newton in the national championship.
@@zeaferjones1404 Penix was great but Newton was an all time cfb player easily top 10
@@kev614 Tebow is a better qb in college than Montana, but Oregon could shut down running qbs at that time.
What about academics? Semester finals play into the calendar.
wasn't this the analyst that had 2nd Rd grade on Herbert?
If Michigan doesnt turn the ball over its a wrap.
Best Offenses Michigan saw this year is Ohio State (#39) and Penn State (#68). Washington played 3 Top 10 Offenses in Oregon (#2) twice, Washington State (#6) and USC (#9). 🤔
Washington State lol
Well those numbers are way skewed because the PAC 12 doesn't play any defense and those teams put up tons of points and yards against washington...I just don't see how washington can change their game enough to win and or make Michigan play track ball...I mean it's just amazing Washington has been as lucky as they have
What defensive have they played again?
Michigan beat #2, 3, 7 defenses (and Michigan is the #1 defense so we beat the best among the rest.)
Washington is a #94 defense.
If you want to compare rankings, let’s factor those in as well.
Missed that Texas game did you?@titoham-DCXLs
Defense wins championships!! I want to see Washington win but I highly doubt it!
Tell that to Iowa
@@nirvanwaits different when your offense is nonexistent. Michigan offense very well can put up 30+.
GO BLUE ...
I loved you making fun of the brutalization of the English language with all the abbreviations. I am so sick of everyone being too lazy to use a polysyllabic word, so they just lazily throw out a half word and think they're clever.
Michigan 31 Washington 18
Washington is going to put up some points, they are the best offense Michigan has seen this year. Score 28-31 points based on yardage alone.
Main question is whether Michigan can keep up. Based on how Michigan has scored against comparable defenses, on paper the game should be like 45-28.
However, Washington held Oregon and Texas to 31. They are both better offenses than Michigan’s.
I see this as a competitive, tight game. I’m going with Michigan 31-28 mainly because the UW players have to be mentally exhausted by this point.
This is going to be like the Boise State, Oklahoma game.
Washington is as lucky as they are good and they don't shoot themselves in the foot, like Michigan did against Alabama. Washington hangs around and wins games they could easily lose, while Michigan barely wins games they should have easily won.
Lol
This is a terrible take lmao you talk like Michigan is 14-0 because of luck
You must didnt watch washingtons last game they almost choked it away in the 4th quarter.😂😂
@@johnnyoldenjr. : You're right as rain, Washington almost lost it, but they came out victorious, as they have all season. They have found a way to win and good fortune seems to be with them. Either way, they continue to find ways to evade defeat. I don't know if they're good, lucky, or both.
@@johnnyoldenjr. they have won every close game they’ve been in
Go DAWGS
Huh
Someone please edit out these minute long nothing intros at the start, thank you
Michigan 34-27
Starting your video’s out with 2 minutes of paused screen will make me stop watching vids
Michigan is built to beat Ohio State of 2020-22 and that Ohio State team is very much like Washington. Great QB, four first round receivers.
@@austinkilroy8233the same drill was called “beat Ohio” the year before bro, don’t spout misinformation
@@gabe7630 I'm confused-you think you have a point??? Oh my.
Mikey Sanistril might be the best nickelback in the nation. Michigan plays nickel, more than they play base.
Throw mikey way if you want to
And when he says michigan is set up to beat ohio state you have to look at the past2 yrs specifically 2021 Osu had a high powered offense with 4 1st rnd draft picks QB CJ STROUD, WR GARRET WILSON, WR CHRIS OLAVE, and WR SMITH NJGIBA and a not so great defense and MICH won easily.
Throw mikey way if you want to !!!!!
Go blue. BET.
Won't happen. You'll see. Go blue
Texas' front seven is nowhere near as good as Michigan, let's not even talk about that pass defense ranked in the 100s 🥴
@j4ce4201 agreed, but let people keep that same energy. About to find out
Y’all have played no one to the caliber of Michigan ohio or Alabama. The O line is good but Michigans D line is elite. 41-17 Michigan wins
Facts and washington is going to show michigan that the DAWGS are built diffrent
If it’s a shootout, then Washington wins. If it’s low scoring, then Michigan wins.
Watching Michigans special teams should be the game decider, Washington has been nearly flawless all year. Michigan makes mistake after mistake...
Michigan has one bad game with special teams, you going off one game. That won’t happen again they might even just fair catch ever punt. Look at Michigan field goal %
Only in the Rose Bowl. They have been lights out all year except for that game.
Michigan has been super solid on special teams outside of the one Bama game lol
Michigan commits the least mistakes and is least penalized in college football lol
is Michael Penix Jr. a better version of Geno Smith for an NFL player comparison ? or am I off ?
Washington fans are happy to be in the game. Idc what any of them say, they will be pleasantly surprised if they can handle Michigan in the trenches 😂
I’d be surprised if we could run against Michigan. I wouldn’t be surprised if we could protect Penix and throw for 400 yards.
Washington is going to win. Michigan haqsnt faced a top 40 offense all year and penix is going to show Washington is built different!!!
Top 40?? 🤡🤡
Washington doesnt even have a running game tho, all they have to rely on is the pass and if michigan shuts that down Its over
@@cubeman6639 and they won’t even have to “shut it down.” Just keep Penix from throwing 350 with no picks LOL
😂
#3 Texas mauls Alabama and sacks their QB FIVE times and hands them their worst loss of the year. Michigan struggles to beat Alabama in OT. UW beats Texas and was the better team.
What's your point???
Totally different preparation and timing. You can’t compare a 2nd week team to a bowl team with a month of preparation. It’s delusional to think that the team that lost against texas was the same team that lost against Michigan.
Struggled to beat Bama? They were struggling with beating themselves.
@@joshuawoodruff7280 for sure. That 3rd quarter was led by Bama
Dr. Pepper is so mid
Huskies!
Pest Control is what the guy came up with? So mid.
NCAA has trashed college football. Not watching.
43, 42, huskies beat wolverines Monday night, mark my words.
You’re drunk if you think Washington is scoring 40 on Michigan
Also, if Michigan scores 40, it’s because they dominated the run game. Washington wouldn’t even get enough possessions to score 40 lol
I really cant see michigan allowing more than 24 points
This is why no one is taking your comment seriously lol 43 42 you didnt even score that against a bad Texas defense…..
43 points by the huskies lol
While I agree with Joel in the Klattback, I have to state that all words are made up and new words are developed over time.
You are trying to convince yourself with this one, great season, congrats on 2nd place.
PAC 12 games………….. very weak. That’s why it’s late night tv.
This will be an example of the Best QB beating the best defense . Penix is ELITE and watching him dominate Oregon twice and Texas shows it doesn’t matter .
Only 1 very big problem with your analysis, Texas and Oregon aren't from the big 10! Different kinda ball
TCU II
Idk how I feel about a team that was caught cheating in recruiting and on-field this season playing for the National Championship…
@zachfavazza1248 Texas defense didn't keep up.
Washington scored 37 points on 532 total yards, 0 turnovers and punted just twice.
Michigan has the best DL and DBS in the country. And Washington's average defense can't slow down Michigan from running or throwing.
@@vaughnjb what was the score at the end of the game? Michigan will be better at keeping them from scoring while being more efficient on offense then texas. i don’t think you understand that
@@Bob-te3le that's what Texas said.
14 and 0. 21 games in a row. not legit? Lay off the Vegas kool-aid.
Or Washington plays the exact same and Michigan will have to find a way to catch up. Not saying it'll happen, but why we pretending one team will force the other to play its version of football and not the other way around?
It's silly at this point
Dude. Okay. Have your opinion. That's cool. But how about we also use some common sense and logic and see Washington isn't TCU. Maybe actually watch Washington play and pay attention to the people who do this for a living.
Who has Michigan played? You played bad offense and no quarterbacks.
Washington with its west-coast way of playing will win this game over Michigan and the East-coast way of playing football
it will be a fun game but just like BY-Who? in the Holiday Bowl the West-Coast always Beats the East Coast and the Alabama Invatational Will be won by Washington 38 to 24.
Michigan has beat a better version of this in Ohio state for 3 straight years
Michigan all the way.
That margin over the best defense in the nation? A little hard to see a blowout like that ...
“West coast always beats east coast” except every championship since 2006 has been won by a team east of Texas LOL (and I live in Los Angeles)
@@siyeezy1right, the SEC has won this thing like 15 of the last 20 years with elite D and O line play. People playing Xbox forget the importance of the line
Washington wins this game, hands down. Cheaters don’t win championships.
Klatt feels the coals on his feet and is devolving into a talking head. Michigan is going to win this game but not like this.
Joel Klatt was incredibly biased and had his worst broadcast on thr biggest stage in the Michigan vs. Ohio State game. Waa meat riding Ohio State the whole game. It would be a disservice to College Football if he called the National Championship. Thank you Football Gods 🙏
He talks Michigan up way more than OSU typically 😅
He won’t be calling it anytime soon. ESPN has exclusive rights over it
As a Michigan fan, some of my fellow fans really come off as way too sensitive lmao
Klatt has been pumping Michigan up all season

Joel Klatt: "IDK I THINK THATS AN INTERCEPTION"
Washington will finally play a competent pass rush and secondary.
