just locked in my bets for this weekend based off this video. Risking my future children's college fund on this Josh, don't let me down.
Lol - the Kids go to College at 18 or get job at 18 Bet
That's very irresponsible and horrible parenting. I love it.
Very irresponsible, I'm all for it.
Thats what im talking about man!
This is what college sports is all about
Josh I’m pretty sure you had the TN vs NC State game at a 7.5 on the upset alert meter, and we saw how that went
As a Tennessee fan, I think it’s close in the first half, but we pull away late. 38 - 17 final with a 14 - 10 halftime score.
Is Tennessee going to finally win a road game that matters?
@@Guitarshred55 Do you think this one matters? If so, then yes
@@Guitarshred55 Favorite guitarist?
@@Fury325Fan John 5 or John Petrucci. You?
An inescapable fact is it’s still Tennessee. They are having flashbacks to the 90s for a reason. It’s been that long since they’ve been the top dogs.
Sure, but Georgia hadn’t won a national championship in 41 years when they won back to back. Programs have droughts but the evidence for Tennessee’s return is there
@@willcruikshank7972yeah there are other teams in the SEC claiming to be “back” as well. They have a little something to say as well
Thinking about an orange team winning the national championship makes me want to vommit.
@@willcruikshank7972The difference is that GA never went as obscure as Tennessee.
@@dairyair5371 Texas did
I have been a Tennessee fan for years,i will never be confident because of trauma 🤣
Yeah, plus I'm hardcore fan of the vols. But I don't overlook anyone on the road in the sec, unless it's vandy.
Tennessee’s D line decides this game
#27 will be in the backfield alot in this game!
I really think usc hands Michigan an ass whipping. Michigan 8-4 this year.
When USC goes ahead of Michigan by at least 2 scores, the game will be over. No upset alert here. Michigan will then go on to lose probably 2 more this season. 💀
Michigan QB 3 for 6 for 15 yards this year. 2.5 average per pass. Think DC knows you load up box force him to throw. People think out of nowhere he's going to be this great accurate thrower beyond 20 yards when he's never done it before. Lincoln Riley offensive scheme will put points on board. They always do. Don't see Michigan being able to match them points for points.
I remember seeing the schedule and thinking, "We have to play Michigan." Now, I realize that Michigan has to play USC. B18 here we come!✌️
USC 31 - Michigan 10
So, bigger margin of victory than Texas (#1 team in the country)? Doubtful.
Speaking of upsets South Alabama destroyed app State. And the public just jumps on the favorite. It didn't make sense. +7.5 on the jaguars was the safe and correct play.
Minus crowd noise, Oklahoma faces all the offensive issues Tennessee potentially faces plus some. People are confident in Tennessee because Oklahoma’s offense will have to play significantly better than previous games AND Tennessee’s offense will have to play significantly worse. Both of those things happening looks like a tall order but stranger things have happened!
If the players are acting like the Tennessee fanbase, I’d be concerned, but I doubt that’s the case. GBO!
This is it right here. Tennessee matches up very well against this OU team. The only hiccup for Tennessee is that Norman is an insanely tough place to play and they have a first year starter at QB. If this was neutral it’d be -13.5 Tennessee.
I don't get the Avery Johnson take. His completion percentage I meh, but in the Arizona game he had multiple reallllly nice throws that were dropped.
And he throws the ball away on occasion, which we will take
@@gbear34 Sunshine doesn't make bad throws just to try to make the highlight reels. He does have room for improvement, and he will fill up the space shortly!
Someone started the narrative AJ isn't a good passer and everyone just repeats. His arm literally won the Tulane game with 2 TD passes, one of which only a couple QBs in the country could make. Very strange take.
Only have solid confidence (as a Vol fan) for one reason: our DL appears to have a beyond significant competitive advantage over their OL.
Hard to imagine losing with such a competitive advantage at the LOS but crazier things have certainly happened.
I like the under for the SC Michigan game… Tenn throws down on OU for a rude awakening to the SEC… Go Dawgs…
Dude, as I was told when I moved to Nashville from Atlanta...it is not Central Tennessee...its Middle...smile
from a guy who says this isn't 2018 tennessee anymore sure treats us like we are still some pish over trash team lol
Jackson Arnold does not have that dog in him. Nico may be young and more inexperienced, but going on the road to NC State helped prep Tennessee and Tennessee is in a good position to win.
Asking Michigan to find something in the air...lol
Josh casually forgets to mention that as recently as the day after the Texas v Michigan game, the line was Michigan -9.5
This Tennesse Oklahoma game is giving me 2022 Tennessee vs Lsu vibes..
i wish there were more actual, huge upsets during this section
USC not only wins but covers comfortably 31 -13
Not a fan of either team but Tenn -7.5 on the road with a freshman in Norman is so disrespectful to Oklahoma 😂 can’t wait to watch
Its probably because they feel that the Vols could score 20 and still win by a touchdown. OU isn't gonna be able to move the ball.
He’s a redshirt freshman
Because OU has no offense.
Tennessee definitely has talent on the dline, but they have not been tested yet either and outside the dline I think they're very average
@@ferg_life3841 lmao, if our offense is average, what does that make OU’s?🤪
Josh I love the show, but as someone who was born and raised in Tennessee, it hurt my soul to hear you say central TN. It's West, Middle, And East. The three stars on the flag, Josh. Go vols
Michigan will have to run the ball for 300 yards or they aren’t winning.
Tennessee wins by 10+
Mr Pate I’m 63 years old seen more college games then you will ever see…….SC will roll against UM , no respect
One thing about Josh is he acknowledges when he’s proven wrong. Oklahoma is not a serious football team. Go Vols
Louisville homer here and I’m nervous ngl
I think we’ll win but I’m really nervous
Pate I guess you didnt read Oklahoma injury report half their O line injured and Tennessee has top 5 D line = BLOWOUT TN 42 Ok 17 😂😂😂😅😅
As much as I love the Vols, this game against Oklahoma is THE very type of game Tennessee has failed a lot at the last several years. Even though I feel like Tennessee is going to win, after having the PTSD that being a Vols fan through the 00s and 10s has given me I would never place money on them
Rick I’m not sure if this will help or not but…
I understand why you think what you do, but I don’t think it’s going down like that. They have a defense and will play hard. That’s especially true considering y’all’s coach used to be their QB1. But the reality is that despite the advantage of playing at home in an important game with something to fight for, I think y’all have too much talent and are too well rounded to be shut down. Y’all should win I’m thinking, going to be historical to watch !!!
RTR
Good choice, but last week was the one to do it. Cash in -31.5 halftime spread against Kitty State
I agree. Michigan's run game should get going with their OL bullying. USC's defense will be on the field a long time and get tuckered out in the 2nd half. I think Michigan will win.
Have the Sarah McLachlan music ready for Oklahoma. Just keep it available for all Tennessee opponents this year. Go Vols!
@JoshPateCFB ….. Kansas State will cook. Mark my words. 😤
Josh Pate was using the rationale that LSU barely won against South Carolina, and therefore, Riley coached USC's victory over LSU may not be all that significant .... hahaha, nice try, Josh. So then, what do you think about this? ... UGA barely beat Kentucky by a single point, but South Carolina trounced Kentucky by a lop-sided score of 31-6 at Kentucky. So by using your very logic, LSU s/b tougher than UGA, South Carolina or Kentucky, since LSU beat the game cocks in Columbia, no less. ... Lincoln Riley also beat OSU in Columbus when OU was the underdog, and that OSU team was loaded in 2016. And as for another common foe Texas, Texas under Sark never won against Lincoln Riley, even when Lincoln had 100+ ranked defense ... but guess what has changed on the defense of late w/ USC? ... I will give you 3 guesses!
Is it Saturday 7:30 yet? 😂
BYU defensive struggles with the QB run. Say Hello to Sunshine! BYU's QB numbers drop a lot when he's blitzed. K-State's 3 man front is able to generated a lot of pressure in passing situations. Don't be surprised with a half dozen KSU blitzes to keep it interesting. As for Tulane, K-State is known for playing to close to the vest in pre-conference games which leads to close games. This will be a fun game to watch, but there'll be no upset here. EMAW
Playing on the road in the SEC is just different. Other than Vandy it’s just hard, and games in Knoxville, Norman, Athens, and Auburn are the worst with Death Valley being on its own tier. It can be done but those crowds change the score at every home game. I think Tennessee should be able to win easily but as night game in Norman isn’t where I would want my first year starter to have his first road game, that place will be lit.
a game we should also watch is Miami and USF
I think Miami wins but USF shows teams a blueprint to give them trouble and keep it close
Arkansas blows Auburn out 48-13
if it's close in the third then it's anyone's game! I agree. but don't see it happening like that
Good luck to your Vols on Saturday. We have been looking forward to having you back, ever since the last visit. We can't wait to find out how there are 13 Alabamas in the SEC this year, and three Vandys, just like you said all off season.
I hope you are wrong but I do believe Mich. is much better than what they have shown. Mich is still tough in the trenches and their DL is still elite. Playing in the Big House will not help the young Trojans. USC must prevent the Mich QB from running around and extending drives. Like someone else said, I hope USC gets an early lead, which will help their D a lot.
Tennessee 45 Oklahoma 9
As a VOLS Fan since 83 the dream layout for the story to this season as far as the new SEC Setup/Teams goes would be "TN Opened up SEC Football to OU and closed the season out for Texas at the SEC Championship" GBO!!! ROCKY TOP Forever!
I’ll go along with that if we can take the Knoxville trip in between the two lol ;)
I’m not sure about TX, but I’m pretty sure y’all have this one…
RTR
Take your medicine you're delusional
Michigan might forfeit the Buckeye game
Tennessee wants the blowout because they are concerned about close games!
As a Gator fan Michigan please save all of your upset energy for Ohio state. I want Ryan Day as the next Florida coach, dude needs to give up on NFL he's a college coach.
Great show Bro
Pate, I usually value what you say but putting Tennessee at a 8 on the "upset scale" is nonsense. There is a chance for a upset but it's not a 8. It's more like a 4 or 5. But carry on good sir
No way these games are on here buh the south alabama lsu game ain dats da upset I'm looking at
Josh, you said you were concerned for tennessee . Then listed exactly 0 concerns. The kids college funds in these comments are gonna be dust come sunday lmao
I thought Michigan lost 2 offensive linemen
And Conner stealing man. They don't have teams plays anymore😅
You'll soon to be called a fool my friend, JP.
Michigan is a one dimensional offense. All they can do is run the ball and they don't do that great. The O-line is no good,QB is horrible no big threat at WR, and the defense isn't as good as past years. USC is on the upswing with their improved defense. I take USC all day in this matchup. No way Michigan wins this game!
USC 34 - UM 13
Michigan will lose and lose big. They can't throw the ball. SC loads the box and shuts them down.
If you say so glen
@@jayandrusiak Arkansas State intercepted Michigan 3 times and that quarterback is better at throwing than the fullback starting this week.
Tenn 43 13
Yeah def. NOT going to be an upset when USC beats little sister. LMAO Josh um is NOT going to win that game....come on man......
Your not perfect in your predictions Josh, no one is. USC will win because.... First start in a big atmospheric game for Michigan QB. If he was that great in his progress as a QB he would of been starting from the beginning. Being put in because the other QB was so bad. Pretty sure Lincoln with two weeks time can scheme how to offset Michigan's strong front seven. Always had that ability and history. All he's ever needed was a defense, not a great one just good. He's got one this year.
"You're".
Ain't no fucking way OU wins
ima be here to tell you, Michigan stinks
Tennessee *always* chokes in big games on the road, minus LSU 2022. This will be Oklahoma's day.
OU is beating Tenn. they have 8 starters hack
Not ready for Tennessee defense 34-13 Rocky Top 🪨 wins it !! 2 scores minimum difference and it’s the beginning of the end of the venables tour at okie
5:44 nuss throws better than orgie
