Softie (the radio host) asked Warren who has a better spiral, him or Penix. Warren thought for a moment and in a classy way said, "Let's just say I've the best right hand spiral and Mike has the best lefty spiral."

What UT fans didn't realize is Parker is a beast. One of the strogest guys on the team and neutralized Sweat and Murphy.
Any UT fan who actually did their research would have seen parker's grade makes him one of the best in Pac12. In fact, his grade would make him 2nd best center in Big12.
Let's not forget Parker was selected for the Freshman All-American team on top of achoring the line for the Joe Moore awared. Yes, he is only a rs freshmen and UW oline will have a great center for at least 2 more years.

Haha that diva drama queen CW does give me bust vibes. This Penix kid is way more mature and grounded. gone through a lot of adversity so not arrogant and entitled. The injury history worries me though…

Real question. Why isn't he in the same breath as caleb, drake maye or Daniels? I've been following him for most of the season and he's been playing brilliantly most of the time.
Is it because of his injury history or what's the problem

  • @Henry-jr1lj

Penix has been healthy the past two years, so you can dispel any myths about his health.
He has that IT package, and that's all that matters!

It's like this past game was the 1st time anyone saw this guy play.. He's been great all year but he didn't get robbed of the Heisman. He had a couple tough games where I think he was a little banged up late in the season and Daniels put up video game #'s.

I mean, there are probably 10 teams in need of a QB and would love to get him. UW offense is very pro style especially with pre-snap motions. Watch highlights of UW offense and compare to NFL teams that run complex schemes. Many announcers who've played in the NFL mention this when they watch UW.
That says Penix is more ready for pros than other QBs in the draft. Arm, vision, decision making, pocket awareness, and pro-style offense schemes.
Reminds me very much of Warren Moon. Both dudes can sling it.
