The tabletop version is great, owlcat did a great job making the game feel like a literal video game version of the tabletop 😅 you’re basically the GM playing the game on your own but in the tabletop, the rogue trader could be an NPC and everyone plays as lowly crew members accepting orders from the rogue traders. Classes are now implemented in your companions so you won’t really miss out on most builds from the tabletop.
@@crow4936you may’ve already seen this (and I may be misunderstanding it), but they’ve announced a DLC that will let you have an assassin in your party I think

For what its worth - Crime Lord works alarmingly well with a forgeworld warrior Assassin. Good god the amount of movement speed and dodge (and dodge rating is damage for Assassins) the Locomotion forge world trait gives is absolutely insane and power weapons sheer through armor like nothing else. You are basically pulling stunts from The Matrix, in universe you are basically an unsanctioned Ad Mech Sicarian Infiltrator/Ruststalker - YOU FAST BOI.
Depending on the range of the Biomancy abilities, you could do a ranged combat medic like build. Heavy armor and some sort of melta/ high damage gun raining death while buffing and healing in the middle of battle.

It's actually a great RPG! So I think you should choose your character based on your personal tastes, not of which one is better. And system works perfectly here! You know what...you're right. No idea why I've just assumed CRPG meant classic-RPG. To be fair, Computer-role playing game might have made sense when consoles didn't have similar capabilities, but it certainly seems like an antiquated term now.
20:00 the pyro isnt worth picking. tried it and was out damaging its abilities, at power 4, with my sniper. i really hated its attack options, either a single target which does nice damage but again sniper keeps up with it or a line which you rarely have enemies in place for multi hits with a line and this was disappointing for a class described as one of the most destructive types of psykers.
Thank you for the video. Gonna say I would really like to play this game, but I feel that I would just be overwhelmed with everything in there. So many talents to use in combat, with multiple characters, doesn´t that become exhausting very fast?
Forge world is a good homework origin for warrior if you want high armor rate based on toughness. They get a passive that boost Power armor gear as well. Death world is also a choice since it focus on Berserker and survival style traits. Navy officer is a more tank focus profession origin as well.
love 40k, nice to actually have a good computer game from them as they have so many bad ones through the years. think earliest good one I played was shadow of the horned rat if not including good old chaos from spectrum.

With the way its worded, it seems like it will only give a buff against enemies that are adjacent to a character benefiting from this ability... which makes no sense. Allies having to be adjacent to the character giving this ability to benefit from it is fine and makes sense, but with the way its worded it seems like a melee range ability... on class that seems to encourage ranged.
it says all your allies (if i'm not mistaken so not the ones next to you) Your party deals bonus dmg against all enemies standing next to one of your party members It removes friendly fire dammage (you still hit but do 0 dmg) So example you have a melee guy surounded by 3 dudes, you pop this and now those 3 dudes take extra dmg from your guy standing next to them and they take more dmg from your ranged guys, you can trow grenades in the big melee blob or bbg the whole area and you wouldn't hurt your own guy
IDK, it just feels like a shitty, useless ability. If it only increases damage for melee (effectively) then it needs to be reworked IMO, since that makes no sense from a design perspective. Ability that only helps melee, on an origin that wants you to build ranged. Terrible IMO. Thinking of restarting just to get an agility that has any use.@@Dorphin01
