Tips 2 is what got me. There seems to be loads of missing/wrong icons for things too - with many being reused for different skills. Definitely not the easiest game to get into but I'm still really enjoying it.
Owl cat is known for patching the hell out f their games and by the time of the “ultimate” edition comes out, it’s like butter. But that’s the price you pay with games this huge/deep coming from a dev that has budgets closer to AA than AAA.
Im having a lot of fun. Probably what I took longer to understand is how burst fire works - some weapons have AWFUL single shot damage and the % to hit is per shot, you CAN hit one target multiple times even if the preview highlight several targets and against monsters who occupy more than a square it's pretty much mandatory to use burst fire if available.
@@CLARENCErr I THINK (I might be wrong) it's because either cover or other enemies were destroyed by previous shots in the same burst. Edit: Or overpenetration making shots hits both even if the front one doesn't die.
@@CLARENCErr burst really shines ones you unlock feats and get items that boost it. Combine it with a high Ballistic skill and it mows down multiple enemies per burst with insane precision.
Burst can be anywhere from junk to ridiculously OP depending on what weapon and build you use. I will be having a variety of build videos coming soon showing off some of the hilarity
Got a lot more guides coming. Make sure to look out for my fully colony (economy) guide and review of all 10 companions (which I will be splitting into two videos). Those will all be coming in next few days.
Thanks for the video ! Quick question : Does trader reset their store ? Like a rotation or something like that. Or, if I buy those 5 Medpacks, they'll never come back again ?
It’s weird. No reset, but everything is “free” once you meet the profit threshold. However, there are colony “projects” that give you one time med packs etc that supposedly “refresh”, but it may have been bugged in last version. I will be doing an extensive colony video soon. This game has a LOT of systems that are inter-connected.
I wouldnt be surprised if we saw some reworks done to the economy and how it functions. They have a good system, but I could see them really expanding it to reflect a more dynamic economy across your protectorates. But who knows
@sandman4663 you can have dramatically different colony development , which has a huge impact on your economic strength. My next video focuses on it. My profit rating is 107 now and I have room for growth. And your conviction preference has a major impact on what options you pick at colonies. Its quite fascinating
well they did just release another dlc to pathfinder a few days ago. However im guessing this is them branching out. The WH40k universe is quite popular, so opportunity to get new eyes on their projects.
Anyone who is super familiar with pathfinder will notice a lot of reused stuff. The char creation is almost a copy paste of alot of the hairstyles and models etc . Not that thats a problem just something i noticed
As someone that has played both games extensively, I would say rogue trader is much much deeper. One uses a battle car to get around one uses a void ship. If you don’t count the expansions in wasteland 3, this game has more content In my opinion.
@@LeeroyGaming I miss dark crusade and all the factions and campaigns and would love to see that again or a TBS like this as Tau or imperial guard or Tyranid or even Voltan or what not. What faction for you?
I’ve done testing on my iPhone (between 50 and 75 percent volume) and on my pc. In my personal tests the volume was pretty good. I had previously had certain sections be too loud for individuals. Are other individuals experiencing the volume as too low as well? I can up the recording volume but then I fear the average volume may be too loud.
Im watching on PC and came right from another video so the difference was very noticable, at least for me. I guess a tip would be to compare it to some random videos from other creators to find a good volume that matches them. At least if other people are having the same issue :D@@LeeroyGaming
If paradox made it , it would have 1/2 the content and then you’d get $300 in expansions over the next 5 years lol. With that being said I love paradox, but I also love owlcat games with their “little dev engine that could” mentality. Sure they have more bugs at launch than a Bethesda game, but they stay committed to each of their games until they are just right and then some.
Great tips, thanks for these! Only recently started the game but can already see these being super helpful 😄
Game is insanely deep. Have much more content to come
Awesome beginner tips! Thanks.
Ty!
Thanks so much! Very helpful for a beginner like myself ;) Earned you a new sub ;)
A lot more coming. Expecting videos almost daily this week. Lots of guides to save you headaches

Nice, ty for the tips
Tip 1. Wait until the game is patched and re-balanced.

So...wait until today?
@20storiesunder one of many to come…
way too much Spoilers !! BEWARE !!

Don't know if it's bugged or if I'm misunderstanding the mechanics, but I noticed burst shots can still hit enemies even with a 0% hit rate.

Dont know how i missed making a layout for my party formation. Was looking for a button like in BG3, thanks for the tips man!
I agree, I spent way too long in beta before I found it as well. Figured I wasn’t only one
What an excellent video, these are really frickin helpful. Thank you.

Super useful tips here, thanks.
Thanks for the support.
Some of the items I pick up seem to be mission specific or just junk (letters etc) and I can’t add them to cargo, should I just drop them?
There is no inventory limit. I wouldn’t waste time dropping items.
Thanks for the video !

Thank you! This game is fun, but not user-friendly. This helped.
Great guide as always!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Brilliant tips video, thankyou 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
Best "Best Tips" I have seen so far, thanks!
Lots more guides to come next week. Hoping to have a new video daily.
The best guide yet!
why did they move on from Pathfinder?
well they did just release another dlc to pathfinder a few days ago. However im guessing this is them branching out. The WH40k universe is quite popular, so opportunity to get new eyes on their projects.
@@LeeroyGaming It just feels like a massive step backwards from WOTR. Thanks for replying though!
Good tips ty. Was worried about the permanent injuries one.

Well, not necessary to event the wheel every time. It's hard enough to work into all abilities in each owlcat game
thx just got the game. for the algorithim
Great tip about trading via the factotum!
many thanks great help
Thx alot!
The game itself is much more closed off then wasteland 3

need more games like this with all the factions !
Agreed

Wanna gam with da boyzzz. Do waaagh paint gun

@Creepler89 hopefully you were able to at least adjust this one to be loud enough :)
I’m having zero problems. 🤷🏻♂️
Bonus tip 11 ftw.
Take whatever advantage you can get!
@@LeeroyGaming Lol, I just stumbled on that trick last night! Also, thank you for the video. Loving all the guides.
Ya know, having those thick power cords laying around in the middle of a walk way is a serious trip hazard.
if only parodox games made this.
