So true! Manny, Yonder and Hoz know each other real well, so the comfort level is high! Manny and Yonder are brother-in-laws, and Hoz and Manny were in each others wedding. Thanks for watching and recognizing that!
New to this channel. As a long-suffering padres fan, i love hearing your stories hos! Big fan when the padres signed you. Sad it didn't work out, bro. But hey, you are doing great with this podcast. Congrats on the podcast and your new family!
I'm a new subscriber to this new pod, but can I make a suggestion - that y'all find a way to open episodes by weaving in guest intros? The most interesting thing about Manny Machado is not him being part of an elite circle of Jordan brand athletes in baseball, imo. I would introduce him as a current top elite 3rd baseman in MLB, debuted at the young age of just 20, decorated Gold Glove winner, however many time All-Star, and in 2018 as a first time free agent, he signed a 10-year, $300 million contract with the Padres, the richest contract in the history of North American sports at the time. And that's just Manny; Yonder had an impressive career too that many may forget. I know y'all are friends but your audience may not know or forget all their accolades and accomplishments. Love the pod!
Happy to have you in the Diggin’ Deep community! We love feedback and hearing from anyone watching 🙏 the “cold open” and “straight into conversation” style of this podcast is a deliberate creative decision and what allows us to do what we do. We’re bringing you right into a conversation among friends and professionals- we’re very purposeful to not fall into an “interview” style. However…we totally get and appreciate your point and can discuss working in some “tells” if they come naturally in the intro and convo. The description on RUclips and the podcast platforms should have a short bio of the guest. The most crucial thing for us- natural conversations and creating a comfortable, open environment for our guests so that they speak their mind authentically, and that future guests are open to joining us. Can’t wait to show you everything we have in store for you! Thanks 🙌
Great episode gents. Love seeing Manny and Yonder letting loose and talking relaxed. This says a lot about Hoz and his crew having good questions and themes to speak about. As much hate as Hoz got in SD, just know there are plenty of fans that actually respected you. Keep up the good content gents and take care!
Would love a 2014-2015 boys in blue interview, and to touch on the ventura topic. I as a lot of royals fans felt that spark leave. And it's taken years to rebound from that. Would love to hear from the perspective of the guys that were in the clubhouse.
Very cool of him! He and I’m sure some other Padres are probably friends with some SEALS since they train there in San Diego. Some of those guys are bigger than the players. Elite athletes in their own right!
This podcast makes me wish Hosmer’s last several seasons in his career were All-Star seasons. Guy is dope af. I’ll never understand why ppl hate on bro. 305 Hos is THAT GUY
Thanks for watching! Moylan is the man!! We'll be having an episode focused on his journey from Australia to the Big Leagues soon. Plenty of laughs in that episode 🤣
Love this Podcast! All you guys have interesting points and funny stories. Me personally I like to hear the logistics of being in the Majors and how you guys go about getting your work in and playing. Manny MVP year incoming!🔥 Go Pads!
Interesting discussion. I wish the venture much success... One thing I hope that Players focus most on playing actual winning baseball for their representative cities and fanbase and being good human beings. Reduce the distractions and serve the organization and teammates. As Machado intimated, maintaining the passing down of knowledge and holding new players accountable and shaping the future clubhouse leaders in important. Work on branding and diverse business interest less until after retirement.
sup Hos always rootednfor you while you were in SD i dont know what more they wanted from you. But good to sde you still talk to Manny hes def the main gear in SD
Did someone tell hosmer he ain’t working hard cause he keeps mentioning the taking care of the body thing haha he’s right tho body> the other nonsense people think make a difference
SD loves you Manny !!!
I love how open manny is in this. There’s this manny than the media manny and I understand both but this is fun I enjoy him opening up more 😊

Watching Manny as a rookie with the Orioles was something else! The plays he would make were unbelievable.
This show is great coming from a baseball fan. The conversations are natural and genuine. ⚾️

Nice to see Manny Machado wearing that hat showing support of Charles Keating IV a US Navy Seal killed in combat operations in Iraq in 2016. 🇺🇸

Because he didnt seem to care after he got paid. He has made some comments that were inferred as negative.
Another stellar episode. So happy to see Peter Moylan on here. One of the true Rock N' Rollers of the MLB.
Thanks for watching! Moylan is the man!! We'll be having an episode focused on his journey from Australia to the Big Leagues soon. Plenty of laughs in that episode 🤣
@@DigginDeepPodcast looking forward to the episode on Peter's journey. Thanks again for putting these episodes together.
