Best manager in the game.. has been for a LONG time so glad to see him back in the manager chair where he belongs. Living in TX now being so close to the Rangers stadium I get to see him a few times a year now. I would run through a wall for that guy. Great show brothers.
Crazy it took him that long!! Some plp with no experience get it right away!! The other one is Kai Correa… great infield coach, becomes interim head coach, then the Giants find someone else and let him go!! 🤷♂️
I miss seeing how animated he was on the bench during a play lol one of the top Ranger Managers of all time.. but we are blessed to have Bochy now tho.. especially after the managers we had since Wash left.
Hoz and boyz, this is by far my favorite episode, and you have had some amazing shows. But Ron Washington is one of the most inspirational leaders in baseball, and this interview has made me a believer. Who wouldnt run through a wall for this guy and those like him? As a high school teacher, I want to be a leader like Wash for my students. If I end up as a principal someday, I want my school culture to emulate the same principles of communication, commitment, effort, attitude, and trust. Well done, guys. Excellent interview. Way to let the man cook! I learned so much. I am better for having listened to you all you guys in this episode. So much imparted wisdom. This is exactly what you want Diggin' Deep to be. I love baseball so much, but this is about so much more than baseball. Keep up the good work! Thank you for what you do! Go Royals! -Heath
I’m glad this podcast was on my feed. This was refreshing. These are the type of men that you need to learn from and be around. Old school, no none sense, take care of your responsibilities types. I’ve followed these for a while and have always respected how they go about business. It was only a matter of time before they got another opportunity. As a father, I’d be honored to have my son tutored by them. I’m rooting for the Angels to have success.
Rangers fan here. We love Coach Washington.. so much. So happy he got his ring with the Braves. I’m happy we got our ring this past year, because I’m afraid Coach might figure something out with the Angels.. good luck Coach!
God! I know you're probably having a nap, or are at lunch or something, but THANK YOU FOR RON WASHINGTON! I FREAKING ADORE HIM. RonWash is a baseball deity. A stellar human being. Smart smart man! This guy has done it all. He is a deep thinker, who practices what he preaches. He gets it.
Lifelong Rangers fan and even though the Rangers won the World Series with a different coach, I think Ron Washington was the greatest Rangers coach ever as of today
good stuff - love hearing from recently retired players and a great manager and teacher in Ron Washington - the game needs ambassadors to improve the game.
If you don't like Ron Washington, you are the problem. I sat beside the Angels dugout in Baltimore last week about 10 ft from Mr. Washington. By the 2nd inning of the first game he was my favorite coach of all-time. The way he communicated with his players is ZERO bullshit from top to bottom. Commands respect without forcing it. Hard to do with guys making millions playing a game.
Great podcast. The only thing I would suggest is to work on how the questions flow out during the conversation. I felt that sometimes questions were asked and they interrupted the flow of the conversation or took it away from where it was at. Nonetheless, great to see you guys articulate and have great convos.
When EY played for my Padres in 2005, the players called him "The Judge" bcuz he was one of those vets on the team that kept everybody in line...they won a division that season. And Wash' is "my Uncle in my head" ...he just don't know it. Two of my favorite cats in the game, bcuz they gon' "keep it a buck" with you 24/7. If you want some bullshit, don't step to them, bruh.
I live in between angels & dodgers stadium , its definitely a dodger town but Ron wash & company will have the angels buzzin IF arte moreno doest F it up… im a dodgers fan but i think southern california is better if both teams are playing great baseball.. the angels organization needed a reset badly and i think wash and company are exactly what they need!
Would love a 2014-2015 boys in blue interview, and to touch on the ventura topic. I as a lot of royals fans felt that spark leave. And it's taken years to rebound from that. Would love to hear from the perspective of the guys that were in the clubhouse.
😢 🙏🙏Blessings forever GOD loves y'all too forever tell everyone you know and don't know. Jesus loves y'all too forever. Teach everyone how to see and enjoy their blessings too forever
Coaches should be baseball experts educated in analytics. They should the experts in the wisdom gained through experience but be able to understand the information goes comes from the scientists who crunch numbers. The number crunchers have no clue on how the game actually works but they are brilliant mathematicians etc often they come up with BS that is not actually practical or even wrong even though their analytics say otherwise. The same happens in physics and medicine etc . That's why things have to be tested before they are implemented, most theories are wrong even when they are based on data.
This is my new favorite podcast! Love hearing and learning from the greats like Ron Washington.
Love to hear it! Glad to have you here. More on the way…
I think Ron Washington and E.Y. will do wonders in Anaheim ⚾️ 🔥 👏🏽
I hope so the last 2 games have been bs
The only reason why I'll watch the Angels us because of these guys
As a braves fan agreed!

Ron Washington was a Gem for The Atlanta Braves. He is sorely missed in Atlanta.
I'm a braves fan.. I'm going to miss these guys
I could listen to Wash for hours. As a lifelong Angels fan, we need him to restore culture first and foremost. Then winning will come.
I’m gonna miss Wash and EY here in A town, but man I’m so happy to see him finally get that manager job.. he really wanted it and he earned it.
Crazy it took him that long!! Some plp with no experience get it right away!! The other one is Kai Correa… great infield coach, becomes interim head coach, then the Giants find someone else and let him go!! 🤷♂️
Lifetime Rangers fan. I wish Wash was still here. Most favorite Ranger manager ever
Same man, hate that we gotta root against him when we play them.
Love wash but I love boch more
I miss seeing how animated he was on the bench during a play lol one of the top Ranger Managers of all time.. but we are blessed to have Bochy now tho.. especially after the managers we had since Wash left.

Ron Washington and Eric Young Sr are among the cream of the crop of managers/coaches! If the Angels listen to those guys, that team may get dangerous!
I’m glad this podcast was on my feed. This was refreshing. These are the type of men that you need to learn from and be around. Old school, no none sense, take care of your responsibilities types.

God Im so happy Ron is managing again. He deserves it more than anyone. Great interview.
the man such a OG love Mr.Ron
Rangers fan here. We love Coach Washington.. so much. So happy he got his ring with the Braves. I’m happy we got our ring this past year, because I’m afraid Coach might figure something out with the Angels.. good luck Coach!
This interview was fire. I love Mr Washington mind set , sharing this with my my son his 15 and loves playing ball.

My Windmill Wash bobblehead sits in a sacred location. Wash and EY.. I'm so happy for you. You brought me so much joy in 2021, go get yours!
The best baseball podcast episode I've ever seen!
Awesome stuff right there! Love Ron Washington!
Wash! One of the best to ever do it! ⚾️
just found this podcast-rangers fan here so ron will always have a special place in my heart. keep up the great work
Thank you so much to EY and Wash for their years contributed to the game….but especially to the bravos! Congrats on the new gig
Lifelong Rangers fan and even though the Rangers won the World Series with a different coach, I think Ron Washington was the greatest Rangers coach ever as of today
And I thought I liked EY and Wash before.... Damn this was a great conversation
Everyone in the room was ready to go to war for Washington & EY 😤
Wash and EY are a dream team
This podcast is going to blow up. It's just too good not to! Love this guys keep 'em coming!!
Ron Washington is THE MAN!
I did not know this podcast existed until today, I already subscribed. I love Wash's style. Following from Colombia in South America
good stuff - love hearing from recently retired players and a great manager and teacher in Ron Washington - the game needs ambassadors to improve the game.
So happy to say he’s the manager of my team even if that’s one of the few good things 😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽
Gotta love Ron
This episode is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Uncle Ron is a legend
Another awesome episode.. Best of luck to Ron and Eric with the Angels. Looking forward to the next one of these.
Thanks for watching! Excited to bring you more shows like this one!
Subbed for Moylan. Loved watchin u play in ATL. hope u stay with the franchise you bring insight to the broadcast ❤
This a gem 💎

Angels are so lucky to have them. I know ATL misses them like crazy.
This was awesome! I miss Wash already
Outstanding interview!
Tremendous value! 🔥
Wash & EY bringing that wisdom!
Great podcast. The only thing I would suggest is to work on how the questions flow out during the conversation. I felt that sometimes questions were asked and they interrupted the flow of the conversation or took it away from where it was at. Nonetheless, great to see you guys articulate and have great convos.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. needs this man in his life.
GOLD 👏🏼💯
Great stuff here!
Two of the best!
ATL gonna miss those men
If I was the Angels owner I'd tell the team. It's Washington's way or the highway. I'd replace the team like he said.
When EY played for my Padres in 2005, the players called him "The Judge" bcuz he was one of those vets on the team that kept everybody in line...they won a division that season. Wish wash got the millwakee or cubs job I can't see the angles being good anytime soon
47:34 might be talking about zach neto

3 knocks!
yo, my man got his knocks, didnt he? 😆😆😆
My second comment on here. Coach Washington needs to get Anthony Rendon out of that locker room.
Man, I really think losing both Eric and Ron are a lost for the Braves !!
I knew I missed Wash already, but man this made it hurt worse.
Would love a 2014-2015 boys in blue interview, and to touch on the ventura topic. I as a lot of royals fans felt that spark leave. And it's taken years to rebound from that. Would love to hear from the perspective of the guys that were in the clubhouse.
I feel bad for both of these guys being dealt a bad hand with aging trout and no pitching!
Dope shiitake !
Ok thanks for sharing
I’m a wash fan. But man dudes got a hell of an ego . I like listening to guys who know a ton but don’t talk like they do.
You kind of need an ego to play and coach on the highest level….You can’t really separate it from competition…
“You see what I’m saying “
No
Don’t see how Rendon will last
E Y…….Rutgers University!!!
😢 🙏🙏Blessings forever GOD loves y'all too forever tell everyone you know and don't know. Jesus loves y'all too forever. Teach everyone how to see and enjoy their blessings too forever
😂😂😂
Taken it and run
The Angels are bogus they need new leader wish you the best, maybe get new clubhouse dance celebration

I like wash and want him to do well.. sort of. Except I want him to get fired and back to the Braves, too. So.... yeah.
