I'll be straight up... pre-germ or no pre-germ it all ends up looking the same 😂 but seriously Kentucky bluegrass should be the only grass seed pre-germ cause it takes forever to establish... but rye can germinate as fast as 3 days so no need ☺️🤙🏾

That weed that you were asking about is called Glyceria also known as manna grass
I thought Glyceria was a lot taller than that... this one is like short and shaped like a king's sceptre 😂🤙🏾
Renovating my lawn late spring into summer temp low 45-55 high 76-80 degree. Spreading blackout perennial ryegrass. Could I used Kelp + yucca and hydretain to help with keeping it moist and preventing it from drying out? On a newly seeded lawn.
Yes that will def help you're gonna want some phosphorus as well to help with faster root growth on the seedlings... just keep a ton of water on it! ☺️🤙🏾

How long do you water per section for a new lawn. I’m putting in a new lawn and I live a few miles away.
It depends on your irrigation... so across the street Rick as in ground and he only waters for 3 minutes, while rick next door has orbit gear drive above ground system he goes 15 minutes at a time, same with me orbit gear drive above ground 15 minutes also...
you want to keep it moist but not drench it, you don't want to wash the seed away ☺️🤙🏾

I'll be straight up with you... prograss isn't tackling what we have in our lawns it's not annua its Triv... annua can be easily taken care of by generic "ethofumesate" you can purchase for under $100 my dude ☺️🤙🏾

It shouldn't cause we have till august here in the Pacific Northwest until it's blazing... so as long as I keep feeding the roots we should be fine! I'm also a water whore in the summer and I'll be watering his as well on top of his schedule! ☺️🤙🏾

Only point I would bring up is that every neighborhood has common grass areas just about at every corner of every Block all throughout the entire neighborhood just baffles me how people decide to go to someone else’s yard instead and I’m pretty sure the dog owner is in complete control of their dog with the leash and deciding where to walk their dog not the other way around. Also, the biggest concern of all is them not picking up the dog poop and just leaving the dog poop there
Nope. Corner lot has every right to leave them up. We get the most trash in our yard, including irresponsible pet owners

Norcal has a ton of Bermuda grass and should be decent in summer... you guys have drought restrictions though so it can be tough... stay on top of your hydretain, wetting agents as well was wetting retainers ☺️🤙🏾
