D3 Gaming ‘twas all 60 or so that I opened. Compared to some of the poor souls that I’ve seen in his comment section, I was lucky to get all my rare blades in about 700 cores total- commons included.
I just now awakened a legendary core and guess what that darn common said "HEY YOU JUST WASTED YOUR TIME LOOKING FOR ME ONLY TO GET A COMMON CAT RING BLADE"
For added referance the *Beta scope* is easily obtained from a level 75 bat unique monster in the gormott province, fast travel to zenos deadbole and go northwest to a cave to find it
This is probably the best core crystal farming guide I've seen so far. Too many guides either tell you to farm common/rare cores from Krabbles or don't go into enough detail, this video hits all the bases. Good job!
Nobody here is gonna believe me but my first rare blade from a core crystal was COS-MOS on my first playthrough. I’m in new game + now but if I sort through my blades chronologically on the Manage Blades screen, from the very bottom it goes Dromarch, Uzuki (my common knuckle claws blade), Poppi Alpha, and then COS-MOS. I have no other friends to brag about this to because they’re not into Xenoblade so this has just been burning a hole in me because of how cool this is and I just need to tell SOMEONE.
@@nozenkyuzero Nice! Yeah, I wish I knew how to use her better but I had no idea how the combat worked. I was pretty sure she was rare but didn’t know she was THAT rare. And then as soon as I got Mythra I really didn’t know what to do with her since she was on Rex and I wanted better elemental coverage on my blades since I had to have Pyra/Mythra equipped. I could have overdrived her but I wasn’t sure if that was worth it or not, nor did I know about Rex gaining that one ability later on in the game. There was a lot of stuff I didn’t know, but I’m glad I understand the game a lot better now.

@@nozenkyuzero Yeah, she’s great once you learn how to use her skills and specials, and even better in new game + since you don’t have to have story blades on constantly and also you get a lot more overdrive protocols and can buy them with experience renewably somewhat. Nia’s not that bad of a driver for her either since she has a high ether stat too. Actually I think she’s the 2nd best driver for her, with the 5th party member being the best (I know you probably know who they are but I just want to be safe lol)

honestly for the gold chips, if you're already high level i would recommend farming the vampire bride marion you can use the driver combos to get multiple chips and it's easier to respawn it from the tombstone.
(LATE GAME LOCATION SPOILERS AHEAD) Another tip, for finding Fast Blade Switch V Aux cores. If I remember correctly you can get 3 free ones that I know of. 1. Merc Mission "Mysterious Life form" Tantal. 2. Chest just before the end of the long platform, left side (World Tree>Mid Level>7th Perimeter Skyport). 3. Chest at the end of the street, don't remember which end (First Low Orbit Station>Upper Level>Hill Overlooking Elysium). Hope that helps, please correct me if I am mistaken :).

Daniel Carrera That is true, but that just means that you have a 1/3 chance of getting better drop Chance. (Or you can do what I do: First seal off reinforcements. Then, go through another blade combo that features wind as the final hit. If your healer doesn’t own the second potential element in that combo chain, he/she will stand at level 3 wind for the whole time your level 2 chain is active. This means guaranteed Adenine.)
Excellent guide ! As of 2023, I'll add you can also farm Gold Chip with the unique monster "Vampire Bride Marion", which I consider more efficient because she has more hp = more combo, can also drop rare / legendary core in addition, and you can spawn her at will with her tombstone !

Works like a charm for me. Thanks a ton! I just had to be sure to remove a special from Poppi that gave her a topple ability because Tora kept switching away from his launching special to try to topple after he broke them, but Rex had just toppled it. It kept happening and was frustrating. Plus, Rex won't freaking launch for some reason with Agate, but it doesn't matter because this way they alternate almost perfectly. And I find it hard to get the rubberband method to pick up everything I need, so I'm sticking to manual, but it's not bad at all. Thanks again!
Kind of annoying they didn't just give you the ability to swap core chips in and out rather than overwriting what you've got equipped, the gold chips are a pretty big downgrade for me, but farming my last blade (Agate) is taking forever.
I totally feel you. The reason why I used Tora as a 3rd with gold chips is because I spent all my good chips on Morag XD! Common blades are always an option!
Followed this list. Got Kos-Mos (final blade) after 10 legendary cores. Of course I was holding every dark common blade in existence so that probably helped in some kind of way. Going to get 99 legendary and 99 rare before I get into New Game+ and the DLC blades. Thanks a whole bunch.
Leonine Sadie in Temperantia is only level 95, and drops legendary cores very rapidly just like Arduran. if you cant be assed to feed the ardun, maybe you already killed it, or youre too weak for Reeking Douglass, go to southeast Temperantia. Reeking Douglass has very low hp, and youll spend a lot of time respawning him, then killing him in 2 or 3 combos. Leonine Sadie has millions of hp, and spawning her once can be a 20 minute battle of nonstop core grabbing!
The most insulting thing for me is I KEEP SEEING NEWT'S SILHOUETTE. It's so frustrating seeing her shadow appear and just never getting her. Missing her, Dahlia, Gorg, and Agate.
I did find my own method of farming. From what i can tell, whenever i use chain attacks and get an overkill while bursting orbs, i am guaranteed a rare core crystal and sometimes even a legendary core as well. I dont know if what i had equipped helped but it worked multiple times. Legendary cores vary but rares dropped frequently each time.
@@Diamond_2403 I remember it was unique enemies. They tend to drop rares or legendaries more often than any other enemy. Enemies that are higher level also have a chance to drop rare cores as well but is not guaranteed. Using the break, topple, launch, smash combo is the common farming method but drops are random. Uniques grant the highest chance. There's an Armu you need to nurture and grow and once it reaches full maturity, it becomes a unique and then becomes farmable. It's an end game farm however.
lol I got kos-mos while farming for justice boosters using rare core crystals. So don't count rare core crystals out! Now I continue grinding for Zenobia, my last one 😌

I was legit about to start up this guide again but I literally just pulled Kos Mos from a rare core. Im only on chapter 8 I am so happy I dont need to grind core crystals again.
Malicious Dimitri in Land of Morytha can also drop Legendary Core Crystals through Driver Combos. I got quite a few since Jin can preform Driver Combos on his own.
@@arikaaa69 I'm joking around!! Homestly I'm struggling too, but I've found that if you dont feel like doing too much to farm, killing the Insectivore Malcom in Gormott a few times can get you a couple good core Crystals :)
Weird thing is, Tora is like the only one of my party members that actively switches his blades to do the full smash combo while the others focus solely on using only a blade for an element combo so sometimes tora will do a smash combo by himself as soon as the enemy is broken
For me, AI Rex kept taking aggro from AI Tora and dying. With the controller set up, Nia missed a few legendary cores. In the end I let Rex and Tora do their thing, collected cores with Nia and, healed Rex when needed. If you have cloud back-up via nintendo online member ship you can save scum core awakenings. Just make sure you disable auto-back-up. My last three blades in order were Adenine, Ursula and KOS-MOS. (early-mid chapter 9 but that doesn't really matter).
This is definitely the best method I've seen. I went into the battle with 21 rare cores and 0 legendary. I just set up seal stench (I don't know how much it mattered because I still don't even know what stench does, I just know its breath attack was annoying and it had stench.) and driver comboed it until it died and left with 99 rare cores and 39 legendary cores.
DaOrangeJuice Basically Stench os probably the most worthless debuff in the game, all it does is make your blade move away from you, but for some reason, the distance they move away doesnt even matter for affinity distance
It’s supposed to make you be unable to use specials since you have to have an affinity link with your blade to use them. However it’s kind of bugged at the moment, so the affinity line distance increasing items are just extra money in your pocket.
THANKS SO MUCH, DUDE. Within 20 min. I was able to get 13 Legendaries and 33 Rare crystals. Because I only used 2 gold ships, that is. But even so I got those crystals very quickly ;)
I remember hoping to get vale and my friends laughing about how if I want vale i'm going to have a worse time getting kos-mos when lo and behold kos-mos summoning happened. They stared and I screamed I don't want you I wanted vale. (was back in ch. 9) Beat the game opened a core I got from the final boss and got T-elos, immediately opened a second one and got vale. Then burned through 70 ish rare and 10 ish legendaries and no floren and nim. Oddly got Zenobia and ursula in ch. 2.
I do need a bunch of legendary core crystals so I can get 4 Crown blades to I get overdrive protocols so I can switch my blades around because most of them are on suboptimal characters. Prisons I have Electra on Rex and Rex sucks at using hammers. As for giving blades to Rex I can just use ultimate driver because I'm almost at that point in the game.
the seprond don't seem to drop any items for me, so far i only got a laughable amount of money. I even decked my party out with luck boosting stuff, not even a common core so far
Cool! I'm around eighty, so I'm doing that to Vampire Bride Marion . It's good ´cause it drops the gold chips I need, plus Legendary Cores, also, it's a unique monster so it takes a while. I also read through the comments and am gonna try the cloud save thing.
first of all i have to say that the guide is really good and it helped me in the beginning, but i found that for me farming cloud sea king ken (giant squid lv114, great pillar passage at foggy weather) worked way better. i made around 8-15 legys per run + all the moonmatter chips, only draw back is the he is of course way stronger(started arming him at lvl 85 w rex nia and morag), but that just means u can get more smashes in. i also have the feeling he has a little less breack resistance then dougless (that being said i have 2 legendary beta scopes). One run with him takes a little longer but if u allways keep ur blade combo on and get lucky with the break u can basically keep smashing him all the time without him giving you to much trouble
Just wanted to say, this is a fantastic guide. Normally I dislike these videos ever since GTA V launched, cause everyone and their mother wanted to be the "Hey guys, like, comment, and subscribe" tool, but this is is very very well done.
I got the gold chips I needed, as well as the overclocking bangle. For some reason, I can't get the multiple legendary core crystals to appear. Maybe it doesn't work for everyone.
My build was Rex/Mythra/Gorg/Roc Nia/Dromarch/Adenine/Vess Morag/Brighid/Kasandra/Theory Although not all of the exact blades matters. What matters is they are different weapons. Putting the Chroma Knuckles on Nia has the result of Nia swapping blades more often, creating more opportunties to Break. If she only has Breaking blades she only switches when she needs to heal. For the same reason, Morag has Break/Topple/Smash blades to cycle through to increase Break opportunities.
Dharengo You don't even need to grind Morag out with Rare blades. 2 of Tora's blades are obtained through story, while the other is obtained by an easy sidequest.
I found it quicker to farm common cores; fill up your blade list with dark element blades; and bond away; got kosmos and perceval pretty quickly using this method; let all other common blades go of other elements
The best monster to farm on is the superboss king-ken in tantal. You will be not only farming rare/legendary cores from this monster, you will also want his moon matter chip (best critical chip in the game) and experience points for leveling up. Yes, he is however slightly more difficult than that lv104 rat in Gormott. You will be farming the moon matter chips and got legendary cores as bonus.
Actually, the Moon Matter chip doesn't have the highest crit rate, only some blades get their max crit rate from it (like Mythra) but for some reason, a lot of other blades get higher crit rate from the Mirror Matter Chip
You know the other alternatives to moon matter? I haven't figure out exactly, what should I give to Dromarch and those ether canon blades in order to get high crit (at least 50%) or high block ( at least 50%) or somewhere in the middle (25-30% on both crit and block).
Basically, I mainly use only 2 paths: crit heal (moon matter) or extreme tank build (dilaton (block rate) or pentagon (agility)). I am currently ignoring those Blades, which can not go on any of those path. That is why I am hoping to come up with a good build on those blades, which can not have high block or crit.
If anyone wanted to know an easier unique monster for levels 65+, Mk. VI Gerolf is a fairly simple one. You can get on average 7-10 Legendary Core Crystals per fight. If you can maneuver enough you could probably get a few more. Just try to stop it's DMG absorbing attack, that's the biggest threat. It's located in Lv. 3, Alioth of The World Tree.
The Main Man Ray I just did this and I got only 5 rare core crystals. And that’s with me having all gold chips/silver chips, Having Adenine, having all the store deeds that increase the 10% item drop, and I constantly spam the BTLS Combo. I get more rare and legendary crystals off the Lv.56 soul eating stanley in Morytha
Andrew A. If your using Silver chips then that might conflict with the item drops since Silver Chips increase the "Gold Drop rate" from enemies not Items. I have Adenine item drop +100% skill on the affinity chart and all 9 blades are using Gold chips. Try to get that set up and see if it helps :D. Good luck to you.
im not level 99 yet, only about level 60 or so, and im not good with equipment spreads >.> just going to find a good unique monster i know i can beat and get the full combo off on since i dont think i could pull this off
Almost finished a video on this topic to be up this Saturday! Until then, I'd recommend you level from 76 to about 81 by fighting the Tirkins in the Lower Level of Tantal. I believe they are located on at a landmark location just Northeast of the Central Ether Boulder. Maybe it's called the Lumos Pedastal? Forgot :S But then go for the giant T-rexes in Temperantia until level 90!
The most infuriating part about xeno 2 is that you need something like this to get the last couple blades. I only need Ursula, Newt, and Parzival and I've used dozens of crystals with no luck.
Just got my second to last Rare thanks to his method. As for KOS MOS, yeah I’ve given up hope of ever getting her. Might as well have a 0% appearance rate with my shitty luck
sea king is also SUPPPER easy to farm he breaks alot and no minions mind now I just gotta work out the best blades to break the last seals in zenobias quest
IIRC the effect of gold chips only kicks in if the blade that has it equipped does the killing blow/smash art, so i don't think you need it on every single blade in your party
Definetly seems like a method I can get behind. Now only If I can get the hang of setting up orbs for a full burst....almost 80 hrs and I've only done 1
I probably won't bother trying to grind all those items and such to increase drop rate, considering I have all my weapons as strong as possible, and have no spares of those chips, but I'll probably fight that lvl 104 guy again sometime. He's surprisingly easy at lvl 78. I expected to lose instantly.
I followed your advice and on my first relentless i got 28 legendaries and about 60 chips that were better than my 8 precious forest chips i had been hoarding since my level 80 days.

Is there really much to do after you defeated the game and have reached say level 99? Seems there are just a few high level bosses like level 130 or so, but doesn't seem like there is really anything left in this game to do, but kill high level NPC's. 2:29 I tried to fight it at LV 83, everything was going better than expected, when he called for help I just went outside the cave and only the boss follow me and I finish him easily, maybe I was just lucky
Nick Conter I meant something if you asked me it was these giant robot things that gave a LOT of Experience:There were these staff things that called every enemy in its range (I noticed right now that you should know that) I just let in boss in the last arena before SPOILER fight respawn and got 5 levels hifher(63-68)👌
If you usr your setup you can get more legendary cores from the vampire monster in uraya after the quest... you also get gold chips from it and max attack v aux pieces... just thought you should know
The gold chips are great! I think that boss is fantastic for earlier stages in the game. However, it also drops common cores, which generally slows down the legendary core drop rate when compared to the lv99 Arduran

That's a bit shocking! It was a lot smoother for me. I would say make sure you install your Gold Chips as soon as you get them. There should be an exponential increase in drop rate as you get more chips. Once you get a few, they should be droppin' like candy. Perform the Driver Combo more often as you kill them and that could help, as you force item drops after the end of every driver combo! And thanks :]

1:00 Viewing this from near the end of Chapter 6, how does Rex have Pandoria? Isn't she linked to Zeke, and unable to be delinked (e.g. to go on Merc Missions, or replaced with another Blade)? Is this NG+, which I *know* removes this linking?
There's a point where Rex gets the ability to engage any blade, including the character-exclusive blades. If you engage one of those blades, it frees up that slot on that character, allowing them to have 3 of any blade they are bonded to.
Unfortunately for me, i can't equip any gold chip because i am in NG+ with some of the best end game chip on my blades. I don't think replacing core chips give me back the one the blade were holding. So, for some of the new blades, i may just have to farm the ardun as best as I can or just chain attack it to kill it. ANother good way to farm legendary core is to go to gormott and use the lv 75 UM vang. He is super easy to kill and drops legendary cores semi regularly, especially with the gold chips. You can also farm gold chip from the vampire bride UM in uraya i believe.
I played XB2 now around 90-95h and i'am in the World Tree right now... and damn me i killed the stupid Arduran... besides that i missed out of doing all the indol stuff... now i feel like i screwed up big times. Is it worth to Start Over or isnt that stuff not that important? I mean i could probably finish the game and wait for the New Game + Update or not?
How do you get the right blades on the right drivers? like what if i get a healing blade on not Nya? Is farming the core switch item thingy the only way?
I have a question guys A gold chip increase the chance of drops by 50%, but the Poppi RAM treasure sensor increase the chance by 100 %. Do they also stack with the others, then it would be more efficent. Thx for the answer :)
What monsters would you recommend around Level 60+ on Chapter 6 or so? I'm only missing about 7 random Blades, luckily, though two of those are ones I really want (Adenine and Ursula). xD And I'd rather not wait until endgame/postgame just to get some more, if possible. But I'll take it as I go...

dang nice one kos mos took awhile for me to get i think it was chapter 4 or 5 gave it to nia her second special arts is really good for healing

Another small thing you can do is put adenine(a wind healer) on the party member in charge of healing. Adenine has a passive similar to gold chips.

I just had to be sure to remove a special from Poppi that gave her a topple ability because Tora kept switching away from his launching special to try to topple after he broke them, but Rex had just toppled it. It kept happening and was frustrating. Plus, Rex won't freaking launch for some reason with Agate, but it doesn't matter because this way they alternate almost perfectly. And I find it hard to get the rubberband method to pick up everything I need, so I'm sticking to manual, but it's not bad at all. Thanks again!
Kind of annoying they didn't just give you the ability to swap core chips in and out rather than overwriting what you've got equipped, the gold chips are a pretty big downgrade for me, but farming my last blade (Agate) is taking forever.
I totally feel you. The reason why I used Tora as a 3rd with gold chips is because I spent all my good chips on Morag XD! Common blades are always an option!
Surprisingly enough my last blade was Zenobia, KOS-MOS was the third out of the final 8 I needed
Agate was one of my first blades soon after rescuing Nia but before the first Mórag battle
Followed this list. Got Kos-Mos (final blade) after 10 legendary cores. Of course I was holding every dark common blade in existence so that probably helped in some kind of way. Going to get 99 legendary and 99 rare before I get into New Game+ and the DLC blades. Thanks a whole bunch.
Ended up trading the Uraya bard in NG+ for Legendary Cores.

Leonine Sadie in Temperantia is only level 95, and drops legendary cores very rapidly just like Arduran. if you cant be assed to feed the ardun, maybe you already killed it, or youre too weak for Reeking Douglass, go to southeast Temperantia.
Reeking Douglass has very low hp, and youll spend a lot of time respawning him, then killing him in 2 or 3 combos. Leonine Sadie has millions of hp, and spawning her once can be a 20 minute battle of nonstop core grabbing!
*Its probably going to be that Emeru Tut Relentless Ardun that I killed by accident in the beginning of the game.*

I just got into the game and I'm loving your videos.
I did find my own method of farming. From what i can tell, whenever i use chain attacks and get an overkill while bursting orbs, i am guaranteed a rare core crystal and sometimes even a legendary core as well. I dont know if what i had equipped helped but it worked multiple times. Legendary cores vary but rares dropped frequently each time.
Dunno if you're gonna see this 5 years later but do you remember which enemy you farmed for guaranteed rares?
@@Diamond_2403 I remember it was unique enemies. They tend to drop rares or legendaries more often than any other enemy. Enemies that are higher level also have a chance to drop rare cores as well but is not guaranteed.
Using the break, topple, launch, smash combo is the common farming method but drops are random. Uniques grant the highest chance. There's an Armu you need to nurture and grow and once it reaches full maturity, it becomes a unique and then becomes farmable. It's an end game farm however.
lol I got kos-mos while farming for justice boosters using rare core crystals. So don't count rare core crystals out! Now I continue grinding for Zenobia, my last one 😌
wow literally just got Zenobia from a legendary core crystal using level 13 truth w/999 luck. It seems the arduran will no longer suffer

I was legit about to start up this guide again but I literally just pulled Kos Mos from a rare core. Im only on chapter 8 I am so happy I dont need to grind core crystals again.
Malicious Dimitri in Land of Morytha can also drop Legendary Core Crystals through Driver Combos. I got quite a few since Jin can preform Driver Combos on his own.

@@arikaaa69 I'm joking around!! Homestly I'm struggling too, but I've found that if you dont feel like doing too much to farm, killing the Insectivore Malcom in Gormott a few times can get you a couple good core Crystals :)
You can also put Treasure Sensor V on all of your versions of Poppi. It doubles the enemy item drop rate (100%)

Weird thing is, Tora is like the only one of my party members that actively switches his blades to do the full smash combo while the others focus solely on using only a blade for an element combo so sometimes tora will do a smash combo by himself as soon as the enemy is broken

For me, AI Rex kept taking aggro from AI Tora and dying. With the controller set up, Nia missed a few legendary cores. In the end I let Rex and Tora do their thing, collected cores with Nia and, healed Rex when needed. If you have cloud back-up via nintendo online member ship you can save scum core awakenings. Just make sure you disable auto-back-up. My last three blades in order were Adenine, Ursula and KOS-MOS. (early-mid chapter 9 but that doesn't really matter).

This is definitely the best method I've seen. I went into the battle with 21 rare cores and 0 legendary. I just set up seal stench (I don't know how much it mattered because I still don't even know what stench does, I just know its breath attack was annoying and it had stench.) and driver comboed it until it died and left with 99 rare cores and 39 legendary cores.
DaOrangeJuice Basically Stench os probably the most worthless debuff in the game, all it does is make your blade move away from you, but for some reason, the distance they move away doesnt even matter for affinity distance
It’s supposed to make you be unable to use specials since you have to have an affinity link with your blade to use them. However it’s kind of bugged at the moment, so the affinity line distance increasing items are just extra money in your pocket.
THANKS SO MUCH, DUDE. Within 20 min. I was able to get 13 Legendaries and 33 Rare crystals.
Because I only used 2 gold ships, that is. But even so I got those crystals very quickly ;)
The ardun is not getting break and I'm using one legendary break and two rare break is legendary a must?
I remember hoping to get vale and my friends laughing about how if I want vale i'm going to have a worse time getting kos-mos when lo and behold kos-mos summoning happened. They stared and I screamed I don't want you I wanted vale. (was back in ch. 9) Beat the game opened a core I got from the final boss and got T-elos, immediately opened a second one and got vale. Then burned through 70 ish rare and 10 ish legendaries and no floren and nim. Oddly got Zenobia and ursula in ch. 2.
I do need a bunch of legendary core crystals so I can get 4 Crown blades to I get overdrive protocols so I can switch my blades around because most of them are on suboptimal characters. Prisons I have Electra on Rex and Rex sucks at using hammers. As for giving blades to Rex I can just use ultimate driver because I'm almost at that point in the game.
Got all the stuff together and spammed Relentless Arduran for about 10 cores, my third one was KOS-MOS..... Thanks!
the seprond don't seem to drop any items for me, so far i only got a laughable amount of money. I even decked my party out with luck boosting stuff, not even a common core so far

first of all i have to say that the guide is really good and it helped me in the beginning, but i found that for me farming cloud sea king ken (giant squid lv114, great pillar passage at foggy weather) worked way better. i made around 8-15 legys per run + all the moonmatter chips, only draw back is the he is of course way stronger(started arming him at lvl 85 w rex nia and morag), but that just means u can get more smashes in. i also have the feeling he has a little less breack resistance then dougless (that being said i have 2 legendary beta scopes). One run with him takes a little longer but if u allways keep ur blade combo on and get lucky with the break u can basically keep smashing him all the time without him giving you to much trouble
Just wanted to say, this is a fantastic guide. Normally I dislike these videos ever since GTA V launched, cause everyone and their mother wanted to be the "Hey guys, like, comment, and subscribe" tool, but this is is very very well done.

I got the gold chips I needed, as well as the overclocking bangle. For some reason, I can't get the multiple legendary core crystals to appear. Maybe it doesn't work for everyone.
My build was
Rex/Mythra/Gorg/Roc
Nia/Dromarch/Adenine/Vess
Morag/Brighid/Kasandra/Theory
Although not all of the exact blades matters. What matters is they are different weapons.
Putting the Chroma Knuckles on Nia has the result of Nia swapping blades more often, creating more opportunties to Break. If she only has Breaking blades she only switches when she needs to heal.
For the same reason, Morag has Break/Topple/Smash blades to cycle through to increase Break opportunities.

Dharengo You don't even need to grind Morag out with Rare blades. 2 of Tora's blades are obtained through story, while the other is obtained by an easy sidequest.
I found it quicker to farm common cores; fill up your blade list with dark element blades; and bond away; got kosmos and perceval pretty quickly using this method; let all other common blades go of other elements
The best monster to farm on is the superboss king-ken in tantal. You will be not only farming rare/legendary cores from this monster, you will also want his moon matter chip (best critical chip in the game) and experience points for leveling up. Yes, he is however slightly more difficult than that lv104 rat in Gormott. You will be farming the moon matter chips and got legendary cores as bonus.
Actually, the Moon Matter chip doesn't have the highest crit rate, only some blades get their max crit rate from it (like Mythra) but for some reason, a lot of other blades get higher crit rate from the Mirror Matter Chip
You know the other alternatives to moon matter? I haven't figure out exactly, what should I give to Dromarch and those ether canon blades in order to get high crit (at least 50%) or high block ( at least 50%) or somewhere in the middle (25-30% on both crit and block).
Y'know, not EVERY blade is supposed to have such high crit...
(Well actually Roc can get over 70% crit but that's another story)
Basically, I mainly use only 2 paths: crit heal (moon matter) or extreme tank build (dilaton (block rate) or pentagon (agility)). I am currently ignoring those Blades, which can not go on any of those path.
That is why I am hoping to come up with a good build on those blades, which can not have high block or crit.
Make sure you cap out on cores even after you get every blade to be already set for the new blade dlc
If anyone wanted to know an easier unique monster for levels 65+, Mk. VI Gerolf is a fairly simple one. You can get on average 7-10 Legendary Core Crystals per fight. If you can maneuver enough you could probably get a few more. Just try to stop it's DMG absorbing attack, that's the biggest threat. It's located in Lv. 3, Alioth of The World Tree.
The Main Man Ray I just did this and I got only 5 rare core crystals. And that’s with me having all gold chips/silver chips, Having Adenine, having all the store deeds that increase the 10% item drop, and I constantly spam the BTLS Combo. I get more rare and legendary crystals off the Lv.56 soul eating stanley in Morytha
Andrew A. If your using Silver chips then that might conflict with the item drops since Silver Chips increase the "Gold Drop rate" from enemies not Items. I have Adenine item drop +100% skill on the affinity chart and all 9 blades are using Gold chips.
Try to get that set up and see if it helps :D. Good luck to you.
Don't forget you can actually have 10 gold chips equipped as Pyra/Mythra both count as active blades

Almost finished a video on this topic to be up this Saturday! Until then, I'd recommend you level from 76 to about 81 by fighting the Tirkins in the Lower Level of Tantal. I believe they are located on at a landmark location just Northeast of the Central Ether Boulder. Maybe it's called the Lumos Pedastal? Forgot :S But then go for the giant T-rexes in Temperantia until level 90!

The most infuriating part about xeno 2 is that you need something like this to get the last couple blades. I only need Ursula, Newt, and Parzival and I've used dozens of crystals with no luck.

You should be able to get this quest if you reset to new game + so no worries for anyone who killed it.
sea king is also SUPPPER easy to farm he breaks alot and no minions mind now I just gotta work out the best blades to break the last seals in zenobias quest
IIRC the effect of gold chips only kicks in if the blade that has it equipped does the killing blow/smash art, so i don't think you need it on every single blade in your party

I probably won't bother trying to grind all those items and such to increase drop rate, considering I have all my weapons as strong as possible, and have no spares of those chips, but I'll probably fight that lvl 104 guy again sometime. He's surprisingly easy at lvl 78. I expected to lose instantly.

I followed your advice and on my first relentless i got 28 legendaries and about 60 chips that were better than my 8 precious forest chips i had been hoarding since my level 80 days.

Seems there are just a few high level bosses like level 130 or so, but doesn't seem like there is really anything left in this game to do, but kill high level NPC's. If you usr your setup you can get more legendary cores from the vampire monster in uraya after the quest... you also get gold chips from it and max attack v aux pieces... just thought you should know
The gold chips are great! I think that boss is fantastic for earlier stages in the game. However, it also drops common cores, which generally slows down the legendary core drop rate when compared to the lv99 Arduran

Need some help, i have been 1 hour farming gold chips and i just got 1. I always finish with chain attack and i have equipped the comet choker for every one. Is there anything im missing? Or is just the gold chip drop that s**ks?

That's a bit shocking! It was a lot smoother for me. I would say make sure you install your Gold Chips as soon as you get them. There should be an exponential increase in drop rate as you get more chips. Once you get a few, they should be droppin' like candy. Perform the Driver Combo more often as you kill them and that could help, as you force item drops after the end of every driver combo! And thanks :]

I just figured out my problem, i was just stacking orbs and chain finishing the mob. Now i break, topple, launch and smash oftenly and i get 3 chips from a single mob. Took me 10 mins to gather all 9.

1:00 Viewing this from near the end of Chapter 6, how does Rex have Pandoria? Isn't she linked to Zeke, and unable to be delinked (e.g. to go on Merc Missions, or replaced with another Blade)?
Is this NG+, which I *know* removes this linking?
There's a point where Rex gets the ability to engage any blade, including the character-exclusive blades. If you engage one of those blades, it frees up that slot on that character, allowing them to have 3 of any blade they are bonded to.

Unfortunately for me, i can't equip any gold chip because i am in NG+ with some of the best end game chip on my blades. I don't think replacing core chips give me back the one the blade were holding. So, for some of the new blades, i may just have to farm the ardun as best as I can or just chain attack it to kill it. ANother good way to farm legendary core is to go to gormott and use the lv 75 UM vang. He is super easy to kill and drops legendary cores semi regularly, especially with the gold chips. You can also farm gold chip from the vampire bride UM in uraya i believe.
God... I feel so dirty for getting KOS-MOS first try with Nia right at the beginning of the game...

Ok, so both Tora and Nia have Legendary Beta Scopes equipped, but Relelntless Arduran refuses to Break. He resists it EVERY TIME!
I played XB2 now around 90-95h and i'am in the World Tree right now... and damn me i killed the stupid Arduran... besides that i missed out of doing all the indol stuff... now i feel like i screwed up big times. Is it worth to Start Over or isnt that stuff not that important? I mean i could probably finish the game and wait for the New Game + Update or not?
How do you get the right blades on the right drivers? like what if i get a healing blade on not Nya? Is farming the core switch item thingy the only way?

A gold chip increase the chance of drops by 50%, but the Poppi RAM treasure sensor increase the chance by 100 %.
Do they also stack with the others, then it would be more efficent.
