Lol, Chuggaa's LP of the game inspired me to play through it again, and I ended up pulling KOS-MOS as Nia's first rare blade after she rejoined the party in Torigoth. Probably the luckiest thing that's ever happened to me. It's been a good playthrough so far.
Dam, you can really hear how different he treats blades who got blessed by the devs. Someone needs to make that meme with the woman with swimming with the little girl in the pool. Woman is Enel, little girl is Kos-Mos, little boy is Finch and the skeleton is Electra.
KOS-MOS is a bit of a special case just in general hahaha. her Saga incarnation is my second favorite character of all time, though I'll admit I don't really like her voice in this game.
The fastest way to grind Legendary cores is just grab a buncha gold chips, a beta scope and Poppi QTpi Put 2 Smash Blades like Roc or Corvin on rex with mythra For Tora, play as him And for the final driver, add some topple/launch blades. Zeke works well for this with Pandorias Launch Then Break/Topple/Launch/Smash lock Sea King Ken. Worked for me, got like 59 Legendary, 99 Rare in an hour
@@arctohru I used Relentless Arduran because it's easily accessible assuming you didn't kill it before it was 99, the gravestone is close by its spawn point (unlike Ken whose grave I have to run all the way around just to find), and I believe it has a decent chance to be broken and a lot of health. That's my go to spot for legendary cores.
@Violet Lovell the most efficient way to farm core crystals is to set up your party to smash as much as possible, easily done with Poppi QT pi and Rex with the Aegis and Roc or Corvin. You're going to want treasure sensor blades (you're bound to have a few) and farm gold chips from Vampire Bride Marion in Uraya (requires you to complete the quest The Titan Scholar). Then pick something sufficiently high level, I personally use Relentless Arduran. As for boosting your odds, never use common core crystals as they're pretty garbage, and always use at least one justice booster (more is better, but it's more important to use at least one because then the game considers it your highest idea level which makes you more likely to get dark blades or KOS-MOS). Boosting luck does help, but it's not as big of a boost to your odds as simply using a single justice booster, so you can skip maxing luck if you feel the need. It's a simple probability equation, and the game gives you to tools to boost your odds. I hope this helps, sorry for the wall of text.
Currently pouring one out for those who still haven't gotten KOS-MOS yet, you'll get her someday. This is also a great early Christmas present, getting a guide on the coolest, most badass blade in the game!
Ms. 1/1000 herself, I've spent countless hours on Relentless Arduran grinding specifically for her. She's incredible, and there's almost literally no reason not to use her in a main playthrough (perhaps that's why she's locked behind a who-knows-how-long hour grind). She does it all: healing, damage, and tanking in the many scenarios when she does get aggro (that aggro reduction on her skill tree is really only there to allow your tanks to maybe regain aggro in the various situations she steals it). Her only real flaw is her lack of Driver Combo (being outclassed by QTPi in terms of breaking, the Ether Cannon's only possible contribution to the combo on any driver), but she doesn't really need it. Definitely one of the best blades in the game, with few actual flaws that matter (she's practically designed to be OP as heck). She's just objectively incredible.
I decided to restart the game from the beginning a few weeks before XC3 was released and even bought the expansion pass to get the content and blades I missed during my first playthrough. I remember having a Hell of a time getting KOS-MOS the first time. But during my second run, I actually managed to get her at around level 35 from a Common Core Crystal. I really cannot believe how lucky I got. lol! Surprisingly, the last rare blade I ended up getting was Kora during NG+.
Let's be real guys: All us KOS-MOS fanbois would have lit our copies of this game on fire if she wasn't one of the absolute best blades in the game. Amirite?
"she is the rarest gacha blade and I'm sure that frustrates many of you" Many of us, but not me, she is my very first blade summon I ever got after the tutorial wind knuckle summon. I didn't know what it meant back then but now I get to feast on the agony of others.
KOS-MOS was pulled yesterday. On Rex, I switched her over to Zeke, but I still used her on Rex to fill her chart out, max trust, and get her set-up with aux-core and core chips. Soon as it’s all done, she’s off to Zeke to take names and kick ass.
Kosmos is one of, if not my favorite Blade in the entire game. I’ve spent dozens of hours grinding for Legendary cores just to get her and she’s totally worth it. I almost always have her equipped because of how good she is. Now if she can get into Smash Bros, then I’ll be one happy camper.
Tora remember Rex-Rex getting Kos-mos from common core crystal, meh heh heh. Though Tora believes he has created better waifu! Also Tora and Poppi wish friend Enel and friends a Merry Christmas! Time for tasty sausage!
I’m still amazed that, in my first playthrough of the game; I got Kos-Mos right before getting Mythra. That’s super early, and she made so much of the game easier for me. It was a fun experience that made my first time playing the game so much more memorable and fun.
Ah yes, the amazing [Rare blade Name here] finally gets her guide. Its not like I was really lucky or anything and got her ch.5 on one of the best driver choices for her something... Thanks for the guide Enel.
Getting KOS-MOS is kind of a double-edged sword, funnily enough. I’m not talking about KOS-MOS herself, no, she’s actually great. I’m talking about obtaining her. It just kinda gives a sense of “now what?” after you pull her because you already got the rarest blade. (And doubly so if you have Dagas, who I just so happen to ALSO have.)
There's reason why that most people like both blade KOS-MOS and Driver Zeke, a.k.a., the "Zekenator," a lot. I mean, really, really a lot. Personally, both are great.
I started replaying Xenoblade 2 recently, and literally got Kos-Mos on out of a common core crystal on Zeke with absolutely no boosters. And this was durring chapter 6, so I was able to get her to a pretty high level just from playing through the rest of the story.
idk whats more surprising for me: seeing a lvl 150 enemy or finding out that there needed to be a damage cap for attacks between your videos and chugga's lp, I really want to give this game another shot
I always find myself putting KOS-MOS in my teams whenever I'm doing anything. The reward was definitely worth the time it took, and it's great to see some more applications for her. Also, due to the Xenosaga content on this channel, I was very recently inspired to actually play Xenosaga I blind recently so now I'm nice and stuck on Gargoyle. Really fun otherwise though, so I've gotta thank Enel for the push to play it.
started my 3rd playthrough of Xenoblade 2 and just unlocked zeke. wanted to get some blades on him and the first rare blade i got was KOS-MOS. I feel like this is the universe trying to compensate me for all the hours of grinding and farming i had to do in previous playthroughs to get all blades
Saw a Kos-mos guide, clicked the video faster than light speed my boi Jin would be jelly. Thanks for this, hope I can be at least decent in using her. I'm using her with Morag which is probably the worst option for ether cannons but gotta stick blade waifu and driver waifu together.
In my first playthrough I beat the final boss at the 70 hour mark, but I didn't get Kos-Mos until the 170 hour mark. It takes all the luck in the world to get her.
I got her on like the 70 hour of my first playthrough and on my zeke. I knew she was rare but I didn't know she was that rare. I also used cloud save but still with that it took two tries of two legendary cores.
I got lucky on my last playthrough and pulled her as my second unique blade, and it was a blast to actually be able to use her throughout the majority of the story progression. She was so powerful that no tank could ever hold aggro whenever she was active lol.
I got KOS-MOS really early, before I even got to Mor Ardain i think and didn't use her, Crossette carried me all the way to final fight after 140 hours lol, thought i'd go a change up while grinding everything out and i find KOS-MOS is actually crazy awesome T_T
New to XBC 2. From what I heard, I'm the luckiest player because I got this blade on a rare core crystal in eight attempts. I didn't know KOS-MOS was top tier when I pulled her on Nia lol. Thanks for the guide.
Just found this channel and really appreciate the detail into these guides . Really shows your love for the game and series. Really needed this help to try and maximize my blades and be able to to beat the big guys and challenge modes . Great stuff man
I haven’t watched your other blade videos or xenosaga play through yet (working on them now) I just gotta say I’m so happy that you still cover xenoblade 2 content. It seriously never gets old and the amount of feels I get just thinking about the game is crazy. Love all of your content for sure!
Time to check this out, since I somehow got KOS-MOS on Zeke in Chapter 6 on a Common Core Crystal when I wasn't using Justice boosters. Still in Chapter 6, and Zeke has Herald too.
I decided to reroll the game until I got kosmos (With the expansion free cores). Took me about 3 hours to get her and I'm pretty happy xD. Currently on chapter 1.
Dude I’ve been waiting for you to upload this just to comment. It’s fuckin hilarious that KOS-MOS’s blade quest is that she is so powerful that you need to go around and stop all the other kingdoms from crapping their pants.
When I played the game, I actually had no isea she was as rare as she was (I did know she had a low rate, I just didn't realize she had the LOWEST)... I managed to pull her in the late-middle of my playthrough - around Tantal - when I was trying for more Rare Blades; I got her before about 8 other gacha Blades, of which Floren took me until the end of a NG+ to finally get (he was my last, after even T-elos and the Tornan Blades) lmao
T-Elos actually has an absurdly high summon rate (easily the highest out of all Rare Blades in the game), to the point that you should only need Common Core Crystals to get her (seriously, 3 Common Cores was all it took for me to get her!). KOS-MOS was my last Rare Blade in the game, and it took me 135+ hours & 2 full runs through the game) to finally get her.
@@gamester512 Oh I knew that, I was just making the point that Floren was literally the end of the line for me; since he was after I was more or less "done" with NG+, it would have been around hour 180 or so; I think I only had 2 or 3 left to pull at that point, but Floren took the cake as it took me a lot of extra cores lol
She was one of my first blades I pulled and I just didn't think much of her, and then I watched vids and everyone was joking about her rarity haha. Guess I'm blessed.
I find it hysterical that I had more trouble getting Gorg, Newt, and Cressidus than her. Anyway, KOS-MOS is a completely phenomenal blade and I don't have much to say about her. I would like to say that I really like running her on Nia in particular, especially in a party with high damage/aggro tanks like Brighid and Sever, since she'll do so much damage, never have aggro, and have access to healing. I personally prefer Herald and Perdido, but that's mainly because I don't want to completely break the game in half most of the time.
I actually got her just now. After countless (I lost count of how many core crystals I used for her, this is without doing the arduran) core crystals I FINALLY have her
I finally pulled her a few days ago... out of a regular old common core crystal and with no boosters or luck increases that I just decided to pull on a whim. Now the only ones I need to pull are Electra and Agate. Whew.
no way, i was using some of the rare cores i had to get a blade with fortitude on zeke to get a technical manual and i got KOS MOS, i was already hyped to have gotten such a rare blade without even trying to but to get it on the best character for them as well is just unbelievably lucky.
She was the second blade I pulled with Zeke from a common core no modifier and after I spent my one legendary and 10 rare cores and all modifiers to get Zeke some blades.
I remember my experience with KOS-MOS vividly; I watched someone stream Xenoblade 2, they had JUST gotten into Mor Ardain, and they decided to grind core crystals to eventually pull KOS-MOS before continuing with the story. If i recall correctly it was a strat where you'd fail normal cylinders on the salvage point in Mor Ardain's docks, which would almost always spawn a Krabble that drops a common core crystal and possibly a rare as well on death. At any rate, they eventually managed to get her, and I thought "I can do that too!" So after a couple days I got to Mor Ardain, did the method and actually managed to pull her after several hours. It helps to have a Rex decked out with Luck and occasional Justice Boosters from returning salvaging materials in the city. Thinking back on it I was SUPER lucky; she was probably like a 0.2-0.3% chance since I wasn't opening legendaries, or whatever it would be at that level (like shoot, I even got her before pulling most of the rare blades available at that point!). I used her for the entire story, and the Hilbert Effect special was easily my bread and butter because it was a full heal. Like, even just half of her massive damage is enough to cover your entire HP bar no matter when or where you get her. I loved her, and I hope anyone reading this comment pulls her soon, because she was worth the effort; such a lovingly crafted blade.
Literally got kos mos or two ago, so nice timing on the video lol. But nice video! Also ended up soloing the final boss with Zeke without leveling her up much just to mess around
Funny how you uploaded this the same day I found and picked up a copy of Xenosaga 3 at one of my local shops. Just need to order the first two and a PS2 off Amazon after my next paycheck.
Step One: Grind for hours
Step Two: Get KOS-MOS
Step Three: ????
Step Four: Profit
Step three is so uncertain because you have already done everything else in the game
Step Three: grind for core chips, aux cores, affinity chart, and S rank trust
Step three is to, directly after you pull KOS-MOS, start a new game plus file and only use her until her affinity chart is full.

I haven’t watched your other blade videos or xenosaga play through yet (working on them now) I just gotta say I’m so happy that you still cover xenoblade 2 content. It seriously never gets old and the amount of feels I get just thinking about the game is crazy. Love all of your content for sure!
Robot girls are in fact the best girls.
Time to check this out, since I somehow got KOS-MOS on Zeke in Chapter 6 on a Common Core Crystal when I wasn't using Justice boosters. Still in Chapter 6, and Zeke has Herald too.
I was waiting for kos mos desperately, thanks for making this :)
The flagship video has arrived, everybody say thank you Enel.
I decided to reroll the game until I got kosmos (With the expansion free cores). Took me about 3 hours to get her and I'm pretty happy xD. Currently on chapter 1.
rare blade?
chuggaconroy/emile: hold my beer
If Chuggaconroy can do it, then so can I!
I'm having a bitch of a time pulling Perceval and Adenine plus a few others and I got Kos-Mos on accident
@@alexanderharrison7421 I've beaten the game 3 or 4 times, pulled Kos-Mos twice, and I have still never pulled Newt.
I actually got her just now. After countless (I lost count of how many core crystals I used for her, this is without doing the arduran) core crystals I FINALLY have her
I remember I got Kos-Mas from a random rare core I got from a sidequest from Indol of all places.
I got her in Tantal with a common core this guide helped me use her better
My first ever rare blade was this, had no idea it was so rare
I was binging these videos again and while I was doing it I finally pulled Kos-mos!! Thank you for indirectly blessing me.
I got this blade really early when i was in mor ardain or something (i had the expansion pass)
It's been 3000 years, but I finally got KOS-MOS. 😭
Thanks for the cool guides.
At any rate, they eventually managed to get her, and I thought "I can do that too!"
So after a couple days I got to Mor Ardain, did the method and actually managed to pull her after several hours.
I pulled her a couple of days ago!
The heavens have aligned, I just got kosmos today!
Literally got kos mos or two ago, so nice timing on the video lol. But nice video!
Also ended up soloing the final boss with Zeke without leveling her up much just to mess around
oh this is the rarest blade? lmao I just pulled her as my third rare blade and thought I'd look up a guide on her.
I got her on accident while looking for a good healer for nia. i ended up keeping her on nia for the whole game
Gunner blades are really good on Nia.
Beat the game two weeks ago and just got her on my first try. Post-game should be fun after Torna.
Funny how you uploaded this the same day I found and picked up a copy of Xenosaga 3 at one of my local shops. Just need to order the first two and a PS2 off Amazon after my next paycheck.
I just got her today for my birthday.
I pulled KOS MOS yesterday with a normal Core Crystal. (I was in New Game +, i had in this moment 150 playhours)
