Jon Von Jovi is the sweetest most humble person a great human being, marry forever and a great dad. Open a restaurant in NJ to feed the homeless and anybody that goes there hungry, he goes in person with his wife and children to serve the people, do not charge even people that aren't homeless if they want to pay something to help feed the hungry.

They don't feel like bums etc...bcuz they actually earned their meal! I'm sure the ones who are completely handicapped don't have to!! Whaaaaat WHAT!!!!!
The year was 1987, my family took a little road trip/vacation to New Hampshire up north to see the mountains. I was 8 years old. One of the things my mom and dad loved doing on road trips was finding a candy store. We’d all go in and the family (we didn’t have much money) would share a white paper bag full of different treats. My dad that trip took some fudge back to the hotel. On the drive back, he took out his pocket knife and cut 5 even slices of the fudge for us all to try. He placed the knife back into the paper bag until we got back to the hotel. On the drive, this song was playing on the tape deck.
Back at the hotel my dad used one of the hotel towels to clean his fudgey knife off. As we were all getting into our pajamas, my dad says to my mom. The hotel maids are going to see this towel tomorrow and say “Hey Wanda, LOOK, there’s SHIT on this towel!”
Oh how we all laughed as we went to bed. My mom and dad were really cool parents who were very much in love. Almost 30 years later, this song reminds me of that trip, the song remains the same. Unfortunately my mom and Dad got divorced along the way and our tight family was never the same…..

Jon Bon Jovi is one of the greats in terms of frontmen, and is easily one of the humblest rockers you will ever meet. He and his mates grew up in a poor, working class New Jersey city, and has seen hard lives first hand. As a result, Jon has donated almost 15% of Bon Jovi's earnings to Habitat for Humanity. He is a true philanthropist and a true heart. You want a song that celebrates that AND is a kicking rock-country song? Watch "Who Says You Can't Go Home?", a song that donates all profits to Habitat for Humanity

Bon Jovi are the only band in history to have 3 videos reach a billion views on RUclips from the 80's, 90's and 2000's, you have now reacted to 2 of them so next up should be "Always", it's a really great song!

You are so correct there, BP!! At 70, I can look back on my own music history. Each one brings it's own memories of the times I had in my life when I was down and out and music always saved my sad butt. Now I get to see the reaction of you young ones to the stuff that I grew up listening to. I love your facial features Black!!! Brings back the youth in me. Thank you so much!!!

Bob Jovi was my aunts favorite band and we couldn’t go anywhere without her playing and singing all of Bon Jovi’s songs. The last song I heard her playing was Blaze of Glory. She passed away a couple of weeks later. John Bon Jovi was around 24 when Living on a Prayer came out.

So hyped for another BP reaction to probably my all time favorite band!!!
Jon married his high school sweetheart, and they are still married even though he knew his appeal to his female fan base. The song that got him started pre-Bon Jovi band (later released by the band) was "Runaway." Jon said he hated the video for that and didn't like having to do MTV videos where they had to lip synch.
Oh man - I could tell you so much about this group of all-stars. Not just nostalgia. Been there every step of the way while they keep on rockin' (saddened by the leaving of Richie, of course, but maybe a reunion in the future?)

You darned right it was a great concert! Lol 😆 Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet tour with Cinderella opening for them. It was the first Rock concert for me and my sister. We were in the nosebleed section, but didn't care. The funny thing was that our Mom, who had also become a Bon Jovi fan, didn't buy a ticket and decided after dropping us off to see if there were any tickets left unclaimed. There were some and she got in on a free, unclaimed ticket, which landed her right in front of the platform Jon flew to during this song. She said she tried to wave at us to come down. All 3 of us talked about that concert forever. Mom's now in advanced stages of dementia, but she loved any Bon Jovi song all these years and sometimes still does.

Most of Bon Jovi's songs are uplifting. They're about love and faith. There's a ton of great songs by Bon Jovi. I'd die for you, raise your hands, lay your hands on me,bad medicine, born to be my baby,I'll be there for you, keep the faith,i'll sleep when I'm dead, blame it on the love of rock and roll,in these arms, always, one wild night, everyday, bounce, have a nice day, and Blaze of glory which was originally a jon bon Jovi song.

Believe it or not, the talk box was invented in the 1930s. The first I heard it was Peter Frampton's "Do you feel like we do?" I saw Robert Troutman in an interview saying he liked the effect and decided to use it in his music. I think he used it in more of his music than Frampton. And, of course, "California Lovin." One of my absolute favs!!
