This is one of the best texturized videos I’ve seen. That hair is flawless. I keep going back n forth with what I want to do with mines. It’s hard for me to deal with my hair especially when I don’t no how too. I’ve been wearing braids lately, but notice the hair takes a beating with braids also.
Yes!!! I had to do it, I was like I want to wear my hair more but it was getting more damaged because I never took care of it like I should have so I had to get a little help to start the journey back over. I didn’t want a perm because I didn’t want my hair straight and that’s really harsh on the hair so I just did the texture softener and I am really glad I did. My hair is definitely progressing and seems a lot healthier now that I’ve been able to actually comb through it.
@@woahrissahow is it now?
I texturized mine using the just for me texturizer yesterday and this morning when I woke up I have no regrets, I spritzed with water, laid my edges with gel and was done. It’s shiny and moisturized. Normally my hair is a hard & crunchy Afro no matter what I did the night before. So I’m very happy with the results.
Yess that’s the best feeling to just get up and go with little to no effort in the morning lol
Girrllll.. today I said im DONE DONE being natural. I can't deal with my hair anymore. Styling type 4a/b hair is a too much. Been natural for 2...almost 3 years and babbbyyy WHY am I stressing myself out so much. I'm frustrated coz my hair never act right. The length is there but what's the point in having long natural hair if you never wear it out. That's me. It's always braided coz I dont wanna deal with it
I said those exact words last week. I never want to wear my own hair because it's too hard to manage. I'm like what's the point of this????
Yes!!! I felt the exact same way. I’m always in sighs because I did not want to deal with the detangling everyday and all that lol
Now you’ve texturised you hair, are you still able to put it in braids if you want to?
Yes, I still do box braids, I did loc my hair right after this then I cut them off about few months ago lol now I’m just growing it back out
Honestly it's fun hair is a journey I've been natural & relaxed equally 15yrs currently relaxed until I'm 70 or 80 okay 😂 I just turned 40 I relax every 5 months everyone thinks I'm still natural 😂 because I still have curls I'm 4B btw I just never smooth protein once a month moisture everyday@@woahrissa
I do these, than I use restoring mask, healthy products and boom my curls bounce more and has that moving look I love it so much. When you do it in a healthy way and only do new growth your hair will grow so fast
Yesssss I was loving it! It made me want to wear my hair out more.
What mask do you use?
I texturized my hair too and it was the best decision ever...them wigs were also chowing my hairline and I'm there thinking it was a "protective style"...I just want to do my own hair without relying on the sqlons
How is your hair now? Is it damaged or is it thriving?
Yes that’s how I felt, I’ve loc’ed my hair now, I’m always doing something lol
by far the best texturizing video ive seen, thank you so much, your hair looks amazing and this helped me make my decision to texturize my hair as well!!
Aww thank you! I loved it when I did mine, I’m always doing something different with my hair, I have locs now lol
I've been thinking about it for a while now - been natural for 4-5 years now and I feel the same way. I used to texlax and it was great. I followed very healthy hair routine. You have helped me make the decision. Thank you SO much for this video.
I’m glad I could help!!!! It really helped me maintain my hair a lot,I was so in love with it, let me know if you do it or not!
"I'M DOMINICAN"😂😂😂 i always come back 2 this video
Lmao yea Im glad, I was really going through a phase whew
🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@woahrissa how is your hair now? I texturized my hair after this video. It's almost a year now and i love it. My hair is so long now
@kakarishiro_6166 oh really!!!! That’s amazing, what do you use on your hair? Sooo I kinda loc’d my hair about 3 weeks after this video then I just cut them off about 2 months ago so I’m growing it out again lol
@@woahrissa nooo omg why did you do that😅. I use the camille rose milk almost a year. And a cream and black castor oil. That's it. And i wear wigs sometimes so it can grow
I went back yo relaxer only yesterday, could mot do the natrual thing for much longer,...
I feel you sister 💕
❤️girl!! I have the same hair ..OMG.I already have it and was scared to use it until this video.Ty
You have my exact hair texture and I have been looking for what to do to my hair to make it look better and be easier to manage. This might just be it 👌🏾
Be careful. I loved my results until around 8 months later. Had to do a big chop... :(
Glad I could help! It was very manageable too I didn’t really have to do anything to it everyday and it just stayed like this. I’ve loc’ed my hair now though
@@NicoleKimmel-v2pis it because you did a touch up?
@@woahrissaDid you experience any breakage?
Yassss... sis, you did that!! You can add conditioner and out the door. Great job! I was looking for examples. Best one I've seen. Hope mine turn out as good as yours, tomorrow. Wish me wel..1🫣😬😂
Thank you sooo much!!! I loved the ease of just spraying my hair down and going and now having crazy shrinkage
You’re so cute ! I just did a texturizer after 10 years of being natural I just can’t anymore
Thank you!! Yess, how did your hair turn out?
I’m alll for the texturizers i use it myself cause my hair is tooo thick. Can’t live with that soo.. texturizers are my go to!
It looks beautiful on you!
Thank you 💜💜💜💜
Just tried this as soon as I saw this video and got the same results!!! 💖💖💖🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🥰🥰🥰🥰
How's your hair doing now? Is it damaged or is it thriving?
@@IM_VictorYah Be careful. I loved my results until around 8 months later. Over the course of time, even with protein treatments, deep conditions, oil, etc--it just died over time. Rough to the touch, and extremely brittle. I did a big chop yesterday.
@@IM_VictorYah I absolutely love it! It’s grown over 3 inches, almost 4!!!!
@@NicoleKimmel-v2p I’m not getting those results almost a year later but it’s all about your routine! My hair is thriving. Stopped breaking off. And you have to get it trimmed regularly & get it touched up every 3 months or the new growth will be too thick of shafts and the processed hair will break off. Good luck on your big chop journey! 🩷🩷
I’m going to do this. I can’t wait! I am going to be doing research on how to retouch. I hope to just do retouches twice a year. Once a year…I don’t know if I can stretch that long!😂
Did you do it!!?????? I’m just now seeing a lot of my comments they were hidden!!!!
My jaw dropped when you took the towel off 🔥🔥
Yesss, I was stunned as well. Thank you for watching
Nice!! I’m thinking about doing this too. You are too much when you started swinging it saying it move 😂😂
😂😂 you don’t understand how happy I was that my hair was moving when it was dry 😂😂 it’s been so long
Omg I just been looking at videos because I want to do mines very soon,I really hopes it comes out as amazing as yours wowww.
14 years. I got done Jan 1 2023 but I used Mizani Lye to texlax cuz I'm hard core hahaha Yours looks amaze.
Lol I feel you I was so scared to use it since I haven’t had anything on my hair in so long. I use to use soft and beautiful in my relaxer days. I’m sure your hair came out beautiful
Hey friend love it!! 😍😍😍😍😍I am about to do this cause I’m over it 😂😂😂😂 miss you!
I'm on the verge! I've been natural for 4 years and can't even comb my hair dry because of the pain of it all! We'll see if I crack before the end of the year. LOL
😊 beautiful im sold i yotta run from this shrinkage 😅😂 textarizer here i come😂❤
Yes!!
Well I’m not a fan of that kind of chemical but honestly you looked way better after than before. Slay queen!❤
Yessss anything looked better than the before 🤣🤣
@@woahrissayou’re gorgeous sis ❤ God bless you!
Watching this cause I’m about to do one today.. I’ve been natural for 10 years myself… i always wear it in a bun or braids under a wig.. i wanna be able to wear a cute blowout without it getting puffy everyday 😢😂
Me too
Exactly how I felt!!!!!! How did yours turn out?
@@woahrissait came out bomb. I’m glad i can finally manage it now 😢😩
Gurl, Your hair turned out beautiful. Do you still use texturizers? Has your hair benefited from this?
Thank you! I have actually loved my hair now, but I did love it for a few months lol
SLAYED PERIOD!!!!❤
Thank you luv 🥰🥰
This is Nikki Anderson my mother does my hair perms have cancer in it
Girls I'm getting I'm getting frustrated to,cause what's the point of being natural if most of the time u are going to have them in wigs🥴
Right, I was like I’m not doing anything but damaging my hair. I took a long time for me to actually go through it. I thought about the hassle of wash day and was like oh naw I’m getting a texturizer lol
Your hair was beautiful the way it was.
Thank you! I’m growing it back out now
Not you’re Dominican 😩 embrace your blackness hunni , black is beautiful 🤎
As if there aren't hundreds of thousands of blacks in the Dominican Republic.
She is an Afro-American woman with coily hair. Dominican can be Afro-Dominican dark skinned, medium tone or light skinned with loose curly or coily kinky hair. They are a diverse people...
You guys are obsessed with Dominicans embracing their blackness. How about the hoardes of African American women who wear their hair straight? Just mind your own business already.
@@mariepearl-harbour2335 EXACTLY, SMH
After a few years, how do you feel about the texturizer? Do you feel like your hair still feels healthy. I’m really considering it. Sorry for the late comment. Thank you.😅
Oh I have loc’ed my hair now lol I’m always doing something I have a few pictures on my community tab
I felt the part about the edges 😂😂 I want my hair like that too😂😂. Bro please be my friend 😂😂
The struggle be real with the edges 😂😂 30 mins later if even that, it looks like you didn’t even do them
but how do you take care of it? i did this 3 years ago but I had to do a big chop because my ends were dead 😭 but im tired of my own hair tbh
To be honest I just used like a hair cream and a few oils but about 3 weeks later I decided to loc my hair
Omg those curls and the way it flows🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰🥰
i swear this is the best texturizing vid ive seen so far... this is exactly the result im searching for wow im speechless.
Thank you!!!!! 💜💜💜
I prefer natural hair. I love my natural hair!. I do understand why some of us girlies are going back to relaxers. Its your choice!. Do like watching relaxer videos.😊
Turned out beautiful!
Thank you
Literally doing tomorrow I’m done with 3c 4a hair it’s so hard to manage 😩
How did it turn out if you did it!!
@@woahrissa yes I love it!!! I left it on for 10 minutes. It definitely made my hair more manageable. No complaints 🥰
Your hair turned out beautiful. I thought my hair was 3c/4a? But if that’s what yours is, mine is more of 3a/3b. I, too, am done with my natural curls after 18 years natural. I can’t make them last, no matter how many products I apply, but the texturizer I used completely eliminated my curl pattern. Sigh. 😅
Thank you!!! Sometimes products just stop working like they use too and I think that’s when I got frustrated and just wanted to “try” a easy way out lol but yes i can see how it can eliminate your curl pattern if you leave it on too long
@@woahrissa I only processed for 8 minutes! Even when I used to use a relaxer, my curls would stay. This completely eliminated them. Maybe they’ll come back after a wash.
@awoman9750 oh yes they will give it about a good week or so
I did this to mine and the front of my hair came out too straight so I have to slick it down in a side part. I have 4A/4/b hair. I tried scrunching it and everything.
Yesss I ended up locking my hair now
Ty for your input! I have looser curls too and was wondering if my results will look just as good...
SOLD!!!!!!!!
That’s gorgeous
Love your results
Thank you ❤️❤️
Oh yours came out great!!!
Thank you 🫶🏾
Can you texlax the root of your hair without messing with the length of your hair or do you have to take it down the length of your hair and why? Because the length of my hair is fine it's the roots that I just want to be more manageable
Yes, you can just relax your roots. I tried to just get my roots but went another route lol
It looks real good!!!
Thank you ❤️❤️
Omg You really did it 😳😳
Yes, I’m really surprised, I was like what the he’ll with it if my hair fall out that’s fine I wear wigs anyway lol
Looks super cute 🥰
Thank you love ☺️☺️💜💜
Are you saying you don't recommend using this product on your hair? Im asking because of a response you gave to another person.
I only said that because my hair seemed so thin after a while. I’m so use to having a thick full head
It’s beautiful 😍
how long did you keep it in? it looks amazing!
I left it in about 7 mins
Beautiful
Thank you so much ❤️
😂❤ love it…
What texturizer is it please? Niceee
No tú, SEÑOR dominico, ayúdanos 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Do you still like the texturizer?
No, I don’t I’ve loc’ed my hair now
Did you just wash your hair before you did that?
No I didn’t, I washed it a week before
did u put it on clean hair or it had product in it?
No my hair was dirty but not dirty I had a wash the week before
Beautiful 🌺
Thank you
You are so beautiful by the way 💜💜
Aww thank you so much, you just made my day 💜
How long did you leave it in for?
About 7 mins because my hair isn’t like kinky kinky I just wanted it looser
😅😅😅I love your ytube page ❤️ 😅😅😅🥰🥰very entertaining 😄 🎉❤
Thank you so much 💜💜💜 I’m glad you enjoy
Dope❤
Did you air dry? Also how often do you have to texturize to keep it the way it looks now?
I 100% do not recommend lol I did air dry my hair but it seems like now that it’s growing back out it’s so thin and brittle
@@woahrissa aah okay! I did mine. It was alright I guess. My hair doesn’t seem THAT different just a slightly looser curl pattern. Everything else is the same. I wouldn’t do it too often like you said.
@@imeekay I think it’s just my hair texture. It’s looks kinky in the video because I didn’t do anything to it so it wouldn’t burn but my hair isn’t kinky kinky so I guess it’s just thin lol
@@woahrissa ahh okay! You should get some JBCO. It thickens your hair up quick!
@@woahrissa so you liked it, but you don't recommend it?
🔥 🔥🔥
Lmao over time it ruins the hair. 😮. But black is beautiful
I agree with you on that, I wouldn’t do this every few months maybe once a year. I’ve loc’ed my hair now it’s been a year in July and I’m loving it so far
❤❤❤
THIS MAKES NO SENSE ,NOWADAYS YOU CAN ACHIEVE THE SAME LOOK ON TYPE 4 HAIR JUST WITH ECOSTYLER GEL ,WATCH THE VIDEOS ON RUclips !!!
It’s not that I wanted this look, I wanted to manage my hair better and it’s easier this way for me. Thank you for letting me know a tip though 😉
It’s Not true. Everything simply Does Not work for Everybody. That’s Not how real life works. It just doesn’t.
@Realrap2727 💜🙂
Sorry just for me
Yes it was a just for me, I usually use the yellow box but they were sold out and I was just fed up and used this one at the time lol
why sis why
I know I know lol
whats done is done i suppose lol do you regret doing it? how is your hair now@@woahrissa
Yea it’s loc’d now. I have a few photos on my community tab.
