Looks amazing, are there any cons to having a fat front tire? I can’t believe you only have 11.5 subscribers your knowledge and delivery, to me,are exactly what I look for.
The only Cons off the top of my head is, if you get a flat tire or have to replace the tire on a road trip, the dealership or shop would have to have them in stock. Now because this is a 18”, most dealerships would have this tire in stock. Also, you have to get a new wheel chock for a trailer to accommodate the fat tire. And thank you! Hopefully the sub count goes up 🤟🏽
It honestly can fit any set-up with a 180 tire, and cut out slider covers. I would’ve went with a Native Front fender, but the El Dorado Paint is custom from HogWorkz. So it only made sense to get the fender straight from HogWorkz. Still a great fender, and for the price!
Since you were weighing everything, I am really surprised you didn't weigh the fork slider covers. The weight saved by the new rotors was replaced with those.
I did weigh the fork slider covers. And not looking to shed weight when adding a fat tire. The lyndall rotors are far superior, and supply more stopping power
Thank You! I definitely appreciate it. The tire was shipped to me already bead balanced, so I do not know the type or amount. I reached out to Native Custom baggers, so I’m just waiting on a response
I definitely enjoy it! I’ve never ridden a Fat Tire before this, and I absolutely love it. I took it out to Sturgis, and it handled those mountain rodes like a champ
Good question! I usually try and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. Because you don’t have to remove the air cleaner backing plate or bolts to service it, they recommend red loctite.
@RAIDERWORLD Probably to get you to take the normal person without torches to the dealership. Most of the Harley techs I follow. Only suggest red for engine bolts. I believe you would have to remove the backing plate if you had a external air breather. Not saying you do. But some older that do.
At Harley, you’re looking at over $1k just for labor. That’s not including parts. Follow this video’s step-by-step, and you can definitely do this yourself.
Let me ask you....the space between the fender and chin spoiler isnt too close juat in case you hit a bump and the front forks have to compress down..the spoiler and fender wont touch?
My question is. On the Fat Tire kit. I have a 2018 Street Glide CVO It has a 18” wheel. With 180/55-18 tire on the back. And a 19” wheel on the front With 130/60-19 tire. So I wanna do a fat front tire. Do I do a 19” front wheel???
It all depends how you want to ride. I kept it even with both tires the same (front/back). You can have an 18” tire in the rear and a 23” tire on the front
@@RAIDERWORLD So. On Ur. El Dorado. What size wheels. U have on the back. And what fat wheel did U put on the front. I wanna do the same set up as that. That front wheel. Looks just like my Harley wheel I have for the front on my bike now. I wanna do the same Brake rotors same wheel. All in gloss black.
Haha! It’s actually easier than it looks. It doesn’t take long, especially if your not filming it. Filming something like this can usually take a couple days. I definitely appreciate the support 🤟🏽
@@RAIDERWORLDthanks for the reply. There seems to be two types of 5-bolt rotors for the Street Glides. Older models have the smaller diameter 5-bolt whereas the newer models have the larger diameter 5-bolt patters. Which one do your fat wheels take?

is there any other place where to buy this kits? because native do not have on line payment or paypal i already call them and no opciot just email or phone and you do not feel so good sending your credit card data like that
Yeah, I definitely understand. You can pick up that same kit from RickRak. They are a great company! Use the links attached and let them know Raider World sent you. Depends on what you are looking for. I like matching the front and back the same. If you run into a flat tire on the road, it’s easier to find an 18” in stock
It’s very simple, I actually said it twice in the video. “YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE FAIRING” I did it, so you could see what I’m doing “ON CAMERA” Thanks for watching 🤘🏽
Easily Fatten Up your front End!!! Just to reiterate, you DO NOT need to remove the fairing to install this kit 🤟🏽
I just put this kit on my glide and Dude I know what you mean about installing the flush mount axle nut !!!
Absolutely! Definitely takes some work
I said it before,I’ll say it again.
You’re a freaking artist, 👌✌️

Man, the detail you give in this… I am severely impressed. I am going to be going through all of your videos bro. Very awesome

Great video, super thorough and looks amazing! Excellent job!
Thank You! I had a lot of fun doing this one.
Best fat tire install I’ve seen
Thank You brother! Definitely a lot of work with those camera angles haha
Good to see the Hogworkz fender fits the Native setup. Much more affordable and time saving option!

Question for you, what beads did you use, and how many ounces.
Thanks in advance
Thank You! I definitely appreciate it. The tire was shipped to me already bead balanced, so I do not know the type or amount. I reached out to Native Custom baggers, so I’m just waiting on a response
Native says that a hogwerks fender will not work with their cowbells.. have you had any issues?
😊
I haven’t any issues with the HogWorkz Fender, and the Native Custom Baggers Slider Covers.
Why is the reason when you put the fat rear tire on front you need to reverse direction (mount backwards lol)
The way the tread on the front tire is designed. You want it to be opposite of the rear
How is the ride of the fat tire? What is the difference between stock? What about turns?
I definitely enjoy it! I’ve never ridden a Fat Tire before this, and I absolutely love it. I took it out to Sturgis, and it handled those mountain rodes like a champ
Just genuine question? Why Red loctite on non-engine bolts? Vs Blue loctite? Red requires using heat to remove the bolts for any service

Sweet bike !! I do have a question where did you get the black acorn nuts
I actually painted these black. They do have some available that are black on Amazon, but I didn’t go with those.
Very nice and clean look!
Thank You brotha 🙏🏽 You already know!
Let me ask you....the space between the fender and chin spoiler isnt too close juat in case you hit a bump and the front forks have to compress down..the spoiler and fender wont touch?
You would have to hit something really hard straight ahead. With the angle, it’s designed to clear any road bumps or pot holes.

I’m running Dunlap Tires, Tried and True Tires

Can you use OEM rotor from the older Street Slide models with the smaller 5-bolt pattern and a 11.8" diameter on your fat wheels?
If it’s the stock rotor, you can absolutely use it. Hope that helps
