- I am in Onederland - officially under 200 pounds! Things have been going well and my diet has been advanced to soft foods - looking forward to chewing again!
*I'm slow to upload videos. I had my surgery October 27, 2022.
congrats, i had my surgery last week, 7 days ago, i havent had anything but liquids still, im at 40lbs down since may 9th . i am hoping at next thursdays appointment to be cleared for soft foods, this liquid does not stay in the sleeve long water hasnt been hard. the hunger has been the hard part, the first 3 days was great, the last 4 im chomping at the bit for anything that will stay in the sleeve for a while. the surgery was the easy part, 2 weeks of pro op liquid and 2 post is the killer, good job on the loss so far, stay positive

oh yeah how do u make ricotta bake
I mixed ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan with some Italian seasoning and I think an egg. Topped it with marinara. I'm blanking on the actual recipe now - but if you Google it, you will see a few different recipes. I tried a couple and they were both great! Can't go wrong with cheese. haha
Have you been able to use the restroom number two ? I am one week out and I still haven’t been able to do number two kind of concerned
Definitely call your doctor and ask for their recommendation for a stool softener (or a prescription). I think it took about 3 days until I was able to go and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. But things got a bit backed up the next couple of weeks and it was pretty uncomfortable at times. I had to take Miralax and really tried to focus on fluids.

thank you my surgery date is may 31- how long do u think i should take off work ? i’m so worried i will get sick
I took 2 weeks off work - I work a desk job, so not physically demanding.
