That is crazy. I am at about seven and a half weeks myself and I am seeing the same thing. I lose a lot one week and then nothing. I am glad to hear that it's not just me.

You are doing great! Protein shakes always help me get more protein, especially when I am travelling.

I'm wondering..... did your shoe size change any? Do your shoes fit better? Also, about the spandex stuff, did you look into any crotchless ones so you don't have to take them off to pee?

People can be so so cruel in life

Hi I have just found ur videos and I would say I'm loving how happy U are about what ur doing . I'm in Australia and my partner and I are on week 2 now of pre op diet and at first it was so hard as we can only have selected veg only 2 cups up to 3 litres of water a day and the shakes and bars. So abit different to URS . I know ur in the future lol but I'm enjoying ur videos so far 😊

I have been searching and searching for RUclips content where you can follow a person in their weight loss surgery journey. I first came across your content when you were already past your one year post op. Thanks for sharing your journey. I have just been approved for my surgery. I won’t be scheduling my surgery for at least a year. I need get things stabilized in my life before I can get this surgery. About 9 months ago I was in a near fatal motor vehicle accident and so I have been recovering from emergency surgery and all my broken bones. Next step is vocational rehabilitation and then surgery. Can’t wait. My only regret is not taking this step earlier.

Where are you girlfriend? My insurance approved my surgery today 🙌 Now I wait for the scheduling team to call.

I was in a motor vehicle accident hadn’t had a bowl movement for like say 9 days. It was due to the heavy duty pain relief opioids I took recovering. I went to hospital to get an enema. I couldn’t do it myself. I had to have a nurse do it for me. Only I mooned everyone in the unit I was wheeled into. I’m glad you had your puppies with you. lol and now I just for approved for weight loss surgery so when life for me stabilizes I’ll move forward with this surgery. For now I’m doing what I can to prep and be comfortable following surgery and in my recovery etc

I am 4 days post-op RNY and on a clear liquid diet until day 5, but I’m planning to take it slowly since I’m dealing with nausea and some pain. I’m looking forward to thickened liquids, but also not willing to jump on them if I’m not ready. Pill swallowing has been quite interesting and can be almost painful. The gas pain along with the fatigue has been the biggest issues for me. No regrets, but I’m just hoping this stage of the process ends soon.

I’m working hard to do my surgery. I love your videos and I seen how much you’ve change. But I love your meal prep. Thank you 🙏

I’ll be one year post op next month and I’m already slipping back into old habits it’s horrible and makes me so scared. I’m disappointed in myself and glad I’m not the only one. I never got over eating fast though even in the early months of surgery I ate quickly it’s a really hard habit to break

Its Sunday 29th September, this coming Tuesday I am having my 1st meeting for gastric bypass, I have been watching each other your journey videos, I must sau it's inspiring and very helpful, whoa!! What a transformation so far at 5 months post op. Next March I am going on a weeks holiday, I am curious to see how I will be in my journey. I am so so happy for you 😊

I had gastric bypass rny in 1998. I’ve taken a lot of advil, ibuprofen, aleve through the years with no issues. Interesting.

Thank you for sharing your story. So much good information. I'm thinking about the surgery for myself and now have many questions answered. Your skin doesn't look bad at all. But you have to be happy with yourself. I'm 69 and hoping I'm not too old for the WLS. I'll keep watching for your videos. Thank you again for your smiles too.

Hi Nicole, I'm 2 weeks from RNY Surgery. You have an amazing community here and they are so supportive. The fact that you can be so raw and real with us and yourself is import, we can lie to ourselves. I feel like I can speak on this specific subject of addiction in the many forms that it comes in, as I approach 33 years clean and sober... It is not just alcohol, it's food, sex, drug (illegal and legal), pain, it's literally anything that we can do too much of and find comfort, security, numbness, distance in our life issues. I've already lost 100 lbs through diet and exercise, but still have another 120 to go. I've done that not just by diet and exercise, but honestly through working my 12 step program; I didn't go to AA or NA meetings, but I worked those steps between myself, my best friend and God; I had to forgive myself for how I treated my body and mind; and sometimes I had to do that daily. You mentioned about starting to have an issue with alcohol when you were younger, family history; these traits are genetic so don't beat yourself up, but love on yourself, and forgive yourself in order to move forward.

I am new to your channel. So I been binge watching your story. My dr wants me to have bariatric surgery. Been on Weight Watchers not much success. I am not a candidate for wegovy or any of those. I am 5'1" and my highest weight was 231lbs I now weigh around 221lbs. I am 64 yrs old and very nervous about all this. I enjoy your videos and all your info. Thank you

Do you wear any compression clothes or do regular clothes usually do the trick?

So im so desperate to get this surgery but my insurabce wont cover it. The ONLY way for me to afford it is going to mexico for it. Im beyond excited. They only worry i have is that i wont get support after and that i dont know where to go for it. Your vodeos are helping me think of issues that will come up for me too.
