  • I can't believe it has already been 3 weeks since surgery! Things are going well - we chat about soft foods, upcoming holidays and "free time" that I have found now that I'm not grazing all the time.
    *I'm really slow at uploading videos, so there are references made to Thanksgiving and Christmas. My surgery was October 27, 2022.

    I'm so glad you documented all of this! I have my first consultation with the bariatric team and dietician on 1/2. Still nervous I'm going down the wrong path but I'm excited to see how that appointment goes and what we decide to do.

      Nothing to lose by having the consultation! It is such a personal decision, so get the info and then you can make the decision that is best for you. :)

    Great video! Thanks for sharing. Just curious, do you know how long we have to adhere to the 30 minute rule as I like to sip while eating as well and it was quite the adjustment to not do it. You look great! Take care😊

      I am so slow at uploading these videos! It took a while until I had the courage, if I'm being honest. I just had my 3-month follow up with my doctor and things are going really well! I am a shortie - 5 feet exactly. :)

    Hi Nicole, I find that eating lentil soup and Navy beans with ham can definitely help you get your Protein In 😋 I have a few videos of things I eat in my channel "thistoothatlife" if you need suggestions. The acne is normal because your body is detoxing. The toxins come out of your skin, breath, urine and excrement. Increase your water intake and it will help with the acne. You're doing GREAT!!!! keep focus on the end goal. ✨️
