To tell you the truth. I had almost given up on Moho in favour of Grease Pencil in Blender BUT..... I don't even care if the new features are good or not. I'm upgrading anyway because they're going with perpetual licences instead of subscription. That's worth supporting. Thanks for breathing life into this amazing software again!

I used Moho as Anime Studio 10 years ago, and I can also say that it is the easiest to use software for animation.
It does not have a subscription model, it's a one-time purchase (which is incredible).
It's incredible how far Moho (Anime Studio) has come. The Distance function functionality (I guess that's what it is) looks incredible for effects you don't want to handdraw every frame of. It looks like a lot of fun.

I remember learning it as a kid. I was maybe 5-6 and second time at 12-13.
Now just looking at it makes me feel proud at what you did.

You know, i moved from Moho to Harmony some time ago... but Moho does some really awesome things that make me want to dip a toe in again after all this time.

I'm not into 2D animation (3D guy) but this tool looks sick! Keep up, definitely sharing with my 2D friends.
Truly awesome, now I will even take more stuff from my AE workflow to Moho. Maybe one day I can sostitute 100% AE with Moho for explainers and 2D animation? It would be sooo nice...this is a huge move in that way. And with Procreate Dreams for frame by frame seems like a true dream team for 2024 :)) Keep it up Victor and the Team! :)))

Agreed. Powerful but not something that a new user can just mess around with and get it to do very much. I stopped upgrading at version 9 because I found the UI frustrating. Granted I don't have much need for it.

I had a license for Moho 13 Pro, but never installed it. After seeing this video, I took the plunge and bought the upgrade to 14. I actually installed it this time! Baby steps, lol. Now I just have to figure out how to use it...

Moho is a very good and professional as well as user-friendly software, which can be used to get to the production process very quickly, and it has many features needed to create 2D and 2D animations, and only what is needed. There is a library of switches, which unfortunately does not have such a feature, or even a bug-free script can not be found in this field to open all the switches at once for each and every part of the character, including the expressions of hands, lips, eyes, etc.
I hope that such a necessary and practical feature will be added to this popular software to make it more complete

is moho14 compatible with mp3 format? because in the previous version we cannot use mp3 audio
Yes, Moho has supported mp3 and other formats for a while now. And version 14 also does it :)
but why 13 dont support mp3? because wave format take lot of space in the hard drive and i make lot of conversations@@mohoanimation

Yes! Moho includes many brushes and you can also create your own

I've tried Reallusion's Cartoon Animator in the past, but that did not meet the above requirements.

So tempting...but I missed out on the jump from Anime Studio Pro (11) to Moho, so it's full price ($400) to catch up. Maybe I should start by actually _using_ what I have currently :D

@@mishramohit25 Upon receiving the Black Friday email, I found that I did have Moho 12.4, just hadn't installed it like I had AS11. So the pain is "only" $200 (had I updated to 13 when that was the newest, it would have been only $100 this time around). I really need to check my installer archives more often 😅
(and checking my license key email, I find that the upgrade from 11 to 12 back in 2017 was _also_ $200 )
I'm very interested in animating my finished Motivational Housecat! Starring Professor Meow Meow and The Angry Bee comic strips. I'm looking to create simple, sync'd mouths to recorded dialog with the occasional blinking eyes. A.) Can this be done with the basic version, and B.) Can Moho import PNG's, JPEGS, and Illustrator AI files? Or am I limited to importing only PSD files? Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah they should consider this, but right now the best competitor for that is Spine, and maybe that's just not worth the effort to compete with? Who knows...
All we need now is a Linux version and all will be well. I am willing to pay for a Linux edition of Moho software.
Will rigs made in version 13.5 work in 14 or do you have to start over again ..

Moho is always impressive to see updated. Question tho. Can we import sketches or have to draw it inside? For example a blender grease pencil sketch? Or just something scanned in from paper?
Thanks! You can import many formats of images, including PNG, JPEG and layered PSD. Moho can also import vector drawings from Illustrator or any other software as SVG

Hello! There are several ways you could do it. Here are a few ideas: You can use the Dark core and Dark core soft styles. You could use one of the brushes coming with the software. Or you could use the Scatter brush tool.

I'm looking for an animation software for my music cover videos, particularly in video games. 1 to 2 minutes short where I can animate characters, background objects like tress, and dynamic/cool scenes. The problem is I have no animation experience and very little digital art experience. My drawings are very basic, but have been practicing in trying to get better at art. Is Moho the right choice for me and if so, should I get Debut or Pro 14?
Debut, it's cheaper and you don't need more for your needs

but I downloaded the trial the SVG is grayed out and if i imported from general import it open the simplsam script, the script is awesome but what if i want to use the legacy importer instead of digging in menus and it create groups inside groups the old one was much simpler for a simple task like importing an svg object it as simple as drag and drop!
