Bart's video was a great inspiration and a great help. I was even able to do the famous bouncing ball and for real, It is not as easy as it looks. lol
exactly, that's why I made some small tutorials first, and in this video I made the official presentation of Moho. From now on we will see from the most basic to much more complex things. Including effects with after fx, or sprites for games, and even how to work with Photoshop and unity to create games. Brooo, Congratulations for having created the animation of the ball, it is not easy as it seems haha. but it is a very good exercise. I recommend many students to start with that animation, it teaches you a lot about time and space.
Hi there Harry, yes that´s the Unity lighting, it doesn't work that way in moho. If you want to create this type of fx in moho you would have to create like another layer and maybe use some blending shapes like in Photoshop, you have to literally draw the light fx frame by frame.

Hi ther Naomi, yeee okok, then I´m gonna keep doing videos answering questions and with more tech info. Yeah you are 100% right, cartoon saloon movies are such a great inspiration for those like us who are working in moho. about colors, in general a color palette is prepared before starting to draw, that helps to have an idea of the environment that is going to be created. For example if you are going to create a night scene, you will use blue and dark colors. If you are going to create a background of a day at the beach, you will use bright colors, different shades of sand, etc. Soon we will talk about color palettes to create backgrounds. 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Hi there Leo!!. yeah I´ll be uploading the next class explaining how to draw a full character inside moho and I´ll talk in detail about the auto lip sync too. But yeah, if you wanna check it out there´s an Auto lip sync tool. It´s called “Bone audio wiggle” and you can find it inside the scripts/sound menu at the top. 💪
@@HunterLeoGaming It's a bit complicated. In Moho 12, there was proper lip sync automation in switch layers for the standard phonemes, but in 13, the support for phonemes disappeared and would now only sync based on audio level, which is how bone audio wiggle works (but with bones). It still supported lip sync files from text, though. Now in the latest version of Moho 13.5, it returned with the ability to lip sync like before, with the added features of specifying what the audio says for more accuracy, as well as having multiple of the same phoneme to switch to randomly.
I worked with Toon Boom, and with Flash for games, or Unity and 3D Max. I think that the quality of Moho lies in the fact that it is an easy software to learn, it has a bit of everything, and the truth (in my case )is that it is perfect for my work. Hey hi there! oh thanks for your comment, and yes I´m working on it, next one is gonna be about Zbrush :D and yeah, I´ll talk about unity and Moho, how to create and export backgrounds and characters 🤩🤗🤗🤗
Hey Micah, nice to meet you!! oh, I started by creating some videos talking about some basics stuff about moho. But I will start in the next videos to explain from scratch how to work with it. I will talk about the most important tools, the principles of animation, how to draw and create different characters, how to create a storyboard, even how to work with other programs to add special effects. With all this you will be able to create awesome animations. Oh, and I´ll talk about 3D things too. mainly to create backgrounds, and how to work with both tools, 3D and 2D. but thanks for your comment and your support, it means a lot. 😃😃 By the way, what kind of animations would you like to do?. let me know so I can talk about that too. and if you have questions, just let me know.
Why moho 13 wont accept mp3 audio? Wave format take lot of space i make animations that have lot of conversations if i make the voices wave it will take lot of space in the hard drive
Hi there BigBoy, yeah, I understand you 100%. Moho dropped 32bit support. I don´t know the exact reason but, is like, if you are working on an animation project you are going to aim for the best possible sound quality…. Which is not a good answer. I work with lots of tests, and it would be great to have the Mp3 option. At least to work, and then at the end if you want yeah, do it with wavs. Have you tried the .ogg option?. Let me know. Sorry for the delay.
Hi, Thanks so much for these helpful channel. I have an issue with exporting my animations. No matter what I do, it's just not a smooth animation. I've created a test stick figure animation drawn using the point tool in Moho, I export for animation and the edges of the stick figure are just not smooth. I had someone tell me in the Moho forum that Moho can't do everything and to consider using it with After Effects. However, I created the same stick figure test in Toonsquid, a $10 app and export it and the animation is smooth! The lines of the stick figure look amazing! So I would think a $400 Moho should be able to export at least the same quality as the $10 Toonsquid. Can you please help me figure this out? A quick tutorial on exporting and then show the actual animation created to show how to get a smooth, sharp looking animation would be super helpful, thanks!
Hi Candis!!! How are you!. let's see. You don't need After fx to smooth your animations. The animations and characters can be created directly in Moho. You can see in the stitch video how I draw each part and it looks good in the preview and in the final animation. So, let me ask you, When you do the Preview, does it look smooth or does it look bad? Remember that in Moho everything can look bad while you work, but what matters is to look good on the preview and final render. So, if you do the preview and it looks good there, the problem is when you export the animation. Tomorrow (Friday 20) I'm going to upload a new video where I show my configuration to export. But let´s do this, first try with the Preview. (just in case) and let me know. Also, in your exporting panel there´s a check called “Extra-smooth images”. Try that too. I tried to draw a simple line and in my case, is looking good. I’m Using Moho pro 12. But let me know how it looks on your preview and I´ll try to help you of course. Have an amazing day!!
@@JayBlackCult I turned off the GPU acceleration and that helped a lot. I do know some Moho users promote creating characters directly in Moho, but I need my characters to be software independent so in case I want to switch to another animation software, I don't have to recreate the characters. Can't wait to see your new video showing your configuration :)
@@cand1ss Ahh okok I get it. Yeah, you are right. I use Illustrator, or photoshop sometimes. Redraw a vector character could be a nightmare lol. So, yeah In my next video I just show my render configuration, but I never thought that exporting from moho could cause those problems. I´m gonna investigate some more about it because those are the important things to be solved. Now that you mention the GPU, sometimes I have to change the GPU from premiere or after fx to avoid some problems on the render. let me know if in your case is working 100% now.
Tbh everything I have seen in Moho and all of its features and I don't see much future for many good freelancers, much less the big animation studios like the Japanese industry for example. If I don't see real exercises like the Sakuga style, I won't see it as such a professional tool. Since creating a model in Moho requires a lot of effort and time to work out different turns. Imagine an action scene. I'll pass you this video and tell me if it's really possible to do a setup in a simple and agile way to save time. Here u are :) ruclips.net/video/-k9uUe5Q06g/видео.html
Good comment and thanks for the link bro, I love Sakuga!!!. Ok let see, Moho is just a tool like many others and I wouldn't try to do something like Sakuga in Moho. To create animations like that, yeah, first you need to be an awesome animator and you have to know how to draw perfectly well to work with Frame by Frame. I mean, yeah you can do FBF on Moho, but if you are going to do a whole movie, characters, backgrounds all with fbf I´d use another tool. For anime, I saw that they work a lot with Retas Studio, Toon Boom, Cacani, Open Toonz, Toonz and of course some 3D software. Those have more detailed brushes and more options to work with FBF. But Actually, I think Moho will improve those details. We already have movies and it is being used a lot in Unity, so, I think we will have some cool surprises in the future. But remember, it's just a tool, and it all depends on what you want to do. If you wanna go with Sakuga style, yeah try toon boom or others. That’s for sure. Don't get me wrong, you could still make really cool fights in Moho (FBF), probably one day some animator will come along creating a super animation in Moho and that will put him over the top. I have already seen incredible things created with tools that was not made for that, in the end, everything will always depend on the talent of the person behind the screen. Awesome comment bro, thanks!!!! 😃💯💯

Please someone teach me to be good in Moho! I'm willing to pay
@@JayBlackCult My dream is to have even at least a simple animation series. Is Moho best software for that?
@@JayBlackCult no I did not try ogg I try it if its smaller in size then wave
@@bigboyanimation3799 Yes you can try it, is like an MP3 but with a little better quality. maybe that could help. 😀😀
Sir, Plz make moho tutorials.
I´m on it hehe. I´m preparing new surprises yeee. :) thanks for being there and for your support, it means a lot!!
Remember that in Moho everything can look bad while you work,
but what matters is to look good on the preview and final render.
Now that you mention the GPU, sometimes I have to change the GPU from premiere or after fx to avoid some problems on the render. let me know if in your case is working 100% now.
wow jay, epic tutorial bro
Moho and unity
Hi there Mood! Yeah, are you working with both?. 😃😃
@@JayBlackCult yes, but I'm new to moho 🌚
@@95mrf Don´t worry, I´m working on some Moho videos for beginners, I´ll talk about everything you need to know 😃💪
Tbh everything I have seen in Moho and all of its features and I don't see much future for many good freelancers, much less the big animation studios like the Japanese industry for example.
Here u are :)

😃💯💯
the community makes such beautiful art, and it's not homogeneous .I love all the indie stuff with each demo and tutorial it's so rad
Aww hi there Romy and thank so much for that.😃 It means a lot for real. I agree 100% with you, It is so cool to find people making art with so many different styles. are you a designer too?.
please help
What happened?
Keep going! I want to see more!
yeah I´m already working on a new video yeeee. :)
